Xero helps solve the problem of managing accounting tasks manually and keeping financial information organized. what I dislike most is that some useful features are locked behind higher-priced plans, which can feel expensive for a small business. Before PandaDoc, sending proposals and contracts felt like a lot of unnecessary back and forth. Now we can put everything together, send it, see when a client has viewed it, and get signatures all in one place. The two issues I’ve encountered most are: 1) Autofill. Sometimes my users are asked to enter information that includes multiple names and email addresses, and autofill is a little too quick to populate their details. That leads to my second problem. 2) Edits. If the first person makes a mistake and then their higher authority needs to sign second, I can’t correct the error (especially if they were filling it out quickly with autofill). It becomes confusing for the admin (the second signer) when I have to cancel and resend documents, or download the form after the first signer and then re-upload it to fix the issues before sending it back to the admin. Having an edit option after the form has been sent would be life changing. Also being able to track the document from the sign inbox- including views, opens, etc would be helpful. Sometimes when an admin (second signer) opens multiple times but doesn't sign flags me to follow up. One thing I find less convenient is that some advanced features can feel a little complex, especially when editing or organizing larger PDF documents. Before we started using Adobe Acrobat, we often had to rely on several different tools to edit, convert, sign, and organize PDF documents, which made our workflow slower and less convenient. I think with every large platform it's hard to pivot to make every new feature work in every area. As power users, we try to adjust the platform as best we can as we learn its limitations. One of the biggest challenges with NetSuite is that some processes are not very intuitive, particularly when working with financial reporting and CSV imports. Import errors can sometimes be difficult to troubleshoot because the error messages do not always clearly identify the underlying problem.

Financial reporting can also require significant customization to obtain the information in the exact format needed. I would like to see stronger and more user-friendly reporting tools, especially for cash flow analysis and financial statement preparation.

NetSuite helps us centralize accounting and financial information across multiple entities and provides a consistent platform for AP, journal entries, bank activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

One of the biggest benefits for me is the ability to automate processes that would otherwise require significant manual work. For example, CSV imports allow us to upload large volumes of transactions instead of entering them individually, and saved searches help with reconciliations, research, and recurring reporting.

Refrens is helping me solve the problem of managing quotations, invoices and payment tracking in one place. Earlier, keeping track of invoices and pending payments could become difficult, especially when dealing with multiple clients. I just started a business and was spinning in circles setting up a process to write customer agreements and collect payments. Anchor has both electronic agreements and payment processing integrated so I could put the services right in the proposal, and set how they should be billed. The customer can add their payment method right to the agreement and pay the invoice immediately. So many problems! We've been able to bring our registration management in house instead of using a custom website as we did before. We've had seamless integrations with our badge printing company and app company so the API will work instead of custom integrations. For some reason, Bill disallowed the use of certain symbols in their Memo section. They used to allow me to use the @ symbol and additional symbols like that, and now they don't. I found it quite helpful to use those and unnecessarily restrictive. I imagine there's a coding reason for it or something like that, but I wished they didn't change that. I also find the Approval process can be confusing at times, because the steps aren't specifically guided as seamlessly as they are in the iPhone app. The app moves me through the approval process really easily and smoothly. A few things that could use some polish: we've run into occasional outages, which doesn't happen too often but could potentially be an issue if I needed to get an urgent invoice out. Lastly, because of how tightly Tabs integrates with our other systems, there are some restrictions on making manual updates or edits, which can be a bit limiting when we need to make a quick fix on the fly. We have been using Eventee to help organise a Summer School. This app has improve our ability to communicate easily to our attendees, gives us a platform to share photographs of the event and allows live interaction with participants through the Q&A function. Our first day implementing Bill360 we had a customer use the "pay now" options and that is already a one time customer that we will not have to reach out to in order to get paid.
