There are two things that cause us issues with Shopify POS. First, if you get logged out of your Shopify account while at a show it can be difficult to get logged back in quickly especially if you have 2FA enabled, like we do. I understand the security aspect, but we need access in a hurry and never know if/when we will get logged out by the system. Second, setting orders to ship instead of in person sales can be tricky. Shopify POS is solving the issue of making in person sales at trade shows and events that our company attends. We attend many off-road, motocross, racing, and remote events that don't really have a place to set up a traditional computer for sales. I think the main aspect that didn’t work well for us was a fixed, non-editable feature in the payroll module. When doing F&F calculations or generating payslips, you sometimes need to add custom items, but some of those fields aren’t editable. As a result, the payslip and payroll setup can feel a bit rigid, which isn’t ideal when you’re working with an HRMS tool and need flexibility.
