"Excellent Organization"

What do you like best?

What I like the best about Crystal is how organized it is. Everything about a patient is organized by certain tabs under their patient profile. It’s super easy to navigate.

What do you dislike?

I don’t really dislike anything about crystal. I haven’t came across anything to dislike Crystal yet.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are beating the old school way of having patient charts in folders. There is no need for file cabinets anymore with this. Everything we need to know about a patient is on their patient profile. It makes things easy and less time consuming for us and the patient.

"CPM Software"

What do you like best?

Crystal is a very straightforward software to use. I like that it ask for all the information needed to use the software effectively. I like most of all that Crystal allowed the transition from paper to electronic usage very easy.

What do you dislike?

There was nothing I dislike about Crystal for the most part. I think the company should make it a bit easier when linking multiple office locations to make files more easily accessible.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Crystal is a bit pricey but it is well worth it to keep your practice organized and the minimalize lost of patient documents.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Crystal has definitely made a difference in the transition from paper to electronic systems on the office. Everyone is able to view the same thing when necessary and does not have to be in the same room to do so. You don't have to worry about documents being lost or misplaced also.

"Good Product. "

What do you like best?

It was easy to use and it made scheduling appointments super easy because it automatically populates the duration of each type of appointment. Also, I liked that you could instant message people or computers that they were using.

What do you dislike?

I disliked that the files tab would require an outside program, such as adobe acrobat, to view files for a patient. I also dislike that you can not edit/crop/rotate scanned images in crystal once it is in the files tab.

It is great!

Crystal Practice Management helped the optometry office I worked at facilitate all operations. Our practice was completely dependent on this program. We had a power outage and was unable to do anything because crystal was down- that goes to show how dependent on the software we are.

"Tedius, but thorough"

What do you like best?

The amount of customization that can be done for individuals in the same company using the software.

What do you dislike?

The confusion of having several unnecessary information fields that were not removable. It makes finding the more relevant fields take much longer and is, therefore, less efficient.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure to spend time with support to fully understand the customization tools. They can come in handy down the road and will help to ease the transition from other software.

We are able to customize patient information, track medical insurance payments and disbursements, and keep all information electronically filed. There are numerous benefits to using a digital system, including increased efficiency, less confusion or loss of patient history, and patient retention.

"People friendly software "

What do you like best?

I like how easy it was to learn how to use and the possibilities seemed endless.

What do you dislike?

Nothing to dislike. It's user friendly and adaptable.

Its easy to use and learn. Support is always ready to help. Response time is very good.

It makes recording patients EMR very easy and clear to understand. It has a wide range of capabilities and numerous formats to choose from.

"Excellent, customizable EHR"

What do you like best?

Really like how this EHR is perfect for the primary care optometry office. Do not need to worry about having to free text basic things like contact lens parameters or exam findings. You can even customize to include more pages that suit your office, like binocular vision findings.

What do you dislike?

I wish I could retrieve deleted/completed tasks in a "done" folder.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's a one stop shop - charting, scheduling, and messaging. Communicating with other staff members about a certain patient or order is KEY. No more lost post its!

"User friendly and easy"

What do you like best?

I like Crystal PM's layout and design. Everything is user friendly, more so than Compulink.

What do you dislike?

The only screen that needed updates was the insurance page.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Crystal PM has a much better scheduling feature than Compulink. It is much easier to make and move appointments.

"Works great on collecting data on patients "

What do you like best?

I loved how it put all our patients sessions in one place for us to review and record what happened.

What do you dislike?

We had a glitch in our system that if two people where in the same patients file. What ever the second person was writing wouldn’t get saved.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it to put our patients eye exam information and to record our patients sessions as well as our calendar where we schedule patients.

"Easy to use"

What do you like best?

Very easy to catch on and use. No need for extensive training.

What do you dislike?

Free typing medications with no spell check.

"CrystalPM is user friendly. "

What do you like best?

Compared to our previous software system, CrystalPM is very user friendly and customizable. It is easy to add or delete items as needed.

What do you dislike?

It was a bit lengthy in the set-up, but once we started using it, it made our lives much easier!

This software allows us to be more efficient with our time and with our patient care.

"Crystal PM Review "

What do you like best?

The ability to customize the program ad well as the ease of use. The customer service is also exceptional.

What do you dislike?

The inability look up a sale by the product sold and be able to go directly to that patient's file.

"Great practice management system"

What do you like best?

I love the quote option as well as the transpose option. Both are super helpful as an optician.

What do you dislike?

I wish the quote could be changed back into a quote from an invoice.

It allows for better communication between staff on different days when used properly.

"Outdated interface, not very user friendly"

What do you like best?

Has more scheduling options than previously used software

What do you dislike?

Too many steps to perform basic functions. Old-looking interface. Looks like it was last updated in 1992.

Seriously consider other options.

We were able to establish a wait list for patients which gets them in the office more quickly.

I appreciate how simplified it is. It's very easy to learn on the job, instead of spending several hours in training.

Importing web update too long a process.
