What I like best is the limitless creative freedom. Once you’ve mastered the platform, the possibilities for creating unique, high-level engagement are endless. It’s not just about "games"... it’s a sophisticated engine for gathering valuable customer insights and first-party data. I love how it transforms passive observers into active participants, giving us a goldmine of information while the customer has a great experience. And I have to mention their chat support. The learning curve is steep but you’re never alone. Their team is incredibly fast and helpful, which makes it so much smoother. It’s world-class service for a world-class tool

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

I’ll be honest: Playable has a steep learning curve. It’s not a tool you master in five minutes, and it requires a bit of "heavy lifting" at the start.

But once you get over that initial hump? The payoff is incredible.

When you unlock the full potential of the platform, you realize that the possibilities for driving customer engagement are virtually endless. It’s no longer just about "content"—it’s about creating interactive experiences that people actually want to spend time with.

The real magic, however, lies in the data. Beyond the fun and games, Playable is a powerhouse for:

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Playable solved for us was limited flexibility and siloed data.

Before playable we used a tool that was very rigid, offering only two campaign types: a standard personality test and a quiz. We quickly hit a ceiling. Playable, however, offers everything you can imagine and more. With dozens of different game mechanics and engagement formats, we are no longer "stuck in a box."

How it benefits us every day:

From Passive to Active: We’ve moved from just "showing" content to creating interactive experiences that people actually want to engage with.

The CRM Game-Changer: This is the most critical part. Playable integrates seamlessly with our CRM system. This means that we can with every insight, preference, and data point we gather during a campaign is automatically synced. We can now act on customer data in real-time, which has completely transformed our personalization strategy.

Actionable Intelligence: We aren't just collecting names; we are collecting valuable first-party data. This helps us understand our customers' true intent, allowing us to send the right message at the right time.

Playable makes it genuinely easy to launch engaging, on‑brand campaigns fast. The onboarding is structured and hands‑on, the chat support is responsive, and it’s always simple to jump on a quick screenshare to resolve questions if needed. The templates/ games are flexible enough to hit different goals (engagement, lead capture, education) without needing engineering time. Knowing that Playable takes security and compliance seriously is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

Nothing major. Visual fine‑tuning can occasionally take an extra review round, and the first time you map fields or set up integrations there’s a small learning curve, but support is quick to guide you through it, so it doesn’t block launches.

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playable turns static forms and one-way content into interactive experiences that people actually want to finish. The result is higher participation, better data, and more qualified follow-ups. Overall, it drives stronger engagement and cleaner data with less effort on my end.

I love all the different options and games you can work with on Playable, and the variety of games lets me match the format to the goal, which keeps campaigns fresh and creative without needing a developer. The Playable platform is super user-friendly, making it intuitive and easy. Also, the staff is always ready to help, providing great support.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

The integration with our setup in Salesforce was challenging, requiring a workaround with a webhook. It would also be nice if there was more flexibility in the design, so custom games or raptor integration pages wouldn't need to be specially designed.

**What do you like best about Playable?**

I really enjoy how Playable offers loads of different game templates that are very easy to create. The amazing support team is always ready to help out in real time during a campaign, which is invaluable. I appreciate being able to tailor the campaign to each audience with all the different types of games. It's easy to extract leads or connect to different platforms, and using it helps us reach our customers in a more personalized way, resulting in better engagement and an increased number of leads. Also, the initial setup was very easy, I encountered no issues.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

I don't think there is anything big. Maybe the templates could be more flexible with adding new components, but it is possible, just sometimes is a bit confusing. Overall, it's a great gamification platform.

Playable makes it easy for us to set up and launch games quickly, and the seamless information transfer from our app to Playable without manual registration significantly enhances the experience. The Playable dashboard is excellent for tracking registrations and winners. We appreciate that Playable has no limits on what we can achieve; their tools can bring any game concept to life. The vast library of game templates is incredibly helpful, providing a solid foundation for both simple and complex games. This library has transformed our workflow by drastically reducing the time from ideation to launch, allowing us to build and test campaigns faster. The smooth integration and automated user login have had a huge impact on our engagement metrics, and managing participants is very efficient through the Playable dashboard. The initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

We would love to see more focused API connections for mobile apps. While the platform is great, making it easier to embed games directly into an app's native flow, rather than opening a web link, would be ideal. We haven't fully explored this path yet, but having a more plug and play API setup for native integration is definitely on our wishlist.

