**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy gives us multiple fundraising management programs in one place for free! After receiving donations, Zeffy processes them and deposits the money directly into our account. ANother thing Zeffy is fantastic for is when you have an event requiring ticket sales and tracking. Their program is easy enough to use on your phone, and makes checking in guests at an event a breeze. And if you have last minute ticket sales, you can add them right from your phone as well!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I can't think of a single thing that Zeffy does that is a negative. In fact, they continue to improve their programs and offerings.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is a non-profit that was established to offer a multi-sensory music program to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Thanks to Zeffy's approach, we now receive every dollar that was donated to us instead of paying a company a management or processing fee.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We were looking for a way for donors to use a credit card but didn't want to have to pay any fees. There are NO fees for non-profits which is absolutely awesome! When coming to our fundraisers not everyone has enough cash these days so it is so nice to have this option available. I have used it myself several times and it is very simple. I just have people scan a QR code and it just walks them through it to the payment. Love how it sends me an email immediately to let me know that a payment has been received.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Nothing, but I wish more people would use it.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use zeffy at our HUGE church rummage sale mostly. People were always looking for a way to pay electronically and this solved that problem. Some people come without enough cash and this helps them spend more money at this fundraiser, etc.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I love using Zeffy for fundraising as it allows us to easily and effectively collect peer-to-peer funds. The lack of processing fees is fantastic because it maximizes the amount of money we get from each transaction. The ability to send correspondence through the platform for free is absolutely amazing and customizing the platform for our use at no cost is super nice. I also appreciate the flexibility to utilize different types of fundraising, like auctions and ticket sales. Setting up Zeffy was super easy, and we were up and running in a matter of minutes. Overall, the features that really stand out are the minimal processing fees and the customization options.

As a small nonprofit team, we needed a platform that could do a lot without a steep learning curve — and Zeffy delivers. We've been able to raise funds and run campaigns with real ease. The platform strikes the perfect balance: simple enough to get started quickly, but flexible enough to customize for our specific needs without feeling limited. Integrating with our Hubspot CRM by making exports easy is a huge plus, and our external traffic finds the website visually appealing and easy to use. It's speedy and we've never had trouble with accessibility.

The user experience is genuinely intuitive, which matters when you're wearing multiple hats and can't afford to spend hours troubleshooting. Zeffy has taken the friction out of fundraising so we can focus on our mission instead of the mechanics.

I don't really have any additional improvements at this point, but I think I recall not being able to add a 'Buy Now' option for our auction campaign, which would have been really cool!

I use Zeffy to collect peer-to-peer funds effectively, maximizing our earnings with minimal processing fees. I love the platform's customizability, free correspondence features, and multiple fundraising options like auctions and ticket sales.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I appreciate that Zeffy is easy to use, making it simple to track donations, and it saves time and money. I also really like that we can integrate it with our social media by providing the link or a QR code for people to scan. The setup was super quick—it took just a few minutes, and we were able to start using it immediately.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

So far, we haven’t run into any issues, and we’ve been very happy with the results we’re seeing. Our church is really pleased with it too. We also appreciate being able to set up campaigns for different areas of our ministry and designate the funds to each specific area.

I like how straightforward and easy the site is to use. They campaigns are easy to create and share.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

It would be great if Zeffy was an all-in-one site for non-profit needs. I know that's a lot of stuff to put on one company. It seems my biggest struggle overall is finding more streamlined processes where I don't have to go to a different place for different tasks. I do appreciate that Zeffy is working on improving their offerings and that so far there is no cost to our organization to use Zeffy.

They are solving the problem of not taking a percentage of our donations. They are also solving the problem that I can use one platform for our events and our recurring/sponsorship donors.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy's event platform had options available that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Those options allowed me to raise HUNDREDS more on this fundraiser (with an expected income of only $1,500) that it would have otherwise. The Pay What You Can feature is really nice especially because I am in a space where I am trying to raise engagement. Having one, main location for multiple ways to engage through the Organization Page was great, too. A one-stop-shop for Instagram without having to spend  money on another program. Any questions I had were responded to with good information. I felt like I had a whole team helping me to make sure my first event went well.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I had some issues with my emails going to "promotions" or some folder other than an inbox. There isn't currently an option to text folks, and I know that adds a whole additional layer of compliance when it comes to the CAN-SPAM act (in the U.S.), etc., so I'm glad that they are taking the time to do it the right way.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy is a central location for my contacts, my email newsletter creator and my money collection. I had another non-profit owner donate and said that she LOVED how easy the interface was and how the tax receipt was sent out immediately (with out me having to do anything!!). I feel so lucky to have found Zeffy!

