RevolutionEHR includes a complete EHR, medical billing, patient scheduling, medical accounting and a picture archiving system. RevolutionEHR also offers a personal health record for patients, allowing them access to appointments, billing, prescriptions, and other important information. RevolutionEHR is 2014 ONC-ATCB certified and comes with a built-in FDA medication database. The practice management feature helps practices to manage scheduling, billing and accounting. The solution can also be used to handle claims submissions, store medical records and manage documents, among others. A personal health record portal for patients enables them to track appointments, build medication history, make payments, receive appointment reminders and send text messages to their doctors. RevolutionEHR is primarily suitable for small and midsize practices, corporate affiliates, multi-location practices, and specialty groups. On top of that, if you have anyone new that isn’t familiar with optical, they have great training videos on how to use Rev. **What do you dislike about RevolutionEHR?** The only thing that i don’t like is that it logs you out after about a minute of not doing anything. **Recommendations to others considering RevolutionEHR:** Super easy to learn to use and has great ease to transition into. No one has been able to help this issue. Benefits certainly include that it’s cloud-based and you are able to access it anywhere using the internet. ### 6. Revolution has by far been the best. It’s user friendly, customer service and support is great and it’s had an array of valuable features **What do you dislike about RevolutionEHR?** I would receive error messages constantly while placing orders. It seems that the system has a few bugs that needed to be worked out **What problems is RevolutionEHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Revolution has made intraoffice communications much simpler. Tasks are a great feature that help the office flow and allow the staff to stay on top of patient management. It allows anyone in the office to have a clear snapshot of what has been going on with a patient and where we are in the process. ### 7. It was nice knowing that you have a guideline to start with. It does not allow you to go forward with orders or billing until the other steps are completed. It always has a great Imaging Integrator, where it can connect to your different devices in the practice to upload data and photos that are taken. **What problems is RevolutionEHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Running a variety of reports depending on what you need. We should also be able to only have the schedule up for the hours we are open. The billing is also a little more difficult to use so that takes a little more time when checking a patient out. **Recommendations to others considering RevolutionEHR:** Run a trial first to make sure you like it. The schedule is the easiest but other parts such as billing is a little more complicated. When checking a patient out it shouldn't take but a couple minutes, we found it take more than 5 minutes and taking the amount of time makes us less efficient. **What problems is RevolutionEHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy to use for the most part and we are more efficient especially for the schedule and searching for the patients appointment. ### 13. If I need to work from home it is not an issue. It lets me track what each of my employees has done.. **What do you dislike about RevolutionEHR?** Rev is not intuitive at all. It takes tons of clicks and steps to complete any task. It also freezes and times out frequently. After an update, the software is slow. Accounting is very difficult. **Recommendations to others considering RevolutionEHR:** Be prepared for updates. They re usually on Thursday and the software is slow and full of bugs after. **What problems is RevolutionEHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rev has allowed us to keep the paper to a minimum. It is nice that when a patient calls we don’t have to go into a big room and pull a chart. Also because it is cloud based there is no need for a server room. ### 17. And the “tasking” system seems a little complicated. **What problems is RevolutionEHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Inputting patient exam information is simpler using Rev than using ExamWriter. I think OfficeMate and Revolution are one in the same when it comes to demographics and insurance information. ### 20. The interface is easy to get used to and the process is very streamlined. The customer support is fantastic too! **What do you dislike about RevolutionEHR?** What do I dislike?
