I can concentrate 100% on the meeting without having to take notes. It´s much better than recording the meeting, as you have to transcribe it afterwards. Compared to other options I´ve seen, Fireflies take notes as if it was a human. The spelling is rarely wrong, and the name is not correct. I love the resume I can share with clients. It´s impressive. Fireflies.ai is really great for phone call or meeting transcripts. You can upload MP3s if the call didn't go through FF originally. For Zoom it logs into meetings automatically and records participants who were invited through Outlook Calendar in our case. It's the equivalent of a 20th century secretary with the added bonus that you can look back over meeting groups for keywords, common themes and common questions. This is invaluable for tracking what your customers think and say.

Fireflies is great at meeting transcriptions. The speed and accuracy of the transcriptions allows me to turnaround meeting minutes and action items to the various teams quickly and easily. Previously, it would take a day or two to review my notes, gather notes from other attendants and type up and distribute. Now I review the automated notes and action items; do minor editing and revisions and copy the whoe thing to our internal template and distribute across the org within an hour after the meeting is over. It is so simple to use and record meetings. Then it quickly gives me an accurate summary and breakdown of what was discussed plus action items for each person on the meeting. I value the accuracy. I used to use Otter and I guesstimate that it got my audio files about 80% correct in transcribing them. Fireflies gets my transcripts about 95% correct. I like that there is a option for New Zealand English. In transcribing words in te reo Māori, Fireflies uses a phonetic rather than an assumptive approach. When in hybrid meetings, Fireflies.ai is unable to distinguish accurately between speakers who aren't on Zoom or Teams. I am not sure this is something that can be resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