As a nonprofit organization, Centro Tepeyac is always looking for ways to make fundraising easier, more accessible, and more cost-effective. Zeffy has been a wonderful resource for our organization.

One of the things we appreciate most about Zeffy is that it makes it possible for nonprofits like Centro Tepeyac to create fundraising campaigns and events without the traditional platform fees that can take away from donations. **What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy has been *incredibly* helpful in collecting both donations from the 'outside' as well as payments and contributions from members. Until last year, our members were still writing and mailing checks! 😱 We tried using Venmo and PayPal, but the transaction fees on those platforms kept cutting into our collections. Our bank also didn't offer Zelle for commercial accounts. Zeffy solved all our problems - it makes it easy to set up pages/links to collect donations, contributions, and payments, and members don't need an account to contribute; just a debit/credit card is enough. Best of all, there are no transaction fees! 🥳 It's solved the problem of people saying, 'I forgot my check,' or, 'I don't have any cash on me'; now, they can just use our link and pay with a card on the spot. Zeffy is also very intuitive and easy to use, even for my technophobic older Club members. In short, it really has been a lifesaver. We owe Zeffy so much more than just our gratitude for all of the help it's given us.

The only feature Zeffy doesn't have that I wish it had is billing or invoicing - it'd be the complete package if, for example, I could send an invoice to my members for their annual dues. But Zeffy says they're working on it, so it looks like that feature is just coming soon!

Zeffy was designed with nonprofits in mind. The platform is easy to use, provides the tools we need to manage donations, fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and event registrations, and allows us to keep more of the funds we raise without the traditional platform and transaction fees.

For a nonprofit organization where both time and financial resources are important, having an affordable, reliable, and user-friendly platform makes a significant difference in our day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There is very little that I dislike about Zeffy. If I had to identify one area for improvement, it would be having even more customization options for forms and event pages to allow for more flexibility for different organizations to utilize.

It has helped streamline our operations by allowing us to manage donations, fundraising campaigns, event registrations, and supporter information through one platform. This saves staff time, reduces administrative work, and makes it easier to track our fundraising activities.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy was recommended to us by one of our board members a couple of years ago. We gave it a try for one of our campaigns and were pleasantly surprised with  how easy it was to set up and how easy it was to run our campaign. We have since expanded our uses for the platform and appreciate the model for charities with no fees. It definitely  has made an impact on dollars raised and available funds to fund research and programs. I

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One of the issues we have run into is that we cannot edit tickets for events after the fact. Sometimes companies purchase a table in advance but do not know who is attending at the time of purchase. We would like to be able to go in an edit the purchase to include guests after the fact. It has proven to be a  very inconvenient problem.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Event registration and management as well as being able to run raffles and auctions online. We have also made use of fundraising pages which has been very helpful.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy makes it incredibly easy for us to manage registrations, payments, and fundraising in one place. We especially appreciate that there are no platform fees, which is a huge benefit for a small nonprofit organization. The interface is straightforward for our administrators and easy for families to navigate, even when they are registering for multiple children or activities. We also love being able to create separate forms and payment options for different events without having to manage several different systems. Overall, Zeffy saves us time, keeps our administrative work organized, and allows more of the money our families contribute to go directly toward supporting our co-op.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The biggest limitation for us is that Zeffy does not currently support the type of registration forms and document signatures we need. We have documents that families need to upload and sign as part of our registration process, so we still have to use a separate platform for that portion. It would be much more convenient to have the entire registration process handled within Zeffy.

Bookkeeping can also be a little cumbersome when discounts or refunds are involved. When a discount or refund applies to a specific item or ticket, the adjustment can be distributed across the items on the invoice rather than staying with the item it was intended for. This makes reconciling transactions and tracking the actual cost of individual registrations more difficult than it needs to be.

These are relatively minor frustrations, but having stronger registration and document-signing capabilities, along with more precise item-level handling of discounts and refunds, would make Zeffy much more useful as an all-in-one solution.

Zeffy has simplified the way we collect payments and manage registrations for our small nonprofit organization. Before using Zeffy, we had to rely on separate systems for different payments and events, which created more administrative work and made it harder to keep everything organized. Zeffy gives us one place to collect payments, manage event registrations, offer discounts, and track transactions.

