Easy to use, great reporting, simple scheduling options, financials for patients are easy to understand and adjust as needed, documents easy to find, integrates easily with approved vendors.

Not cloud based and still requires a server. Not easy for multisite management.

Total PMS system, easy to use accounting allows for edits, scheduling is intuitive and easy to train, great software

Would like it to be cloud based but it is an older software so it understandable that its not

I like that the basic features (entering patient information/medical history) is very quick and easy to do

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

I wish I was able to enter insurance information more efficiently without needing to take extra time to go back and change information for other patients for claims to be sent correctly. I also wish it would allow you to get out of that window (like when a patient suddenly needs to be helped - I have to start the process all over again rather than being able to toggle out of that window and go back to it to finish.)

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eaglesoft allows me to track treatment acceptance as well as production numbers for each provider which is vital to my role in the company

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

I absolutely love Eaglesoft, I tell peole it is the Apple of dental management software. Easy to use, the best software I have used as far as ledgers and account management. Much less "clicking" to schedule appts, etc than Dentrix.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

I wish that their printed statements made more sense to patients, and that balances were easier to track where they come from.

It is fully comprehensive for dental management needs.

As a daily user of Eaglesoft I feel it is extremely user friendly, reports are easy to find and generate, works well with other software and also offers  great customer support.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

Downside of Eaglesoft is it is not as widely used as Dentrix.

Eaglesoft continually works on upgrading to keep the sotware relevant.

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

It's basically the central intelligence hub for our entire practice. We use it to do basically everything. If not for Eaglesoft, we would not have any way to manage patient charts, contacts,  or submit claims and manage billing.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The benefits tend to outweigh any downsides (it's not like we can just up and change to something else right now!). It does crash from time to time and the integration with adobe can be annoying when adobe updates but what program doesn't have bug issues?

All of them! It contains pretty much everything I need to do my job, but I would say most importantly scheduling! It helps us stay on track throughout the day and keep track of everything we will ever need to do in the future

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

It allows us to manage all patient demographics like their contact info, insurance, treatment plan, charting etc. once you get the hang of it its quite easy to see everything in the patients account. Its pretty much the brain of everything we do here

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

it does crash sometimes, and sometimes there are errors in the way info is viewed. usually logging out and logging back in or a restart can do the trick. It is nice that they have remote support for things like this though.

We wouldn't be able to manage patients information without it. So the biggest benefit is that unlike some offices we do not have to have paper charts and can access information very quickly. It would be hard to imagine our practice without this

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

It is easy to learn. There are virtually four ways to do the same thing, so each of my co-workers can get to the same part of the software through different avenues that they are use to. For example front desk can pull up films to send to insurance or a referral office one way and the clinical team can bring fuilms up a completely different way as they go through a clinical side of the software.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

I don't particularly appreciate how Eaglesoft and windows are not compatible. Every time there is a windows update it seems as though eaglesoft cannot commute. In other words we get booted out of the software often. Also, we aren't able to always upload and use the newest version of excel or word. It also isn't compatible withoutlook. Our office is still using outlook 2003 because of this (per our IT person) and we couldn't download the newest update of Eaglesoft without issues (12 hours of IT work).

They quickly answer the phone or have a virtual chat that can help. The virtual chat doesn't seem to be a bot and can usually answer my questions while I am busy with patients and have the chat box open in the background.

Eagelsoft has been very user friendly to use and the updates always seem to improve how much we can use eaglesoft. I am still learning new features each day of ways to improve our practice

As there are so many features, sometimes it can be hard to change certain things such as open schedule and making custom hours, those seem to be the hardest thing to change.

It does all of our scheduling, charting, patient information, and a majority of the tools needed to run a dental practice. It benefits us because we use it on a daily basis and it seems to be pretty easy to understand the clinical perspective.

Eaglesoft allows for multiple programs to integrate with it, which is useful when Eaglesoft isn't causing the computer to crash.  The integration is easy and allows for better patient communication.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

Eaglesoft support is easy to contact, but its issues are consistent, and the use of Eaglesoft causes frequent crashing, especially on the front desk computer. The support team explains this will happen on computers that constantly run the schedule.

