Rectangle health has been great for our office - taking payments has been so easy and the program was very easy to learn!

The least helpful is that sometimes the payments won't automatically post to patient accounts - but it is not difficult to manually do it.

I had no idea we still had the option to use Rectangle health.  They were happy to provide options during a difficult transition period at my practice.

I wish they were still partnered with NextGen EHR.

We had no choice for merchant services.  Rectangle Health offered a bridge solution for us when we had no idea what we would do next.

Rectangle Health is a user friendly payment tool. Easy to process payments and tools to make sending notice to patients easy.

Information has to be manually entered into some of the tools making it time consuming on the front end but since it is retained it becomes less consuming the more it is used.

They have added ways to send text messages to patients to help clean up balances sitting in our A/R.

**What do you like best about Rectangle Health?**

Once the setup was completed, every single transaction was completed simply and quickly. In my opinion, there is honestly not a more straightforward system for collecting card payments from clients/customers. The one time I've ever experienced a malfunction, it was resolved by the company representatives w/in an hour of using the "contact us"chat feature on their site. I have found every aspect of their software 1000x easier to use than the one integrated into our new EMR system for collecting payments and viewing the financial information gathered. 
Using card sliding/chip reading accessories makes it even easier for your front office staff to operate, as the patient payment info uploads into the software seamlessly w/o much info needing to be entered, but it is not necessary to operate. Instead, card information can be entered manually, and the pt's account will be instantly billed. Payment status is provided immediately in a clear manner, so you know right away if a payment method is valid.

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

Because it is not integrated into any electronic health record program (at least not one we've used), it is not immediately clear which payment applies to which patient. Furthermore - it isn't obvious which of the patient's charges exist and are still outstanding when you view your payment data.
The solution to this is self-evident -  you must enter some identifying information on the right side of the screen before charging each payment entered, making it easier to match records for your billing/accounting department later. However, that means there IS an extra step required of staff members at each end of the payment collection process. 1. 1. First, the front office person must enter an account number or appointment code while taking the payment from patients. 
2. Followed by now also needing someone from your billing or accounting department to use this identifier and connect the payment to the correct charge in your health records system to have valid working data about what payments were for and who made them to your practice,
Although not difficult, this does mean there are 2 extra steps required that can be streamlined by EHR/EMR's w/ payment collection ability integrated into their program. 
However, one could also argue this separation keeps you more aware of what's been done/paid across your clinics. NOt only does this keep you more informed on the ongoing care being done by your practice, but ALSO protects pt privacy - since potential cyber criminals can only gain access to half the information at a time.

**What problems is Rectangle Health solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to accept card payments both in person and over the phone instead of being limited to only cash and check payments. A simple user interface made a need for separate training so staff can begin applying it, an unnecessary step.

The software is user friendly and never goes down the way some card readers do. It's also very fast which is handy when you're in a hurry! It's also very detailed on customizing for if you have two different businesses so that each charge goes into the correct category as well.

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

I have yet to encounter a downside to using this product, it always works when I need it to and is exceptionally easy to use, even with employee's who are bad with electronics.

**Recommendations to others considering Rectangle Health:**

I highly recommend Rectangle Health because of how easy it is to use and the fact that it always works and never goes down. No more will you have to worry about the card reader being able to read the card or the card reader stopping working and needing to be reset, etc. I have yet to have even one problem with Rectangle. It really is a seamless very helpful easy to use program for receiving payments.

I don't have to have a card reader at my desk and thus don't have problems with the reader going down or not being able to read the card. Our business runs a lot smoother now due to this software.

ReminderCall is easy to use and helps us collect valuable survey information from clients after their appointments. It is easy for clients to click on the survey link that they receive via text. You can use the same message for every client without having to put the information in again, so it is convenient and doesn't take up a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

We want better integration and automation with our client records program, but that's not solely a ReminderCall problem. The interface was a little confusing to begin with, but once you understand it, you will be able to easily send texts and accomplish what you need to with the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Rectangle Health:**

Great if you need to send the same text to many different people and schedule it. We've been very happy with the service, and it is quite  affordable.

**What problems is Rectangle Health solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can send out surveys to our clients after their appointment, but ReminderCall allows us to space out the time a little so that it doesn't seem like we are too pushy. They can complete the survey at their leisure when they receive the text message. We love how simple the interface is to use. Just plug in phone numbers and one-click texting for the whole list. I like that you can see whether your text worked properly or not. Now we have clients completing surveys and we have better metrics as a result.

Sometimes the machine to run a visa doesn't connect and the payment has to be entered in manually. It's not a dislike, it's just not as easy

Processing an in person credit card payment with the terminal is very slow. There is also no way to turn off the signature portion.

They are affordable and reliable when sending messages. You can use E-mail, text, or a call. It will only send the reminder if they have an appointment once. Not a "We haven't seen you in a while" message, which our patients prefer to only get reminders when they have an appointment. You can also choose the time it is sent or send one at a specific time. We use that feature to let patients know when their supplements are in and avoid the awkward silence when we call them.

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

I wish we could send reminders the week before and the day before because a lot of the patients ask for this but you can only set one time.

**Recommendations to others considering Rectangle Health:**

You won't be disappointed. We have had no issues with reminders not getting sent/received. You don't have to go in and adjust settings all the time. It is easy to navigate and use.

