What I like best is the limitless creative freedom. Once you’ve mastered the platform, the possibilities for creating unique, high-level engagement are endless. It’s not just about "games"... it’s a sophisticated engine for gathering valuable customer insights and first-party data. I love how it transforms passive observers into active participants, giving us a goldmine of information while the customer has a great experience. And I have to mention their chat support. The learning curve is steep but you’re never alone. Their team is incredibly fast and helpful, which makes it so much smoother. What do you dislike about Playable?

I’ll be honest: Playable has a steep learning curve. It’s not a tool you master in five minutes, and it requires a bit of "heavy lifting" at the start.

But once you get over that initial hump? The payoff is incredible.

When you unlock the full potential of the platform, you realize that the possibilities for driving customer engagement are virtually endless. It’s no longer just about "content"—it’s about creating interactive experiences that people actually want to spend time with.

What do you like best about Playable?

Playable makes it genuinely easy to launch engaging, on‑brand campaigns fast. The onboarding is structured and hands‑on, the chat support is responsive, and it’s always simple to jump on a quick screenshare to resolve questions if needed. The templates/ games are flexible enough to hit different goals (engagement, lead capture, education) without needing engineering time. What do you like best about Playable?

Playable makes it easy for us to set up and launch games quickly, and the seamless information transfer from our app to Playable without manual registration significantly enhances the experience. The Playable dashboard is excellent for tracking registrations and winners. We appreciate that Playable has no limits on what we can achieve; their tools can bring any game concept to life. The vast library of game templates is incredibly helpful, providing a solid foundation for both simple and complex games. This library has transformed our workflow by drastically reducing the time from ideation to launch, allowing us to build and test campaigns faster. The smooth integration and automated user login have had a huge impact on our engagement metrics, and managing participants is very efficient through the Playable dashboard. What do you dislike about Playable?

We would love to see more focused API connections for mobile apps. While the platform is great, making it easier to embed games directly into an app's native flow, rather than opening a web link, would be ideal. The platform UX, easy to use and the chat support is amazing. So you are never in a dead end theres always help available. The platform is very intuitive, and it can do A LOT. And the support from your customer success manager is also great. They help a lot with inspiration on how to build your campaigns best, focusing on the full funnel. Not much. I appreciate the platform a lot. The display of your campaigns on the frontpage. It only shows 5 at the bottom of the page. I want this to be my first view. What do you like best about Playable?

Playable gives us the ability to develop some of our campaigns into engaging games on our website. We can use these games to build engagement on our website, customers can enter fun competitions to win prizes and boost the brand image. It is also really easy to use, it has a page builder that helps us to develop the games and style these depending on our mission, or suppliers mission. It integrates really well with HubSpot to capture data and opt-in.

The game library is great, there is lots of games to choose from that you can style with your own or supplier branding to make some really great looking games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playable?

It can be a little confusing and difficult to use sometimes, but there is lots of content and support available for when I wasn't sure.

The initial onboarding experience was seamless, thanks to Sam, and with time we expanded from having one team member to three capable of independently building games on the platform. Playable stands out due to its exceptional customer service and robust platform, which influenced our decision to choose them among various gamification platforms. Setup was straightforward, requiring only a scoping session with our tech team to ensure smooth integration, and the game-building process itself is quite self-explanatory. The support network at Playable is incredibly helpful. They are always available for any inquiries and guide us whenever needed. As a B2B company I have found it hard to use the CVR lookup ability in the sign up form, since it i slow and does not always allow a user to find the business they are looking for. For those interested in analytics, the statistics dashboard offers a clear overview of game performance, which is always appreciated by marketers. Once you become familiar with the platform, it’s straightforward to use, and if any issues arise, the help center is comprehensive and customer support responds quickly. What do you dislike about Playable?

The interface can sometimes be confusing, particularly when it comes to figuring out where to make edits. Certain settings are adjusted at the top level and apply account-wide, while others are found within the game settings or the visual game editor. Even after spending some time with the platform, I still occasionally have to pause and ask myself, "Wait, where do I edit this?" I can easily see how a new user might find the experience overwhelming, especially if they're worried about accidentally breaking something. Taking the look and feel of the games up to a brand standard can therefore sometimes be a little tricky.

Some of the games are also a little limiting and there's often a certain same-ness to the games between users, so I find it obvious when other companies are using the platform. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but I could imagine customers/users could grow a little tired to "all of the Playable games."

It would be great, for smaller companies, to be able to buy into one game, rather than having to subscribe to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