Eaglsoft allows us to schedule and manage patient accounts. It is a relatively easy system to learn for anyone who has never used it before so if all the technical issues could be worked out it would be a better program overall.

We love the interface for scheduling and how easy other applications can integrate.

Sometimes we have to deal with software errors with Microsoft- which requires a phone call to tech support. These instances are few and far between.

Eaglesoft is very easy to use and has so much you can do with in the program. I learn new ways of doing things on Eaglesoft daily. The different types of reports are great for finding out information needed to make sure your dental office is running efficently.

I run into a few errors every now and then, this can be a bit aggravating since it closes the program down when error is noted.

Eaglesoft is best for our dental practice because we can pull so many reports for patients, insurance, billing, the list is endless. It is user friendly and very easy to learn.

Often times Eaglesoft will have little glitches. It is frustrating that only one person can be in someones smart docs or medical history at a time. We will often have the chart pulled up in the patients room and then the doctors have to ask dental assistants to get out of the chart so that they can see things.

We are able to out all patient information into Eaglesoft (insurance, medical history, signed treatment plans, etc.). The benefits is we are able to use other companies to work in sync with Eagelsoft.

I love the fact that I don't have to manually send our patients appointment reminders.  Revenue Well reads the information on Eaglesoft and sends them for me.

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

Eaglesoft is relatively easy to learn and most PM functions work well.  Clinical staff seems to have little trouble with it.  The look and feel is user friendly for the most part. Support is relatively responsive.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The shortcomings of Eaglesoft are too numerous to list here. Several items make it fall short in security - no timed logoff, cannot use windows auto-logoff because ES cannot launch under multiple users, does not integrate with a CAC card, cannot use 2-factor authentication with it, etc....  There is no way to audit Eaglesoft, and there is no way to prove what user is entering patient chart notes. There is no way to sign chart notes electronically.  There is no way to store CRT image videos. Pictures taken via camera are difficult to integrate. Eaglesoft lacks any customization of patient printouts. Eaglesoft has very limited text fields on patient printouts, eaglesoft has no electronic documents, Most functions will require additional costs to turn on. Eaglesoft tends to nickel and dime you for everything.  Eaglesfot development does not fix outstanding problems and does not clean up broken links from version to version. In fact Eaglesoft development only fixes issues if enough end-users complain, but they make it difficult to complain about items.  Eaglesoft seems to have stalled in any significant advancement about 10 years ago and the look and feel is somewhat outdated.

**Recommendations to others considering Eaglesoft:**

I would look at Opendental and Dentrix. Consider Billing and insurance integration. Digital imaging integration, how often the software is updated, and built-in measures to meet HIPPA are in place. Also what Auditing is available at a reasonable cost. Also, ask what the cost of modules are to accomplish everything you will need to get done daily.

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HIPPA compliance, patient chart note signing, broken links, lack of auditing, lack of integration with current digital files such as CRT videos, lack of AI help with routine processes, hidden costs of making features work.

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

Eaglesoft's interface has not changed dramatically over the years which makes it easy to learn and continue to use. Appointments are easy to schedule, the chart is easy to ready and customizable. Eaglesoft has many of the base features a private dentist's office would need. There are often 3-4 ways to get to the same area which makes it easy to navigate no matter where you are in the software.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

Eaglesoft is an older and layered program. It is a little clunky, redundant, and frustrating for users at times. There are many ways to do things, which can be a positive, as mentioned above, but s it can make it confusing for new trainees to learn the icons and navigate (which are not always conducive to what the icon does). This program is not practical for any other practice setting than a private practice. It isn't easy to pull specific reports a nonprofit and/or public entity might require. Often, we have to hand count which is not ideal for reporting purposes. Additionally, it does not allow you to merge duplicated patients, duplicate insurances, etc. Essentially, once anything is tagged to anything else, it cannot be deleted and/or merged to reduce duplicates.

Eaglesoft is our main electronic health record for our clinic. We use it to schedule patients, manage charts, xrays, and other aspects in providing oral health care.

