# Is there a way to combine applicant profiles manually (if the software does not catch it)?

Some applicants either have typos that throw the system off, when there was a low percentage of matching information in the first place, or when so much of the information in the profile is different that the system does not catch it. I have caught a few applicants with duplicate profiles who were so different that all i could match was the first name and the details in the resume. For things that the system's algorithm doesn't catch (which is very infrequent), we need a way to combine them. I have not come across a way yet, so I am curious as to whether I simply was not taught that when I started with my company, or I may have missed how to do it when I try to explore the program myself.

Yes! Once you are in the applicants profile, look at the tab that says POSSIBLE DUPLICATES.
Once you find the correct one, click CONFIRM AS DUPLICATE.
Hope this helps! 🙂

If the software does not suggest a possible duplicate and the user catches it, how can I, as the user, suggest the duplicate and combine it manually?