**What do you like best about Playable?**

I really appreciate how responsive and solution-oriented the Playable team is. They’re always quick to help and happy to adjust the platform to fit our specific needs — even developing custom integrations when necessary. It feels like they genuinely care about making things work for us. On top of that, the platform itself is very user-friendly and easy to work with, and their website is packed with clear guidelines that make everything run smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

I can’t really think of anything to dislike. Everything has worked great so far, and if any issues come up, the team fixes them right away. And I can always contact my main contact for help or guidance.

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a globally managed membership database that’s quite difficult to connect with external tools. Playable made it possible for us to link our games to this database anyway, thanks to their flexibility and technical support. As a result, we now have the opportunity to incorporate gamification into our marketing efforts.

What I like most about Playable is that there are so many options. You have a wide selection of games and you can fully customize them. This offers many possibilities and you can actually do almost anything you have in mind with it. We also created a game in different languages for the first time using parameters, which appeals to me because it allows us to truly reach everyone among our guests.

Actually, not really things that don't work well. But otherwise, I don't really have things that I think could be better.

The platform UX, easy to use and the chat support is amazing. So you are never in a dead end theres always help available. The platform is very intuitive, and it can do A LOT. And the support from your customer success manager is also great. They help a lot with inspiration on how to build your campaigns best, focusing on the full funnel.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

Not much. I appreciate the platform a lot. The display of your campaigns on the frontpage. It only shows 5 at the bottom of the page. I want this to be my first view. So a full list of all my campaigns. If i click show all, i want it to show more than 10 by default.

**What do you like best about Playable?**

Playable gives us the ability to develop some of our campaigns into engaging games on our website. We can use these games to build engagement on our website, customers can enter fun competitions to win prizes and boost the brand image. It is also really easy to use, it has a page builder that helps us to develop the games and style these depending on our mission, or suppliers mission. It integrates really well with HubSpot to capture data and opt-in.

The game library is great, there is lots of games to choose from that you can style with your own or supplier branding to make some really great looking games.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

It can be a little confusing and difficult to use sometimes, but there is lots of content and support available for when I wasn't sure. 

Although the game library is really big, more game ideas would be cool, as we are building games with Playable all the time.

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playable gamification is effective for boosting our engagement and time spent on pages. It also improves the CTR from social media and emails, as the games are more engaging than usual emails. We are able to work with suppliers and partners to collaborate for some great games, boosting our engagement and brand awareness. It is a great channel to use in a marketing campaign for us, such as Summer or Easter, even Christmas!

I have been using Playable for almost two years as part of our loyalty strategy to drive app engagement. The initial onboarding experience was seamless, thanks to Sam, and with time we expanded from having one team member to three capable of independently building games on the platform. Playable stands out due to its exceptional customer service and robust platform, which influenced our decision to choose them among various gamification platforms. Setup was straightforward, requiring only a scoping session with our tech team to ensure smooth integration, and the game-building process itself is quite self-explanatory. The support network at Playable is incredibly helpful. They are always available for any inquiries and guide us whenever needed. The gamification capabilities of Playable are pivotal for driving user engagement and allowing demonstrations of commercial value to our partner brands, leading to a win-win scenario for all stakeholders involved. Our integration with a mobile app, CRM system, and data warehouse allows us to report, analyze, and understand user interactions seamlessly, which has significantly benefited our workflow. The interface is intuitive and gives a lot of possibilities for branding yourself exactly as you need with all the functions. I also really like the chat function and that you easily get help from real people.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

As a B2B company I have found it hard to use the CVR lookup ability in the sign up form, since it i slow and does not always allow a user to find the business they are looking for. If this one could be improved, it would really up the B2B game of using Playable!

It is helping us interact with our customers and potential customers in a whole different way than otherwise possible. I also see that it builds a relatinship and loyalty to some of our subscribers, which is worth a lot.

Playable is a very clever platform that helps companies get started with gamification. It provides a wide selection of games suited to various needs, and many of these can be tailored to match a brand’s identity. This makes it an excellent choice for businesses looking to gather customer data, grow their email lists, or automate prize distribution for larger-scale games. For those interested in analytics, the statistics dashboard offers a clear overview of game performance, which is always appreciated by marketers. Once you become familiar with the platform, it’s straightforward to use, and if any issues arise, the help center is comprehensive and customer support responds quickly.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

The interface can sometimes be confusing, particularly when it comes to figuring out where to make edits. Certain settings are adjusted at the top level and apply account-wide, while others are found within the game settings or the visual game editor. Even after spending some time with the platform, I still occasionally have to pause and ask myself, "Wait, where do I edit this?" I can easily see how a new user might find the experience overwhelming, especially if they're worried about accidentally breaking something. Taking the look and feel of the games up to a brand standard can therefore sometimes be a little tricky.