Less missed appointments. We can see when the patient confirms their appointment.

Promise to reduce credit card processing fees  and improved cyber security for transaction processing

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

Oversold ease of use and promises of a smooth transition from our prior payment processing system to PM Bridge. Implementation is still a nightmare. We agreed to move from TSYS Transaction Central payment processing to PM Bridge because TSYS is an integrated payment partner with our EHR , NextGen. Our workflow is processing credit card payments through the NextGen Practice Management application and the price is processed and posted to the patient's account and transaction reported and reconciled in TSYS Transaction Central. Integrated solution. Rectangle Health promised a similar integrated workflow between PM Bridge and NextGen. Implementation involved downloading local access to the PM Bridge cloud based application, connection of new credit card processing terminals at several workstations, then user training. Interface between PM Bridge and NextGen payment transaction screens not working. Today we tried processing credit card transactions on the new terminals and they are not working. I have emailed and left VM messages for tech support and VP of sales, and no response. We are ready to cancel our service agreement due to breach.

Simple to place a payment. The system allows for ease of creating recurring payments. No problems looking up payment history.  Plenty of helpful reports for accounting purposes.

I have had no issues with the system at all. In fact, it has made things easier. Patients are able to set up payment plans with automatic withdrawl, which we did not have before.

There is no need for a card swiping system that takes up room on your desk or can fail at times. Approval takes seconds. The system allows for emailing receipts to save office supplies.

**Recommendations to others considering Rectangle Health:**

Ask your patients if they want to receive calls or not as it may be annoying to them if they are unable to see them on their phone! The texts are easy and simple to see who confirms to the appointment. I would recommend using it as it has helped increase our arrival rate overall. There is nothing I dislike about the service and I find it simple to integrate in our practice. The customer support is fantastic and I don't have any problems. I can call the people over the phone and they are able to help me right away. My advice would be to implement this into your practice right away. I think the price is very fair and it will help you in the future to retain patients. Nothing that I dislike about it. It is so easy to use overall; I have not received any negative feedback from patients regarding this product. We use the text appointment reminders and it does the job!!!!!!! I would strongly recommend using this program as it makes things more efficient and easier to work overall. I feel this program would benefit several clients as it has increased our client arrival rate and has been very efficient for everyone involved since beginning the course.

Reminder call saved me a lot of time and work. Since it is linked to the EMR we use, once the appointment is set, it automatically sends the reminder to all patients.
When I first started, I used call each patient everyday.

That a new patient who is on the schedule but doesn't have a file yet do not receive the reminder for their first appts.

ReminderCall is linked to our client management software (eKyros). It is super easy to send reminders, and I don't have to log into a different system to do it! Also, it saves our staff & volunteers from making telephone reminder calls.

I have not come across anything I dislike about ReminderCall. It's a great program.

It is connected to my scheduling  program so I don't even have to think about sending the texts myself, the computer does it all.

The time constraints, I cannot text before 8am, our clinic opens at 7am, that hour difference is huge for us.

It can get expensive for the simplicity of the services offered, but it's reliable most of the time and it's solved alot of our "no-shows" issues and has brought us up almost to level with modern day technology.

That patients nowadays rely on reminders and when our Remindercall system was down, we lost alot of appointments due to no-shows.

ReminderCall is a very easy-to-use reminder service. Set up was simple, and the customer service was fantastic. Before finding this service, our office had two staff members devoted to calling patients every morning, and now we save so much time and money.

They took the time to help me get my account set up and functioning the way I like. The business I work for has some unique needs, in regards to needing reminder texts sent. They listened and then took the time to brainstorm with me about how to best set up my account. It's quick and easy now! I barely need to take a second out of my day to set up my reminder texts.

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

I had to think for a bit about this. If I could provide feedback, it would be that the automation could be improved. I use their automated google calendar service to send reminder texts to my team, for upcoming shifts at odd hours. Not every shift is the same however, and I'd like there to be more customization with the message I automate via google calendar. The current setup is fine and works great, and I have a hunch that it would get complicated rather quickly if I tried to customize my reminder texts based on time of day AND what to say.

Make sure you call them and ask for help setting up your account! Even if you manage to set up the service all by yourself, they usually have tips to make it even easier! They are terrific with customer service and my phone call with them turned into making my job easier!

There is a major benefit for my company! We use ReminderCall to send texts reminding staff of an upcoming shift, at odd hours. Previously, staff wouldn't remember until it was too late, and it would result in a major customer service problem! ReminderCall has fixed that!

My favorite thing is that the service is intuitive and simple to set up and works so I don't have to! I was able to set it up and I received outstanding customer service along the way. Zack was reaching out to ensure I had every question answered and I knew exactly what I was doing. The step-by-step guide showed me exactly what I needed - how to connect my Google Calendar appointments so they would automatically send a text reminder to my students. I also love how easy it is to respond to a question or comment when a student responds via text and it comes to my email.

**What do you dislike about Rectangle Health?**

I think the overall user dashboard looks a little basic, but functions well. I know ReminderCall will improve the UX as they scale and get feedback from their users.

**What problems is Rectangle Health solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had 35-40% of our scheduled student calls being missed. Thanks to an automatic text reminder, as well as a personalized text follow-up, we have reduced that number by more than 50%. It's also an alternative option when we are trying to reach students who have gone missing and are on the verge of dropping. This service is invaluable.