The biggest benefit is that it saves us time and money. Because Zeffy does not charge platform fees, more of the money our families pay stays with our organization and goes toward supporting our programs. It has also made the payment process much easier for our families, while giving us a more professional and organized way to manage the financial side of our co-op.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy makes it easy to collect and store donor information, send communications, run ticketed events, and manage auctions all in one place. It’s intuitive to use. The reporting is accurate and easy to pull, and customer service has been consistently responsive whenever we’ve had questions or issues. Since switching to Zeffy, we haven’t had a single complaint from a donor or ticket buyer about the payment process. Add in that it’s completely free, and it’s hard to beat.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I understand that Zeffy needs funding, too, but our donors sometimes believe they're donating to us rather than Zeffy at checkout.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous platform generated frequent complaints. Donors and ticket buyers regularly struggled to complete payments, leading to a steady stream of frustrated calls and emails, and probably lost sales. Zeffy eliminated that, while also giving us better reporting and communication tools, all at no cost to our organization. Designing campaigns and emails is also a lot easier to do with Zeffy and looks a lot better as well.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

The zero transaction fees were what drew us to Zeffy primarily, but we continued to use it because of its thoughtful UX. It's easy to train new folks on it and has all the tools we need to run events, collect donations, sell items, and contact our donors while costing us nothing.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Generally, we're happy with Zeffy, but the only thing we dislike is that sometimes there are minimal options for landing page designs. It's basically a color and a photo. It's easy to set up, but sometimes we wish we could move elements around or customize the size of images and fonts. More of a "nice to have" request, not a deal breaker, though by any means, the pre-set designs are perfectly adequate.

Our previous software was clunky and cost so much money. It was expensive and ineffective. Zeffy has saved us money and is much easier to use.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy has been a godsend for us.  We are able to create projects and collect funds, keeping those funds separate.  We do not pay anything for this service, which is an amazing perk for us, since we are a new and very small organization.  We are able to organize our donors and email them with funding requests.  Basically, this meets almost all of our financial needs.  I am excited about our upcoming silent auction.  Donors can scan a qr code and go to zeffy and bid right at the table.  I can't think of a single thing I don't like about Zeffy.  What are you waiting for?  Try it today!

Zeffy is a one stop solution for our non profit to collect funds from our donors.  We love it.  We can take cards on site, we can have people donate by filling out a form, and we can keep track of offline donations by putting them into the system manually.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We are a small non-profit that provides free servicesto our youth and their families, and every dollar counts. Saving money on fees for our donations and fund raising helps us significantly. We can plan our finances easier without having to factor in these fees. Their membership feature allows us an amazing way make our families feel a bigger part of our organization and manage our newsletters and other communications needs. Additionally, it is easier for us to manage selling our merch and other items because our staff can join as team members and manage our sales through apps on their devices and not be reliant on a central account.

With all of the amazing features of Zeffy, the one feature we wish was available was using their memberships to have our families sign into our meetings.

I wish the email settings were a tad bit more advanced. Specifically, I'd love the ability to filter audience members by how many emails they've opened and interacted with so we could initiate reengagement campaigns. While we can currently do that for individual emails, I think it'd be helpful to do this on a larger scale (for example, filtering based on whether they've opened the last #X emails or opened an email since a certain date, while also being able to exclude people who are new to the list).

I'd also love the ability to automate welcome emails for new subscribers.

It's helping us organize our communication with donors and manage events. Having everything in one place benefits me because it makes marketing much easier!

What I like most about Zeffy is that 100% of every donation goes directly to our mission. As a growing nonprofit, every dollar matters, and not having to pay transaction fees allows us to invest more in serving students and expanding our programs. I also appreciate how easy the platform is to use, both for our team and for our donors.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One challenge we've experienced is the cap on credit card donations. When donors want to contribute more than $1,000, they're required to switch to a bank transfer. Many first-time donors are not yet familiar with Zeffy, so asking them to change payment methods can create hesitation and sometimes results in lost or delayed gifts. It also requires additional staff time to follow up with donors, explain the process, and resend payment links, making the donation experience less seamless.

