"Divi 5 Is a Game-Changer: Intuitive Visual Editing with World-Class Support"
What do you like best about Divi?

Divi 5 is an absolute game changer for web designers. The new Flex and Grid system, the Variable Manager, and the revamped Theme Builder give you full creative control without writing a single line of code. The visual editing experience is incredibly intuitive, and the responsive design tools make it easy to create pixel-perfect layouts across all devices. Divi 5 feels like a completely new product while still keeping everything familiar for long-time users. On top of that, the support is world-class – patient, thorough, and genuinely dedicated to solving your problems. For me, there's simply no alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

Honestly, there's very little to complain about. Since Divi 5 is still in its beta phase, there are occasional minor bugs – but that's expected and the team is actively fixing them. The support is always there to help with workarounds until a proper fix is released. Nothing that would stop me from using Divi as my go-to tool for every project. "Divi’s Visual Builder + 2,000+ Layouts: A Powerful, Great-Value Website Builder"
What do you like best about Divi?

Divi is a powerhouse in the WordPress ecosystem, blurring the line between a theme and a full website builder. Its standout feature is the Visual Builder, a front-end drag-and-drop interface that allows you to design pages in real-time without touching a line of code. This makes it incredibly accessible for beginners, while its deep design controls satisfy advanced developers. The included library of over 2,000 pre-made layouts is a massive time-saver for getting projects started quickly. Easy to implement and great customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

However, Divi is not without faults; it can be "heavy" on performance, requiring fast hosting and optimization to load quickly. There is also the issue of "shortcode lock-in," meaning if you ever switch themes, your content structure may break. Despite this, the lifetime access pricing model makes it arguably the best value for money for freelancers and agencies building multiple sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Intuitive WordPress Builder with Stellar Community"
What do you like best about Divi?

I love Divi's flexibility and the huge variety of modules it offers, making it a great base for all our WordPress website builds. The integration with key plugins works well, and clients find it easy to navigate their own site updates. The backend navigation is very clean and intuitive, saving a lot of time in client training. We love the quick and easy variations for mobile, tablet, and desktop views, which save a ton of time in testing and building sites. The initial setup with Elegant Themes was super easy. What do you dislike about Divi?

Sometimes we need to revert to CSS to override some of Divi's functions to create the customization we want. The media library with optimized images means you have two versions of every image showing - it's unnecessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Website Builder with Stellar Community Support"
What do you like best about Divi?

I like the Divi community and the wealth of plugins and themes, which extend usability. The support and design choices available in Divi offer more options than the native, built-in WordPress themes, which often come with limitations and very basic options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

The contact form could have enhanced spam protection and have a built-in SMTP somehow. As it is, the contact form has had issues sending with shared hosting environments for some users such as myself. It took several weeks to really get up to speed using Divi as a theme and page-builder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Elegant Visual Builder with Room for Ecommerce Improvement"
What do you like best about Divi?

I really love using Divi for building WordPress websites because of its intuitive and powerful visual builder, which easily outshines other market options like the Gutenberg editor that is shipped with WordPress. Divi's visual builder simplifies complex web design, making the process significantly more efficient and enjoyable. I appreciate Divi's excellent SEO optimization, which helps my websites perform better in search engine rankings. Its performance optimization tweaks ensure smooth operation, and the beautiful icons enhance the visual appeal of my projects. Divi also offers a lifetime license, which is a fantastic value as I pay once and get to use it forever. This kind of licensing is rare in the market and adds great value. The inclusion of templates significantly accelerates my workflow by allowing quicker deployment of new websites. I find Divi's recent addition of a marketplace, where I can purchase additional features, a clever expansion that broadens its functionality. The marketplace is quite elegant, fittingly in line with Divi's aesthetic and usability standards. Additionally, Divi is lightweight considering its capabilities, making it perfect for many years of use. Finally, the setup process is straightforward; once you make a purchase and upload it to your WordPress site, it works out of the box for most setups, ensuring a smooth integration into my projects. Divi's combination of design versatility, performance, and ease of use makes it a standout choice for WordPress site creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

I find Divi's capabilities lacking in the eCommerce domain, where there's not much happening that could benefit from improvement. The contact form feature is also not perfect, specifically its integration with reCAPTCHA, which could be improved to provide a better user experience. There is also issue with the caching sometimes. Additionally, there are sometimes issues with portability, especially when moving from one domain to another, which can be problematic. Lastly, while Divi should usually work well with WordPress, it sometimes faces compatibility issues with other plugins, which needs to be monitored closely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent WP builder with amazing customer support"
What do you like best about Divi?

I have been using Divi for years, this builder is easy to learn to use it, and if there's something you don't know, the support team always responds quickly. There's also a great community around Divi as well the forums. Elegant Themes have been always on top with updates, and new features, they always listen to their clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

Not every software is perfect, sometimes the builder can slow down while you are building the page, Elegant Themes has improved that with frequent updates and websites tend to load faster now. Divi Marketplace can be expensive with some of their third party offerings, watch out for those yearly subscriptions renewing at full price after the sale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Been working with divi for years, and support from the folks at DIVI is amazing"
What do you like best about Divi?

No coding. Well CSS stuf if you need to, but coding html and javascript is dated when it comes to most websites that are build for SME's out there. The extensive possibilities, automatic alignment and layouts for different devices is super. Besides application speficic, there's no way that you can code against this for most websites.

A note about support: I was setting up a specific blurb as a 'floating featured section' for my company website. I was well underway but ran into some esthetic and layout snags. I've contacted DIVI support for the best approach for this. I was so impressed with their skills. They help me tweak up to the last detail and making it look correct on different viewports where it was supposed to behave differently. And you receive a video explanation on how they do it.

I have a weakness for craftsmanship, and I can truly say these guys are magicians when I comes to tuning layouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

Nothing, as long as you know what your'e doing. I've seen people drown in building their own website for weeks. The good/bad thing with Divi is that anything is possible :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If "staying true to the tribe" was a company...."
What do you like best about Divi?

I would have to say their work ethic innovation and tenacity is the best thing about divi, Because without their team absolutely crushing it and providing content updates and improvements, they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have as a leader, even despite the detractors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

The fact that divi 5 isn't released yet as of right now.

In the past some of my biggest gripes which I hope have been solved in this new update that's coming have had to do with problems with accessibility and speed optimization but speed optimization has drastically improved for the output of sites it creates and my understanding is that the new update will even more dramatically improve the performance of the builder itself. "Always super fast support"
What do you like best about Divi?

The ease of use and the incredible support that's provided by the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Divi?

In some places, such as the form module, you cannot change the H tag for the success message. This then adds a H2 tag randomly through the content when using a sidebar for a newsletter signup. Not the end of the world but just wish we could change it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
