It has been a great product for our business. We have 11 offices and we use our in-house servers to run this platform. We have several components that integrate into Allscripts to pull data from their database. They have effective technical support. They have been very helpful during version upgrades, server migrations, addressing issues that may arise. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** Sometimes their support team is slow to get back with you. They seem very compartmentalized, so you may have to deal with a few different people before you get a proper resolution. **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allscripts provides a stable platform for practice management. We are able to effectively run our 11 office healthcare system on this platform. Users are quick to learn the in and outs of the program. ### 4. When you know the ins and outs of what the program is able to do, documenting and referencing information in the health record is quick. I particularly liked the templates that could be loaded onto the physical exams. There was also a very convenient notepad function that can float while you’re moving around within the application. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** Without instruction or having used this system before, it is very unintuitive. The interface is very cluttered and even though there are many icons, they are not always super useful or even efficient to help communicate what each button is for. **Recommendations to others considering Veradigm EHR:** Explore your EHR options. **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Definitely centralizes the health record for one practice. It makes looking up old information easier and is incredibly useful in sending orders and medications. It’s like any EHR in that sense. ### 5. I came from a hospital and used a different EHR and found it was easy for me to make the change **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** I dislike that features such as faxing and secure emailing from the application don't always work as it should. **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it as our main EHR. The benefits are adding back office reports that are ran on a weekly basis for projects such as Meaningful Use and PCMH. ### 6. All scripts makes it do fast and easy to meet the need of every patient whether they need 1 filled or 100. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** Nothing. I have been using all scripts since May of 2017 and have fallen in love. **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** It eliminates a lot of the waiting on hold on phones and helps expedite the patients Rx when it does finally get to the pharmacy. ### 11. The convince for both staff and patients to not have to print and deliver scripts is a huge plus. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** We use this integrated with Dentrix dental software and there is some redundancy in recording allergies and existing meds that creates extra work with initial set up for each patient. **Recommendations to others considering Veradigm EHR:** Allscripts works well as an electronic Rx software It has not completly replaced printed perscriptions in our office but has cut them down by more than half. **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Patients are able to get their scripts faster at the pharmacy and we are able to confirm current meds easier ### 12. I can flip from scheduling an appointment, to submitting superbill, to looking at service inquiries. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** I dislike the constant password changes. Good chart creation, note writing, and orders. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** Notes take a bit longer than a more automated system (such as Epic), but still adequate for a small/private clinic setting. **Recommendations to others considering Veradigm EHR:** create macros to help with your note-writing speed **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** register patients in clinic, assign to room, create chart and appropriate records. ### 15. It was for physician practices with the hospital. **What do you dislike about Veradigm EHR?** It is cumbersome, and with so many options many physicians quit trying. **Recommendations to others considering Veradigm EHR:** If considering custom solutions, make sure there is an adequate support team on site. Training was also somewhat difficult to attain. **What problems is Veradigm EHR solving and how is that benefiting you?** All business problems were being solved with some form of Allscripts software. From financial information to patient notes to physician interactions. There was nothing within the hospital that was untouched by Allscripts software. There should be synergies that come from that integration and I believe they were building that portion, but at the time, these were separate systems. ### 16. Electronic medical records is a much more efficient way to run a practice than using bulky charts. ### 17.