One of the biggest problems Zeffy solves for us is automating donor acknowledgments and tax receipts. Before using Zeffy, I spent hours creating and sending thank-you letters and donation receipts manually. There are a lot of features in Zeffy, but as you use it, you keep finding tiny missing annoying features. At least they do have a "feature request" option. I really dislike the Zeffy extra donation. I understand that's how they make their money, and it makes sense when it's a donation form where the user is engaged and feels in a giving mood, but it is an extra friction for users when we are trying to sell event tickets to a wider audience that might only be looking for an activity and not donation. I would much prefer have the option to pay the actual fees for the underlying transactions in the case of larger events, just to reduce user friction.

We've had an excellent experience using Zeffy for the Gatineau Hills Fiddle Festival. As a small non-profit organization, having access to a truly zero-fee fundraising and ticketing platform has made a significant difference. Every dollar donated or earned through ticket sales goes directly toward supporting our programs rather than being lost to transaction fees.

The platform is intuitive, flexible, and easy to customize for donations, event registrations, and ticket sales. We also appreciate that donors have the option to support Zeffy, allowing the platform to remain free for non-profits without placing any financial burden on organizations like ours.

For 39 years, our Woman's Club used a paper and pencil mail-in application process for our annual craft & gift show. Checks for booth fees had to be mailed to us. Once Zeffy was recommended to us by a local school organization, we never looked back! Our show was completed filled with vendors in 4 days. Before, it took 3-4 months. The payment process has worked seemlessly and the Zeffy staff was always quick to respond to any problems or questions. The functionality is clean and simple! We were able to collapse three paid platforms into one free platform and manage it easily. Also, the integration with Quickbooks is a huge time saver. The bookkeeper love the streamlined reporting. We are molding it into the perfect platform for our organization.

There are not as many 'bells and whistles' in Zeffy as you would find in a CRM fundraising platform, so I really needed to think through how to manage different streams of contributed revenue. What Zeffy does not do, I manage in spreadsheets (which I don't mind). However, I love that Zeffy is continually improving and adding new functionality.

If the only thing that Zeffy offered was no credit card fees, it would be a must have. That said, if offers SO MUCH MORE! Need a CRM? Zeffy to the rescue. Need to send out emails? Zeffy to the rescue. Want to host an online auction? Here's Zeffy! Want to maintain a database that allows multiple user specific tags and means for grouping your donor base? Zeffy to the rescue. Is there something specific that you are looking to do and don't see it on the platform? Don't run. Contact them! Zeffy is ever evolving and will work to personalize your experience. It's amazing.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

If there is a downside to Zeffy, there are features that our organization wanted and we had to wait for implementation. That said, Zeffy is always getting better.

Zeffy handles all of the heavy lifting for us. It saves us so much money on credit cards fees, makes monthly reconciliations easy as can be, we were able to get rid of the platform we used for our email campaigns, we can easily pull up data from previous campaigns and see attendance, fees, and donor info. We use Zeffy for fundraising, donor management and nonprofit CRM. It's one platform that does it all.

I love that Zeffy tracks the donations I receive, whether electronic or cash donations, if allows me to keep a running tally of what donations we have received, then it even sends out the tax receipt. It will save me a lot of time at the end of the year.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

This year I tried to run camps, and the hard part creating a way for the client to sign up and pay for multiple camps at one time. So if a parent had multiple kids that they needed to sign up for several different camps they had to rescan each time, or I have to set up different links for them to charge the whole package. Its not easy on other platforms either. But maybe it is something that can improve.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tax receipts. I still have to check with everyone to see that is it working but that has been the biggest relief I have received. Also allowing for monthly donations without charging me has been absolutely amazing. The program has had so much more financial freedom this year.

I like 2 aspects the most. 

 1. It does not charge me fees to use.  No account fee, no transaction fees for credit cards.  We are a small volunteer group who do fundraisers to help buy equipment for our high school sports teams and fund scholarships for deserving graduating senior athletes.

2. The ability to install their Point of Sale app on a couple of old iPhones has transformed our snack shack fundraising to allow us to accept any tap-to-pay.  It helped us keep up with the payment methods preferred by our customers.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I know the 'gratuity' model is key to Zeffy's revenue model, but I wish I could turn it off on the point of sale on the phones.  I'm selling $2 sodas at a football field, and my customers find the 'tip' function off-putting so we often need to explain that it is a fee for Zeffy not a tip for us and it is optional.