Some of the games are also a little limiting and there's often a certain same-ness to the games between users, so I find it obvious when other companies are using the platform. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but I could imagine customers/users could grow a little tired to "all of the Playable games."

It would be great, for smaller companies, to be able to buy into one game, rather than having to subscribe to the platform.

Our customers mainly rely on Playable to automate the distribution of prizes, securely manage signups, and engage as well as educate their own customers.

The campaigns are easy to implement and adjust, which helps save both time and costs and makes the overall process more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

It would be great to have a wider variety of games and increased flexibility in the campaign settings. For example, in the tapping game, it would be helpful if there were options for more than one tap image in a sequence. Similarly, for the place-the-item campaign, allowing more than two categories would make it more versatile.

It makes it easy to engage with our customers by allowing us to create something quickly and enjoyably, while keeping creative costs to a minimum.

**What do you like best about Playable?**

I love the variety of games Playable offers. There’s something for every type of campaign. The ability to save campaign templates is a huge time saver and makes it easy to keep brand identities consistent for future campaigns. Playable's custom Autofill Formular feature has also made things much quicker and easier for participants, which really improves the overall experience. Last but not least their support chat is fantastic at helping me solve any issues I run into.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

Editing quiz questions and feedback can be a bit time-consuming, since you have to take the quiz yourself to check each change. The image dimension limits can also feel a bit restrictive at times. Would feel more intuitive if you could edit the game flow in the front-end instead of back-end.

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playable helps us reach potential donors and share information in fun, engaging ways. It’s also a great tool for communicating with both new and existing supporters, as well as people interested in the charities that we work with.

I love how intuitive the platform is and that it is easy to make workarounds for the games. 

I enjoyed the onboarding process a lot and the helpful support as well as customer success manager. 

The network possibilities at campaign-labs.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

There is nothing I really dislike about Playable - but inputs could be;

Sometimes, it would be nice if the support knew or showed more CSS-hacks for when we think out of the box.

The statistics could be even more intuitive - sometimes I find it hard to figure out the conversion rate as it's based on sessions. It would be cool if you could chose that it should be based on unique sessions. 

And then it would be nice with an easier way of uploading prizes, pictures (field-pictures), etc. at the christmas calendar (one excel-sheet for it all) :-D.

Playable makes it more easy to use the platform across in our business. It gives us a wide range of possibilities to make high quality gamification initiatives. It also helps us on the strategic side of it (CSM reports and meetings).

Playable's templates speed up development, and the interface is generally user-friendly. It integrates well with our existing setup, allowing us to run engaging campaigns with minimal hassle. The support is great and on the odd occasion we encounter any problem, we can get support within minutes. We use Playable every month and are seeing some great results. Generally the layout builder is an easy interface to use when designing games. Sam has been a great contact and is always willing to hear our feedback as a client.

While the templates are useful, they can sometimes feel restrictive when trying to create something unique. More flexibility in customisation—especially around animations, layouts, and interactions—would be a big plus. Also, having better documentation or support for advanced configurations could help speed up development. We have found the back end game settings can be a little hard to navigate with some settings being very manual (i.e bulk delete registrations).

Also allowing us to customize our data integration to our ESP is great.

It's nice that the Chat support is fast to respond and effective in troubleshooting and finding solutions.

I have not experienced this first hand, but our games team have communicated some elements of the game mechanics are not intuitive. Having to set aside time for mechanic immersion can be a roadblock in the games E2E process.

Playable makes this process simple and very well suited for the scale that is key in retail media. Their work with retailers means they have a good understanding of product needs in data and scale where they continously innovate. Customer service is superb.

If the aim is to custom develop a game from scratch then I would look elsewhere. However the dynamics of games are very well defined here. The actual license price is not easy to see.

**What do you like best about Playable?**

The Playable platform is very easy to use and has a wide range of options/game styles for different types of games, depending on the main KPIs.

The support is second to none, they get back with answers very quickly and are very knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

Nothing to note. Pricing is always competitive.

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to go to market very quickly when there's a need.

- Good value for money: fix costs & unlimited usage
- Variety in options
- Very good service level (Customer Service, sales, account manager)
- easy to implement & use

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

- Some game logics could be more optimised / have more room for special features

**What problems is Playable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase Engagemant & fun for customers, USP for games like drop game  (no standard in the market)

I really appreciate the openess of the team I am working with, their flexibility and willigness to support. The tool itself is very easy to use, and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Playable?**

Maybe to add a bit more flexibility when it comes to games creation (images sizing etc)

Playable is ensuring having proper gamification elements within our loyalty program