I love the organization of it all. If Eaglesoft is set up properly from the start, it can take all guesswork out of scheduling/ setting goals etc

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The only thing I dislike or wish I could do is block scheduling I wish I could pre block a day the way I want and copy the whole day like that, rather than creating individual blocks. However, that said, you can create scheduling templates with Eaglesoft- so there is an option for something similar

Ease of scheduling, creating goals per provider, easily put in prescriptions, patient alerts, any kind of report imaginable...the list goes on and on

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

It has lots of features other dental software doesn't have. Visible notes can be added for dental claims when there are any special circumstances. Insurance estimates are more accurate as long as the data is entered correctly and the coverage books are easier to edit accordingly. Appointment notes also appear on the appointment book for easy reference.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The system can be temperamental and prone to crashes. Certain codes do not auto fix like in other practice management softwares. The strong footprint it leaves makes it difficult to modify data when a mistake is made during entry.

**Recommendations to others considering Eaglesoft:**

Eaglesoft is ideal in use with DSO structured practices due to the various tracking tools for production and collections that other softwares do not have or are not easily accessible.

There are hundreds of customizable reports and seeing daily and monthly goals is very user friendly. The ledger and charts are set up in a way that you cannot lose data if it's edited, everything that is saved will always be there still with both versions. Insurance estimates are more reliable when the data is entered correctly.

Very basic. A lot more difficult to maneuver than better softwares

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

I have used many dental softwares in the past through temping in various dental offices and Eaglesoft is one of my favorites. I like that the format is easy to read, it is organized, it is easy to communicate back and forth between offices/referrals, and it is quite nice that we can send instants messages to other clinical and administrative staff throughout the day. For example, it is nice to send a message to the front desk to check on insurance verification while you start the prophylaxis or start taking the patient's X-rays. It saves on time! I like that as a clinician, that I can pick and choose how my ondontogram looks and is setup. For example, I can set up a quick button to treatment plan an occlusal cavity or a button to quickly add fluoride treatment to the appointment.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

Eaglesoft randomly can freeze in the middle of X-rays or in the middle of dental charting (this can be frustrating at times, especially if you have a patient in your dental chair). I am not a big fan of the ledger, I feel as though it is confusing at times and difficult to read, but I rarely to never look at the ledger because I am clinical.

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eaglesoft has been beneficial when it comes to organizing a patient's chart, reviewing their medical history, documenting, and referring to offices. It is nice that everything can be scanned into their chart-it keeps it very organized!

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

EagleSoft is so user friendly and I really like that there are multiple ways and options to do most things!  The client support is unmatched - online, on chat, in help and most certainly in person.  It is easy to train and it's easy to learn.  There are so many options for support that there is no reason someone cannot become completely proficient.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The main thing I would like to see changed about EagleSoft is that a user would be able to go to other screens from the Account screen. There are so few things that I dislike or that I would change.

**Recommendations to others considering Eaglesoft:**

ES is user friendly, easy to train and easy to learn.  The support is excellent in all aspects - in person, chat, help, etc.  There are also multiple help videos on youtube if you are a self teacher.  We have had little to no problems with ES, including when we purchased and merged a practice a year ago.  If only everything was as smooth as ES to implement!

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting is excellent, especially this time of year.  EagleSoft is the most efficient software I've used (in this industry). I like that the security features are in place, but optional, to use when/if needed and based on a position, not an individual.  There are so many benefits to using EagleSoft that I don't even know where to start!

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

It allows end to end user and  consumer to  process transactions and great feature database of all transactions that you do day in day out .It installations leverages to PC TAB and system and plus point can you can remotely access it.the best feature is paperless chart and flexible appointment tool.it saves time and efficiency .

it is not user friendly but I do expect it to be more .

you wont have any while switching between interface to make appointment , you can schedule insurance claim and can take xray from good imaging window . do you not like paperless charts in office ?

when it comes to seamless integration between practice management and clinical functionality -eaglesoft lead  and provide to ease of mind while doing transactions. Its intuitive surface is designed to grow with time

**What do you like best about Eaglesoft?**

The organization of patients is much similar to how call centers use. This allows us to better be on the same as and about our patients. Most of the software is easily labelled and very much easy to get in the hang of and use. I love also that this is very diversely used in our office: billing coordinators use this software to find what they need to, front desk receptionists can use this to keep track of the patients, doctors have easy access to patient information, and we are capable of communicating between the different departments.