There are many upsides to Zeffy. The very easy way to input all the information necessary for our charitable events, the fact you can design questions specific to our needs especially if you are doing something a bit different. Being able to download a guest or attendees list with the answers to your questions for each person. The speed of payouts.

I haven't actually found one yet but I know that there are many things Zeffy can do that I've not even tapped into yet so I might still find something but I doubt it.

We used to do all our charity events manually so invites would be sent out by email then we'd need to chase payment. Now they are unable to book without paying for it at the time.  We also have any dietary requirements in advance as we can make these mandatory questions instead of having to follow up. This obviously saves us a massive amount of time.

Zeffy takes zero fees, which is not a small thing for an organization our size. When a neighbor gives $50, we receive $50. The 3–5% we used to lose to platform and processing fees was real money, and it's now going into housing vouchers and food instead. It has also made asking easier, because I can tell a donor honestly that their whole gift reaches the work.

The second thing is having everything in one system. Donation forms, event ticketing, automatic tax receipts, and donor history all live together. I'm a founder and executive director without administrative staff, so receipts going out on their own and being able to see donor and revenue data in one place instead of reconciling three tools and a spreadsheet saves me hours I don't have.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The reporting is fine for what we need now, but it's fairly surface-level if you want to slice donor data more than a couple of ways.

The voluntary contribution prompt at checkout is also worth naming. I understand why it exists and I support the model, but it occasionally confuses our older donors, who aren't always sure whether the extra amount is going to us. I've had to explain it a few times.

The core problem is leakage. We're a small nonprofit doing chaplaincy and direct-care work in New Orleans, and on our budget, losing 3–5% of every gift to platform and processing fees was money coming directly out of programs. Zeffy eliminated that. Over a year, the difference is measured in actual housing vouchers and grocery cards for our elderly unhoused neighbors, not in a line item.

There's a trust benefit too. Being able to tell a donor plainly that 100% of what they give reaches the mission changes the conversation. It removes a hesitation people don't always name out loud, and it makes the ask feel less like a transaction.

We used Zeffy to handle registration and payments for our staff reunion this year. Before that, we were collecting money through PayPal and Venmo, which meant fees were eating into what people paid and there was no easy way to see who had registered or paid at a glance.

Zeffy solved both problems. We use it for ticket sales, keeping our attendee list organized, and it automatically sends receipts, so we're not manually confirming payments or building our own spreadsheet from scratch. Since our reunion runs on volunteers, not paid staff, that simplicity mattered. Nobody on our committee needed training to use it, and we kept every dollar attendees paid, rather than losing a percentage to fees.

I haven't used Zeffy for fundraising, only for the financial and record-keeping side of running our event, but for that purpose it's been reliable and easy to hand off to volunteers.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Getting Stripe verification set up through Zeffy required an EIN and formation documents, and the legal name had to match my IRS letter exactly, punctuation included, or it triggered a manual review delay. That's more a Stripe/IRS requirement than a Zeffy design flaw, but it was a hurdle to work through.

Zeffy also has many facets. It took me a while to sort out which features were built for a small reunion like mine versus larger organizations with more advanced fundraising needs.

Both of these are minor and stem from my own inexperience with fundraising platforms, not shortcomings in Zeffy itself.

Since I'm organizing a reunion, not a fundraiser, I used Zeffy to create an online landing page for attendee registration. What I have really liked best about Zeffy, is not only affordability but the fact that I have a voice and say into how the platform develops and improves.  I love that I can suggest an improvement or change and then have other customers vote on it and I can vote on items I feel are at the top of our priorities for the organization and ZEFFY listens!  They actually take these suggestions and put them in the roadpath for development, no other donation platform does this!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Only downside, and I completely understand where Zeffy position is on this, but sometimes I feel that our organization is not branded enough on the platform and being in the US, sometimes wording is not typical for what we use in the US, but this is a very minor downside compared to all the upsides.

Seamless online donation platform, that has the versatility to execute events, auctions, merchandise sales, email blasts and more.  This has made my job easier in that I do not have to look for, sign up or pay for another platform to perform these functions. **What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We are V2C Inc, a small US 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we process donations through Zeffy. What drew us in was the promise that 100 percent of every donation reaches us, with no platform commission or processing fees deducted. After several months of real donations, that is exactly what has happened.

Embedding the donation form on our website was straightforward, and it works cleanly on both desktop and mobile. Tax receipts are sent automatically to donors, which saves genuine administrative time for a team our size. Zeffy sustains itself through optional donor tips at checkout, and that model feels honest because it costs our mission nothing.

