**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I like that it's easy to create forms and add them to web pages. I also find the QR codes feature useful, as it gathers all the information in the database so that we can export it into a spreadsheet. I appreciate that we don't have to pay fees for our organization like those with PayPal or credit card platforms. Zeffy also allows us to ask specific questions such as class, graduation year, or spouse name, which is very helpful. Setting up Zeffy was very easy, with clear instructions on how to set up forms and create QR codes to add to our website.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I would like the marketing platform to be able to import our data of donors that haven't given, but it doesn't allow us to update things like their class year, spouse names, or connect households together.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zeffy to handle donations without fees, which helps our education foundation save money. It also allows us to ask donors specific questions and create forms easily, integrating with our website and using QR codes to streamline donations while maintaining donor trust.

It's easy to use, easy on the eyes, and super easy on the bottom line because there really are no fees.

The only thing I dislike is that I didn't know about it sooner.

We've had really high processing fees and weren't capturing information about people attending our free events. Zeffy allows us to easily set up RSVPs which has increased donations and has kept us in touch with participants so we can let them know about future events, collect feedback, and send them important updates before events.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I really love Zeffy for many reasons. What originally drew me to Zeffy was that my organization doesn't pay fees. Once I started using Zeffy, I found it super easy and intuitive. I set up a 13 item virtual auction that was easy at both the back end and the user end. We also sold tickets to an event on Zeffy and it was amazing how easy and seamless it was. I wish I'd known about Zeffy sooner.

Customer support is highly responsive as well.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only thing I don't like is that I did not receive individual notifications of our Giving Tuesday donations. It took a few days for me to see those donations myself and it was embarrassing that I was late acknowledging the people who contributed.

One other thing: the ticketed event page needs a Pay What You Can option.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the other donation platform we've been using, we're losing revenue to fees. We're a really small charity, so we sincerely appreciate not paying fees! We also love that we don't have to be tech geniuses to operate the platform!

I love that Zeffy has a 100% free model, which means we no longer lose 3-4% of every donation to processing fees, and that money stays with our mission. The interface is clean and user-friendly, solving donor friction and encouraging a 15% increase in recurring monthly donors. The transparency of the voluntary tip model is appreciated by donors. Setting up our first gala ticketing page was impressively easy and professional-looking, going live in under 20 minutes without needing a developer. Zeffy has effectively replaced three separate tools: our donation form, event ticketing, and basic donor database. The initial setup was too easy, making the transition seamless.

There are occasionally minor layout limitations when designing highly custom landing pages, but it does not impact our overall fundraising success.

I understand why the feed is automatically added on. I would prefer that it was not though, as several times people have donated and then gotten upset with us for it.

We have had a very positive experience using Zeffy for membership dues collection, event registration, and fundraising activities.  The biggest advantage is the true zero-fee model, that no platform fees and no credit card processing fees charged to nonprofits, which allows organizations to keep 100% of membership dues and event revenue.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

1. Default set-up with 15% fees, and if the members didn't pay attention, they paid the fees without another chance to review and then ask us for refund.  2. Hard to setup a store with variable prices, ending up using donation template for store.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

What I appreciate most about Zeffy is of course the cost (or lack thereof!). As a small, private school Zeffy has proven invaluable in helping me cover all of my bases from general donations to hosting events, to selling tickets to running a swag shop. 
The payouts that happen on a weekly basis our seamless and make our bookkeeping very efficient.  Most importantly, the dashboard is very self-explanatory!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I have found the filter aspect of Zeffy a bit touchy at times. I would like to be able to add clear and concise tags and that function seems to be disabled.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy has streamlined my workload! I have over 8 different roles that I fulfill in my organization and Zeffy has made at least one of my roles easier.

The weekly automatic payouts you mentioned are built into every Zeffy account. If you want to take bookkeeping further, Zeffy also connects natively with QuickBooks Online so transactions sync directly into your accounting workflow without manual exports.

On tags: Zeffy does have tagging built into the contact and donor management section. If the tag function is appearing disabled in your account, reaching out to support@zeffy.com will get it sorted quickly since it should be available to all users.

Two other Zeffy tools worth exploring for a school environment: Memberships lets you set up recurring membership tiers with automatic renewal, which works well for parent associations, booster clubs, or annual giving programs. Newsletters and emailing gives you a full drag and drop email builder to send campaigns, updates, and fundraising appeals directly to your contact list without needing a separate email tool.

Unlike for-profit platforms that take a percentage away from those who need it most, Zeffy is dedicated purely to supporting nonprofits. I genuinely believe Zeffy aligns with and strengthens every nonprofit's mission.

I have nothing so far. I think I would recommend more plug-ins and partnerships, but I also understand businesses may feel threatened by your mission.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to lose a significant amount of revenue to platforms like Donorbox and PayPal. Those savings now go directly toward supporting more community members and strengthening our organization.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I love keeping all my emails in one place with Zeffy. It's really useful to be able to get in touch with people directly through Zeffy and discuss what I'm trying to accomplish. Even though I'm not the most skilled with the Zeffy email platforms,  the emails I send through Zeffy are much better than the ones I used to send myself on Gmail. I found the setup process with Zeffy perfectly smooth—connecting my bank through Stripe was immediate, and I've never had any trouble with it. I really appreciate that kind of efficiency. AND I LOVE THAT WHETHER YOU PAY A FEE FOR YOUR DONATION IS A CHOICE FOR THE DONOR.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I would like to be able to call someone on the phone and get help directly. I know the world is moving away from that, but I find it's difficult for type my issues into an email - I have MS and am losing finger dexterity-  and I would like to get some live help.