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The icons are not always the most intuitive. Most of this software is very great, and once you memorize them all it's absolutely acceptable to work with, but I do wish the icons were represented by more intuitive images or had labels underneath. 

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My personal responsibilities that EagleSoft helps exponentially with are:
- finding which patients are due, overdue, or nearly due for treatment
- easily locating contact information so I can get in touch with patients
- effectively link treatment planning to appointments or individual profile's
- assessing billing/what to send the insurance and estimating what we should be collecting as a department at the time of service to accurately allow patients to know what their insurance will make them responsible for.

Eaglesoft is incredibly easy for new users even with the frequent updates. The icons are large and easily identifiable. Scheduling is very simple, keeps good records of all production and procedures. Perio and dental charting are great

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

I have experienced frequent glitches where the entire program must be closed out in order to plug in the Schick X-ray sensor. Can be inconvenient

Eaglesoft makes it easy to look at the schedule at a glance. The messaging system is also great because instead of a message popping up where the payment can see, there’s just a flashing notification.

I like that EagleSoft has a very user friendly platform. It is easy to learn and has a LOT of reports and information that is essential to run a dental office. The posting of payments and processing insurance is seamless and I cannot say enough about their support. EagleSoft support is hands down the BEST support that I have ever received for any product. 

**What do you dislike about Eaglesoft?**

The only thing that I dislike is if I accidently resize or click on a window the schedule will resize and mess up the view that I am looking at. Support can always help, but there is a such thing as too customizable.

Compared to many others, the support you get with EagleSoft is so worth the price. 

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EagleSoft runs our entire dental practice. It does our scheduling, keeps track of our patient database, our accounting, intraoral pictures, our referral sources and everything that is essential for our practice to run.

Easy to navigate, love almost everything about the insurance section. Very versatile to any office.

Would love little upgrades to the insurance section such as age limits, tooth numbers and a separate ortho section without having to create another policy holder and employer.

Its a Windows based platform so if you know how to use windows you will know how to use Eaglesoft.

Sometimes I want a VERY specific report. You can pull TONS and TONS of reports but sometimes I need one that Eaglesoft doesn't have that I want.

Do it! If you want to track everything in your office this is the program that you want. It's functional, easy to use, and makes running a dental practice so much easier and time saving than what other programs offer practices out there.

Patient management, schedule management, practice management and many other issues over the years of having it in my practice.

I love the insurance options. I have worked with a couple other dental softwares and eaglesoft is the best. I can get the closest insurance estimates with this software than any other.

I wish there was an easier way to deal with secondary insurance estimations. I wish real time eligibility worked with 100% of the insurance companies.

This platform was user friendly. Easy to navigate and the main dash hides patient information better than other software.

I do feel like some of it was a little extra compared to other competitors. Instead of just having everything you need on the screen you had to go the extra mile to get to where you need. ( ex. Getting to a patients chart you had to click on a chair THEN search for the patients info)

Very user friendly. Was even used in school so it’s a great platform to use for those who havent been in the field before. Just an easy way to keenup with patient records and make scheduling easier.

It's very easy to use, has a streamlined UI, and is very unlimited in capabilities for all dental office software needs. We'd probably be lost without it!

Sometimes it crashes when working with other outside software or causes the outside software to crash (when they're connected.)

**What problems is Eaglesoft solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It does pretty much everything for us--scheduling, patient info, patient finance, insurance claims and payments, appointment codes and route sheets, not to mention daily/monthly/yearly reports for scheduling, services, patients, finances, etc. Without it, it's pretty much impossible to run the office!

The software is so easy to use, plus there is a lot of information you can store on the software and run it whenever you need, all will be organized and easy to access
The customer services are outstanding - the staff are quick in reponding to an ussue.

the software still have a few errors while running the report, sometimes, it takes to long to generate a report that it freeze the computer

There is not one thing that I do not like about this software. It is easy and everyone can use it!

The only thing I did not find convenient was the fact we could not switch from office schedule to office schedule but other than that it was great!

It is user friendly and it is simply wonderful! When we knew we were going to switch to another software we were all sad. It also has many colors so it is a never boring background like some other softwares. I personally liked that. I highly recommend!

We had no problems with Eaglesoft so none were being solved.

The main feature I like is how easy it is to use. Training employees can take some time but this software makes it easy.