For a small nonprofit where every dollar matters, Zeffy removed a cost instead of adding one. Recommended without hesitation.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The embedded form is an iframe, so styling control is limited. It works and looks clean, but we could not fully match it to our site's typography and colors, and responsive sizing took some trial and error to get right.

Zeffy makes it very easy for people to transact donations to our Family Education Center (FEC).  And, because we are a non-profit organization, the fact that the transactions do not result in any fees levied by Zeffy, that makes using Zeffy a no-brainer.  We have been happily using Zeffy for nearly two years at this point.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One thing to be aware of about Zeffy is that they aggregate all of the donations throughout the week and only send them to our bank on a weekly basis.  We would appreciate if this process could be revised to at least a twice-weekly schedule, so that we will have the donated funds available in our bank sooner.  And so that we can complete our accounting more efficiently.  Other than this one concern, Zeffy has been a perfect fit for our needs.

I love that Zeffy is a 100% free platform, which has saved us a lot of money since we started using it. I'm thrilled with how it listens to user input and improves based on what users ask for. I'm really excited about the nonprofit-specific pages they offer, as I can direct clients there to check out events and pick the ones they want. One of my favorite things is the dashboard, which allows people to register for events and subscribe. I also appreciate the recent addition that lets us send emails directly from Zeffy, making it look like they're coming from our domain. Zeffy has continuously improved over time, and I've been with them for over two years, and I'm just thrilled with the progress.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I find there are a lot of limits on the setup, which frustrates me. It's tedious having to repeatedly add things like Facebook links unless using a duplicate template, and some email features aren't intuitive. It feels challenging for those who aren't tech-savvy, making it hard for them to get started. While Zeffy offers tools and training, this can still be intimidating for new users. I've noticed it takes a long time for some volunteers to feel comfortable using the dashboard. Additionally, I'd prefer if Zeffy could integrate better with Google Sheets and other products from Google. Google offers nonprofit grants and free tools that Microsoft has rescinded, and it's problematic that only one person can be assigned admin privileges, which complicates matters if they leave.

I love that I can set up multiple campaigns - including events  and sent out unlimited communications to my community.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

It would be nice more customizable options within the campaigns; for example one campaign that I sat up I would have liked it to show how many seats were purchased instead of having campaign total dollar amount needed. 

This particular campaign allowed donors to sponsor a seat for a woman who would be attending our conference. The total dollar amount would be equivalent to $7900. I would have been nice for the campaign to show " Five Seats Sponsored" or " 60 Seats left" instead of the dollar amount. The impact was found in the seats that need to be sponsored. Other than this I have NOT one dislike about Zeffy!

Zeffy is resolving the fundraising platform, streamlining donations, donors and attendees, and email communication. It is also solving the issue of high fees charged by other platforms.

The fact that we are a non-profit trying to put on an event for 200 people, selling tickets, collecting the money, and getting the tickets to the buyers was the last thing I wanted to do as a volunteer. I had used another ticket site the year before, and a friend from another nonprofit suggested Zeffy. The other site charged a fee. That is reasonable; there was a lot of work on their end, especially credit card fees, but when I saw Zeffy did not, I did not believe it, but it was true. They offer the ticket buyer the option to pay the fee, but it is suggested, not required. That was a great way to work. I loved it.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Well, I had a problem. It was the first time we put on this event and had NO idea how many tickets we were going to sell. The hotel suggested the smallest room, 60 people, and if we sold over 60, we could move up to a bigger room. Well, I didn't want to move to the bigger, more expensive room if we only had 63, but if we had 80, then I would. So I wanted to create, like, a STANDBY list. When that got up to 20 people, I would get the bigger room and contact those people and see if they still wanted to buy a ticket. It worked, sort of by creating a different kind of ticket with $0 as the price. Only two people signed up for it, so it did what I wanted it to do, but the running number reports I was using included those 2 non-$ tickets, and it was very confusing to keep track of.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oh man, all I had to do was publish the ticket-buying suite, and people went there, said how many, and paid their money in various ways. I got instant reports, was able to design my own ticket with my own graphics, and all I had to do was go to the bank and see how much was deposited by Zeffy with no fees!!!

