What I liked most is how intuitive and efficient the platform is, especially from an operations standpoint. What do you like best about CareStack?

The upside of using CareStack is that everything is in one place. Being able to work with claims and the clearinghouse directly in CareStack has been a time saver. Although there are many wonderful features, for me working with insurance daily, this has been huge! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CareStack?

First, the ledger—specifically when reviewing insurance postings—can be difficult to interpret. The verbiage used is somewhat confusing, which makes it harder to quickly understand what’s being shown. For example, when an insurance payment is posted you see what insurance paid on one line and then another line automatically shows and it categorized as an "adjustment" and the verbiage is "transfer adjustment - transfer to insurance". There is no need for this line. To me, this isn't a "transfer" or an "adjustment". It is simply what insurance paid. It is redundant. I wish I could at least relabel it as "insurance payment". It also feels like there are extra, unnecessary steps involved in the process. Streamlining the language and simplifying the workflow would make this much more user-friendly.

Second, printing receipts could use more flexibility. While there are filtering options available, there still seem to be additional details included that aren’t always relevant. It would be very helpful to have more control—ideally the ability to select specific line items and print only those. This is something we previously had with Eaglesoft, and it allowed for much more customized, clean receipts.

Lastly, I’d love to see improved visibility of patient alerts directly on the schedule screen. Currently, flags/alerts require hovering or clicking to view. It would be much more efficient if alert/flag indicators were automatically visible on the appointment box itself—similar to how confirmation status CFor RX indicators are displayed. Having alerts immediately visible would help our team quickly identify important patient notes without extra steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CareStack?

The developers thought of everything! I have been in dentistry for over 40 years and am just amazed at the features. It is easy to navigate and having everything integrated with links throughout the system makes it the best dental software on the market!! What do you dislike about CareStack?

There are a couple features we were told we would have that were not available upon our transistion, and unfortunately we are now being told it is still a couple quarters away from being implemented. What do you like best about CareStack?

Everything! There is nothing to dislike about it. Everything that carestack offers is top of the line. Best customer service on the market. Everything you need, from a clinical to a revenue standpoint can be found within the software. My account manager Alisha Gerrard is amazing. What do you like best about CareStack?

CareStack is a great option for cloud based software. We converted from Eaglesoft. The training process was great and the entire CS team was very responsive. The best part were the trainers. Huge shout out to Caroline, Ayisha, Abby, and Sharath (from VoiceStack.) They were in essence an extension of our team and super patient and kind with all of our questions and training needs. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and I’ll miss them the most!! Carestack definitely grew on me and the software is built to anticipate ans address the needs of dental professionals to truly aid in the success of the practice. Cloud based, so it is accessible from anywhere, which is great. Cutting edge, and always getting better. They listen to your recommendation and advice.