I can keep all my donors in one place with Zeffy, and have two mailing lists for more targeted communication. And I can write more or less beautiful emails.

I was initially dreading changing platforms but the tools at Zeffy made running campaigns so easy. I love the no fees to the non-profit since we all operate on a shoestring budget.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There are a few times the AI system returns really odd "suggested content". As long as you're not just clicking through, it is really easy to correct.

We were able to do transactions with a phone, which was really easy for people to use my phone to tap. I also like using Zeffy because we don't pay for transactions, unlike other platforms like Eventbrite. The initial setup was really easy and took us a day with fewer decisions to be made.

Every feature is super easy to use, and customer service is great. Plus, as a registered charity, it's all free. Honestly we can't believe it's free given how good a service Zeffy is! We love that Zeffy offers so many features all on one platform, and we plan to migrate more of our operations to the Zeffy platform.

Almost no drawbacks so far. The only time we have encountered a problem is creating events which have multiple date options. This is possible, but it seems the user can't select tickets for BOTH dates of the multiple options, only one at a time. This is a very minor issue though and rarely comes up.

Zeffy allows us to run ticketed events and programs, where our customers can buy tickets using a credit card, all for free (the program doesn't take a cut). I also like the support and the buttons in Zeffy. Pulling reports and contacting our donors is easy, and the custom campaign emails are a great feature. I appreciate the templates and the capacity to track metrics once I send out communication to my donor base. The CRM is easy to use and keeps track of our donors. I like being able to perceive who is opening the emails and who is ignoring them, which helps me decide how to reach out to my donors in other ways. Zeffy is really easy to use, and since it's free, it doesn't take a chunk out of our donations.

The only thing that keeps me from saying that Zeffy is perfect is that there is no "pay what you wish" option.  Every transaction has to be for a pre-set amount specified when the link is set up.

Some of our members are not very tech savvy and don't trust online payment methods.

Zeffy allows members to pay dues online which makes record keeping much easier for me. It allows them to pay using a credit or debit card which I can't do normally. It also allows payment to be made wherever they may be. This helps not only with paying dues but also with selling tickets to our events and when we are fund raising.

I don't think there's much I dislike Zeffy. I love that it is constantly improving and growing which is great for our organization. I will say that when I use my phone as a POS for donations, I don't have the option for monthly giving, which I don't know if it's a security issue, an oversight or just something that is still in the works.

When migrating to Zeffy from another source it's often important to maintain historical records. Past donors and amounts, for example. Zeffy can store this info but their reporting doesn't always cleanly capture this historical data. We're still learning how to best navigate this, but this is a struggle.

Cash flow is huge. We're a not-for profit performing group and a major part of our revenue is from ticket sales. Most sites only release tickets revenue to us after the event is complete, but Zeffy's weekly payouts keep our cash flow moving.

I absolutely love Zeffy. Before Zeffy, our organization would struggle to reserve time to take money from other members if they needed to pay their membership dues. It was complicated and involved organizing and recounting money, which often led to errors. It was a struggle to get everyone in one place to capture all the funds. Adding Zeffy made the process much simpler; we can just drop a link for people buying tickets or making dues payments. Everything goes right through Zeffy, right into our accounts, and then Zeffy moves the money right into our bank accounts smoothly and swiftly. There’s no stress for our financial team, and our financial secretary and treasurer can easily access the system to see how much money came in, the dates funds arrived, who paid, and what the money was for. It makes documentation easy, and our financial records are much clearer, more professional, and easy to follow. It also eased the transition for new people taking over treasurer and financial secretary positions. The setup was very easy; it was easy to understand, and I could just follow the questions asked to get everything set up in just a few minutes. I can create links for donations or payments and simply copy and paste wherever I need. People just click the link, and it takes them right to the page. The experience was very smooth and simple.

Occasionally we receive complaints from customers who complain about the fees charged without their consent. These people have sped through the ticketing process and did not avail themselves of the ability to adjust or eliminate the fees.

Zeffy has eliminated the high interchange/financing fees we were paying for our online ticketing and membership fees. It has saved us thousands of dollars. **What do you like best about Zeffy?**

As a small non-profit, it helped us by sending tax receipts automatically. It has been a huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I have to go into each transaction and click several things to find the receipt number to attach it to the transaction in QuickBooks. I do think Zeffy could fix this though and hope they will consider making the receipt number easier to find for accounting purposes.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are very small and don't have a CRM. This has helped us shift away from Excel for everything. The fact that it is free and our information, nor our client information, is being sold, is amazing. It is helping us grow and be better at donor cultivation.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I like that Zeffy is very customer service orientated, which makes it easy to figure out. I appreciate being able to have separate campaigns to track where the money is coming from and which campaign you are fundraising for. The initial setup was pretty easy, and for the most part, it's pretty user-friendly. Of course, having no fees is beneficial to our bottom line.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I would love to be able to use Zeffy for our annual banquet, but Zeffy didn't offer what we needed. We had to use another system combined with Zeffy, which made it more labor-intensive for us. Zeffy is not as robust for the banquet, particularly because we do paper auctions, and Zeffy only offers an online auction option. This made it difficult for us to use it for checkout.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Zeffy makes it easy to track fundraising goals with campaigns.