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We came to Zeffy a few years ago mainly because the fees of PayPal and Wix were getting out of hand. The model took some getting used to but we did it. We grew with Zeffy as well. When we came, it was simply a payment and event platform. Now their communication and database tools rival the largest companies, all free for non-profits. As they become more useful, the more likely we are to stay with Zeffy, so it's a win/win. The main thing that has kept us with Zeffy, however, is the customer service. Anytime we have had an issue, the response has been swift. I actually know the names of the folks who work at Zeffy. This makes a huge difference for us.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

As I mentioned, we have grown with Zeffy. There have been some stumbling blocks along with way with functionality. However, they have worked to fix all of them. For instance, the automated email before our membership renewal time was causing great confusion and I was about to leave. This year, they have fully customized that communication. Problem solved!

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fees were the main issue. We are now taking advantage of event planning, database management and communications. Keep the features coming. I hope one day we can do EVERYTHING through Zeffy.

Zeffy is a great one-stop-shop for our small non-profit. We love that fees are not taken out of donations, memberships, event ticket purchases, etc. Automatic emails to remind people to renew their membership is helpful, as well as the ability to send donation acknowledgements automatically. It is simple to use from the administrative side, and easy to use from a customer perspective.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Some customers feel they are required to make a donation to Zeffy at check out, and that is frustrating on their end. There needs to be a clear opt-out feature for users. Zeffy also does not recognize that a member who renews at a different giving level is still a current member. For example, if a member initially gave at the $100 level, but renews at the $50 level the next year, it will still send a reminder for the donor to renew, even though they already have.

Zeffy helps with sending tax acknowledgements and consolidating our membership and donor database into one location.

As the founder and Board President of Children's Holiday Magic Project, Inc, I can say that Zeffy has proven to be the best non-profit database system we have ever used.  Not only is it free for the non-profit to use, which is awesome, but the Zeffy team is quick to answer questions and find solutions to any issues we have faced. It is more "user-friendly" and intuitive than any program we have been a part of as well.  The team and I at Children's Holiday Magic Project are grateful every day for this relatively new option, and we have sent many referrals to like-minded charities that have, in turn, thanked us profusely.

Everything we have used on Zeffy has been so easy; it truly is hard to say something we dislike.

I am using Zeffy to plan events/sell tickets for my organization and have found it very intuitive and flexible. I know that others in my org use it for different kinds of fundraisers, donation campaigns, apparel sales, etc and I am impressed that it seems to work for all of us. 

Most recently I needed to create an event with many different ticket types and it was really easy to manage and set up was quick because I was able to clone ticket types.

I also like that the Zeffy page can function as a promotion for the event itself because it is highly personalized. Otherwise I would have had to create a separate landing page for the event and just embedded the zeffy link. This saved me that step.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Haven't discovered anything to complain about yet, but I am a relatively new user.

Zeffy is a great fund raising program. I find it easy to import membership lists divided into various groupings. Templates make it easy to craft messages for different types of fund raising activities from membership sales to event tickets. The major feature is the zero cost to the organization which results in us receiving all of the funds raised.

There is very little about Zeffy that is negative. . The learning curve can be a bit steep but over time it becomes easier to use.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy allows our organization to communicate much easier with or members. The imported membership lists allow us to quickly communicate with our members both for fundraising and general newsletters. The feature that allows members to make donations is easy to navigate and the fact that Zeffy does not deduct a fee and that there are no credit card fees charged is wonderful/

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

We have recently made the switch to Zeffy and we're still learning a new capabilities but so far it has been excellent for our small non-profit organization.  It has helped us streamline and manage memberships including being able to accept credit card payments without taking a cut to out of our limited funds.  We have started using it for event ticketing and will be doing a test run of the Free POS system shortly.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Like anything new, it takes a little bit of time to adjust and ride the learning curve.  We worried that some of our members would be opposed to the online payment system.  We are still running our old systems and methods of payment for anyone who wanted to still pay that way, but so far we haven't heard any complaints!  So far the only thing that I think could be improved is how Zeffy requests the donation near the end of the transaction.  Sometimes members think they are donating to the organization and not to Zeffy, so we need to continually explain that.

We used to have to chase people to pay their membership fees or wait for them to attend an event in person to renew.  Zeffy makes that process so much easier, allowed us to put the renewal on our website and people can even set it to auto-renew!

