In terms of areas for improvement, we haven’t quite managed to get our reps fully engaged with the in-app group chats yet. They tend to be more responsive on WhatsApp, so we haven’t made as much use of the chat feature as we originally expected. It may simply be a change-management issue on our side rather than a limitation of the platform itself.

Another small improvement would be around payroll setup. It would be extremely helpful if workers could enter their bank details during the sign-up process and have these details automatically appear on the exported payroll PDF. Before using Connecteam, we managed almost everything through Google Sheets. While this worked at a very basic level, it quickly became clunky, time-consuming, and difficult to scale. Scheduling, tracking hours, and managing payroll were all manual processes, which left a lot of room for errors and inconsistencies. Connecteam has completely centralised and professionalised these processes. Scheduling is now clear and transparent, time tracking is accurate and verifiable, and payroll is based on real data rather than estimates or invoices. This has removed ambiguity, reduced disputes, and rebuilt trust on both sides. Employees can clearly see their shifts and logged hours, and we have full confidence that payroll is accurate and fair.

There is very little I dislike about monday Work Management, which is rare for me when it comes to software platforms. Usually, I can find something that could be improved or that doesn't quite make sense, but honestly, this program seems to fulfill all of our requirements. Day-to-day tracking of our production projects so that we can stay on top of our timelines. It also has columns that we can customize, which helps us know where our contracts are in our review process. This allows us to ensure we have the documentation needed before releasing a job into production. 1. Employee onboarding process met to next level of transparency where checklists functionality makes a great role in the overall process, now all transactions can be managed in digital mode, instead of manual work.

There are a few items that are counterintuitive in their location.

While Hubstaff works well for most of the time, there are some annoyances. If a project has a daily limit and the project manager is on a different timezone than the worker, it might confuse the worker when the timer resets at midnight in their timezone but not in the project manager's timezone. Another problem is when one project has daily limits and another doesn't, the worker still has to ask a team leader or project manager to reset the limit if they reach a similar time to the daily limit. Up to now, I have not faced any problems, but I feel it is important to recognize the outstanding support team. Additionally, although the platform’s simplicity is one of its strengths, it can also be restrictive. There is limited flexibility to tailor workflows or data fields beyond the standard settings, which could pose challenges for organizations with highly specific HR needs. The main challenge that BambooHR has addressed for us is the decentralization and manual handling of HR data. Previously, we managed employee records through spreadsheets, kept documents in separate folders, and relied on email threads for time-off requests. This approach was not only inefficient but also increased the risk of errors and security issues.

One of the biggest advantages has been establishing a single source of truth. Now, all employee information is stored in a centralized and secure location, eliminating data silos and ensuring we always have access to accurate, up-to-date records. This change has saved our HR team a significant amount of time on administrative work.

Having all our data in one system has also enabled us to make data-driven decisions. I had a particular experience where I entered the wrong information and it took a little while to figure out how to delete that particular line of information. Once I figured out the format it was easy but initially, I was stumped. Maybe if a user were able to enter notes in the same space as they're entering times, it would make things easier because the user wouldn't have to click on an entirely separate tab in order to enter notes. I find the search functionality on the app quite frustrating. When I need to quickly look up a specific past issue and see who it was assigned to, there really isn’t an easy way to do it. We mainly use Float as a resource management and work management tool. It allows us to monitor completed tasks, track what is still pending, and see which resources remain available for allocation. This makes scheduling our resources much easier. While the time tracking feature is useful, it isn't essential for us since we rely on other software for that purpose. What I dislike about Jibble is that the app occasionally takes a bit longer to sync attendance data across devices. Sometimes the clock-in or clock-out status doesn’t update immediately, which can create small inconveniences when tracking time accurately. In time and labor, it would be great to also see the time off request for employees when looking at their timecard. Have their time off request show like when they make time card corrections. Allowing managers and admins to review it without leaving their timecard. When approving their timecard under Employee Approval, that Adjustments get approved when they select all the employees at once and approve their timesheet.

Sometimes, when I'm overwhelmed with the workloads, I tend to forget to clock out after my shift, which may cause me to write a report on why I forget to clock out on time. So it really helps if there is a notification email that reminds me to clock out. Also it really help to have a confirmation button whenever I need to change type of work or clock out. I feel like a lot of the glitches are caused by our high traffic of calls and emails, and I wish Dialpad Support would work to expand the capabilities of the software instead of just patching things up as we go along.
