I love how user friendly this program is. We recently switched from WorkBook and I don't ever want to look back because of how difficult it was. BigTime is well organized, I LOVE that I can save things or undo things in a simple click.
I'm still new to using it, but I must say one of my favorite things is probably the connection between BigTime and Quickbooks. I work a lot with Quickbooks, and the fact that things are linked and I can simply click "sync" and information transfers between the two means less duplicate entry work for me, and much less margin for error. I don't mind doing the work in any way, but this has already been incredibly helpful already in alleviating more time for the rest of my tasks.
Also, the fact that they have a live chat for customer service is amazing. And when they're not live, they'll answer you via email very quickly. So far I haven't found much I have disliked about the software. I will say that I wish we could customize some of the categories. It will take some time but "Activity" from our previous software means something completely different than "Activity" in BigTime. The biggest problem I think that has been solved for my workday is probably the amount of time I save on being able to sync things between BigTime and Quickbooks. I feel like I used to waste so much time because I was having to manually enter in data to Quickbooks AND to our old program. Implementation is currently in-process, but we see great potential to solve current work order process confusion and bring greater control to the process including visibility and analytics. Our current work order process is largely manual, so automating it and bringing visibility to all stakeholders will be a big improvement. Also, I was able to duplicate our current travel request process (currently in a different system) and build it successfully within less than 1 day even though the current system was built through coding by programmer and many hours of billable hours. Pipefy has changed the game for our marketing agency. We now handle all requests for service through Pipefy. The intake form we built has allowed our agency to be more productive than ever. We can see and be notified of incoming requests in real-time. We or our clients can set deadlines for each project. The visual "Kanban" view is a game changer for me as a team leader. I can easily see where projects stand and with filters can see what each team member's workload is. The reporting tools allow us to analyze how many projects we complete each month and sort by client and other filters. This has allowed us to provide our upper management with better reporting. Since Covid-19 broke out, our team has reduced due to retirements and departures. Without Pipefy, we could not have been able to complete MORE projects with fewer staff. I like the forum help from nintex community. i like the development in forms using JS and CSS we can do whatever we want to, it is not limited. I like using nintex workflows in automating most of the business processes. I like the way we test the web services in run now section, i use nintex run now function than postman tool to test the web serices. i like the LDAP action on workflows which is useful to make contact with AD easily. I personally think nintex forms would have extended capabilities of talking to web services. The error notifications of workflows are too generic, sometimes they just say error out and failed on start. While developing forms, the labels connected to items which requires validation shows red asterick with break tag in inproper format, if we develop the form in google chrome. Overall, Calrizen One is a great software and now after I use it daily, I don’t know how we managed to work with the old ways of working (eg. Excel). However, there is maybe one downside. As a PM, I work with Engineering, Finance and Supply Chin departments and sometimes I need them to contribute to the information in Clarizen One, however, since this is not the main tool for their departments, sometimes it is hard to make them log in and use the software to its full potential.
Also, when implementing Clarizen One in an organisation, a comprehensive work on shifting the culture towards digital should be completed. Clarizen One definitely reduced the admin work I had. I am now able to generate an automatic project report and not spend hours creating one in Excel or Power Point. I now have one place and system where I can keep track of the project schedule along with risks, action items, non-conformance cost etc. All my internal stakeholders know that they can find the most up to date project status in Clarizen One 24/7 without even having to request it from me. All this definitely allows me to bring more time and value to my communication with the end customer. A real benefit is that once I update my project information in Clarizen One, through the interfaces with the other systems, the relevant information is updated there as well and I don't have to log in to multiple systems to enter the same data.