Zeffy has provided our organization the opportunity to have a wider reach and impact with the various tools for organizers found on the website to include creating and sharing campaigns and events, email communication, and the tool to build your website. I am most excited about the website feature as I have been putting off building our website for quite some time, and Zeffy just made my life 100 times easier with the option to create a .org page. I can't wait to start working on that. I also do not consider myself very savvy as it comes to navigating technology, but the Zeffy interface is so user-friendly. I am hooked.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I am bummed that Zeffy did away with the option to help nonprofits file for 501c3 status. Although I understand why this is no longer an offered feature, I was hoping to utilize the platform to file for another 501c3 for another organization I run. The process was so straightforward and simple. Other than that, I have been so incredibly happy with the Zeffy platform and all that it offers

We are a small non-profit that hosts 4 or so events per year. We tried a couple of WordPress plug-ins for event registration which proved to be difficult to use, very buggy and came with very little documentation or support. Other online platforms were far too expensive for us. Zeffy is incredibly easy to use and their customer support far exceeds anything I've experienced anywhere. Zeffy continues to add new features and updates existing features in ways that are meaningful and helpful. Zeffy has been a real win for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Zeffy has really improved their email capabilities to compete with services like Mailchimp, but so far there are a couple of key pieces that are still missing, notably the ability for users to update their email preferences. There are also some some limitations way that CRM information is uploaded or entered. But I know Zeffy is working on these and other issues, so I have no doubt that improvements are coming.

We were looking for a low-cost solution for event registration and Zeffy hit it out of the park. The time that I need to spend setting up, tracking and trouble-shooting registration is a fraction of what was required with other solutions we've tried.

Versatility - the fact that it is ticketing software, a CRM and communication tracker for our customers/donors. And as a charity, its one less thing we have to worry about raising money to pay for.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The fact that a donor/customer cannot contribute to more than one campaign in a singe payment transaction. for example - Someone that wants to buy tickets to an event and also to a raffle at the same time. 
Really, this is the only thing that I wish Zeffy would find a way to solve with shopping cart set-up or something. I was hoping that was what the org page was going to be for but I don't yet see that capability.

We are able to keep track of all our donors and communicate with them seamlessly and all in one place with Zeffy. This keeps everything centralized. **What do you like best about Zeffy?**

It is easy to use and meets our needs.  We have used it for collecting donations, meeting registrations, and as a platform to sell items.  I am not an IT person but I have found it very easy to use.  Inventory tracking is easy, even if you don't have them pay through the tap to pay or electronic system.  The details that it provides for meeting registrations is accurate and easy to download into Excel for manipulation.  I would highly recommend it.

It doesn't allow a lot of creative design but we've adjusted to it.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tap to pay for Android phones was a nice addition to the i-phone tap to pay.  I would like to see registration by person with a cost and the ability to add meal registration under that person with an additional cost that would total.  Right now the only way I can figure out how to do this is to make a registration by meal and then add each person.  It's a bit cumbersme.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy is a very easy platform to use for our initial registration process for our event. Our budget for this event is right around $100k and using Zeffy has saved us around $4k in credit card fees each time we've used it (this is our 2nd year). It is very easy to setup. It is also easy to offer refunds when necessary and we don't have to worry about losing out on those fees. We also utilized Zeffy to refund a portion of registration as a scholarship gift.  The Evergreen District also used Zeffy for our 2025 District Convention. Zeffy also works great with getting the funds from Zeffy to our own bank account and being able to set the time (weekly or monthly) of deposits.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

With regard to Harmony College NW, Zeffy does NOT integrate with our Sched platform. While we use Zeffy for our initial registration, we have to manually add those registration into Sched as Sched is our primary scheduling program for our three day, 8-session conference.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because our event and organization is fairly small, we don't have a big budget to absorb a number of fees.  Because Zeffy saves us close to $4k in fees, we can put that difference back into our event in other areas (faculty, special activities, etc)

Finances section has streamlined our way of reviewing donations and seeing futures of upcoming donation. It was simple to setup, while being guided step by step. The biggest part that I like the most is the no fee's to use the platform. This shows how Zeffy really cares about your campaigns which allows all campaigns to achieve their goals faster, while supporting your mission.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The landing page for our campaigns seem too basic, when trying to project the feeling of the organization. We believe that having a more robust options to design the landing page to fit like your making a webpage.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to streamline out online donations portal and to get up to the times with technology. The platform has completely taken over the tax forms for us! With each donor receiving an email for their donation, while repeat donors get one at the end of the year. Smart, efficient, and loving it!
