The migration support is what truly sold me. I moved over with a stack of domains and mailboxes from another setup, and the team walked me through reconnecting everything cleanly without me having to babysit the process. That alone saved me a weekend of work.

On a day-to-day basis, the warmup network is what I lean on most. I run cold outbound at volume, so I’m constantly cycling in new domains, and the warmup paired with the unified inbox makes it genuinely manageable to operate dozens of mailboxes from one place. Campaign setup is quick, the sequence builder feels clean and straightforward, and the analytics show me what I need without burying the important stuff. What do you dislike about Instantly?

A few API endpoints behave differently than the docs imply, so the first time I wrote a script around them I got tripped up. Once you learn the quirks it’s manageable, but a more complete, detailed API reference would really help. I’d also love the option to activate newly created campaigns via the API, instead of having to switch them on manually in the dashboard.

What do you like best about lemlist?

I’ve been using lemlist for my outbound campaigns and I’m extremely happy with the tool. What stands out the most for me is how everything is in one place. Instead of juggling multiple tools, I can handle prospecting, enrichment, outreach campaigns, calling, LinkedIn automation, and deliverability all within a single platform. That alone saves a huge amount of time.

One of my favorite features is the ability to use conditions inside campaigns. This makes it very easy to build smart, dynamic sequences that adapt based on lead behavior. It allows for much more personalized and effective outreach without adding complexity.

I’m also really impressed with the LinkedIn automation. It’s seamless and integrates naturally into multi-channel campaigns, which makes running coordinated email + LinkedIn outreach incredibly efficient.

Another highlight is the A/B testing functionality. It’s straightforward to set up and makes it easy to continuously optimize messaging and improve performance.

What do you like best about EngageBay All-in-One Suite?

I use EngageBay mainly for email marketing and creating landing pages for our business. What I like most is both tools are available in one place, so I don't have to switch between multiple platforms. Creating email broadcasts is straightforward, and the drag-and-drop editor makes it easy to update content when we anounce new batches, workshops or activities.

The landing page builder has also been useful for collecting inquiries. I can quickly create a page, add a form, and start capturing leads without needing technical help. What do you dislike about EngageBay All-in-One Suite?

The email editor occasionally takes a few extra seconds to load when working with larger templates. What do you like best about Dotdigital?

I love how easy it is to create highly designed, technical emails without having to mess around with code. From the first time I used it, I found the editor brilliant, and it completely changed how I design and build emails. I can integrate Nifty Images elements easily to add creative, dynamic touches, and using the dynamic blocks within the editor is fantastic too.

It’s also great how straightforward it is to train other team members on the platform thanks to its intuitive UI/UX. The collaboration features for email campaigns, forms, and more are really beneficial for efficiency.

What do you dislike about Dotdigital?

Sometimes there are glitches that halt my work. For example, a campaign won’t save for an unknown reason, or images won’t upload to the image bank—again, with no explanation for why this happens.

There have also been times when a couple of team members are in the same campaign at the same time, and one person ends up saving over the other’s progress, which causes work to be lost. What problems is Dotdigital solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's allowed us to produce creative campaigns without that need to code, which has saved us time and money. The flexibility the platform offers has massively changed how we work which has benefitted the business and client offerings hugely. Before we used Dotdigital we would rely on coding each campaign, which always created barriers to our work - but by moving to DotDigital, this removed all barriers, enhancing creativity and changed how we work. There’s a learning curve

The interface is simple, but it does take a few days to fully grasp how to use Sheets, merge tags, and campaign scheduling. Thankfully, the GMass blog and help docs are solid. Once you’re in the flow, it’s second nature.

It’s not the cheapest option

At $25/month, GMass might seem expensive compared to some email tools. But considering the features, flexibility, and Gmail-native experience, it more than pays for itself. Especially when you factor in saved time and increased deliverability.

Test your emails first
