**What do you like best about Karbon?**

The management of the week and communications. The views of the work to track our workload.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

The translation is not yet perfect, filtered views are limited in terms of column customization and information. It is possible to add items to our calendar but not to modify them (you have to go through the calendar provider directly) and the management of communication policies is still very deficient to this day.

Better overview of everyone's workload. Better view on billing/collection.

I appreciate the comment section available for both internal and external teams. Additionally, I find the AI feature that helps generate an appropriate tone for emails to be quite useful.

I have no complaints about Karbon. Each feature has proven to be extremely useful in my work.

The reminder feature for work tasks assigned to each client is extremely useful. It allows me to keep track of my workflow efficiently and set priorities as needed. Additionally, being able to update the status for each client is also a valuable tool.

I like Karbon for its organization. I find the template work templates really helpful to hone in the workflow process and adjust as needed when things change. It's great how Karbon can adapt as legislation and rules change, making it really valuable for keeping things on track.

Still learning but I like the automation features, however getting them to work properly and having visibility of when email are automatically going out is difficult

I have been on Karbon for a month, have been assigned 3 different success managers and still have not had an onboarding meeting. It is really hard to setup karbon properly with no help, die client portal is confusing to me and clients, the work templates automates things and I am not sure why or how to change some of them

We recently became a new Karbon customer.  We decided to utilize the Guided Implementation to facilitate the onboarding setup.  I wanted to complete the onboarding as soon as possible, so we could be functional in a short amount of time.  The implementation team was wonderful.   Our representative was very knowledgeable about the product, and was clear and concise in her instructions.  She guided us through the building platform in a very logical order.  In a matter of a few weeks we were ready to function on our own.  While we still have many things to learn and discover, we are at a functional level.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

At this early stage, I am loving everything about Karbon.  I believe it will allow us to centralize all our task in one easy to use platform.

Karbon will eliminate multiple emails, and improve our staff to staff communication.   Karbon will help organize and unify out completely remote practice.

I use Karbon for time entry, communicating with clients, and organizing work at the office. I like that it helps me stay organized and is user-friendly. I really value being able to allocate client communication to specific file work.

I don't like clearing my triage as I like going back to my emails in Outlook. The initial setup was a bit overwhelming, but the training helped.

What stands out most about Karbon is its seamless integration of communication and workflow management. The ability to manage emails, tasks, and client work all in one place is a game-changer.

Another standout feature is the workflow automation. Recurring tasks, client reminders, and status updates can all be automated, which saves time and reduces the risk of things slipping through the cracks.

The implementation took some time to prepare, but I received the support from the team which made the implementation easy.

One of the challenges is the learning curve. New users may find it overwhelming at first, especially when trying to fully utilize features like workflow templates, automation, and reporting.

So far, the onboarding has been well-assisted and seamless. The team are embracing the new software and loving having everything consolidated.

So far so good - no complaints! We have not come across any major issues - more just learning the best practice in the new software.

The number of filters by which we can sort out the data which is required to use for the organization is the best thing.  Being a manager, it's important to look for specific data of a specific employee, and Karbon does the best job in filtering it out for us.

It would be great if Karbon could introduce multiple Inbox features like the one we have in MS Outlook.

It is highly recommended.

The tiring workload to prepare different reports was a problem. We can now get them with just a click of some buttons. Karbon functions save hours and we can invest our time in something more productive.

Karbon is a user-friendly platform that works as a combination of your e-mails, To-Do Lists, Clients and Contacts details, Work and the most amazing thing is that it allows you to collaborate with your team and keep on top of your work. It's a work management system with so many cool features!

I'd book a demo to see how the platform works - I think Karbon can be used by different businesses from different industries and it has some cool integrations - e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Xero, Quickbooks, Google Sheets etc.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My To Do list was growing so big at one point that I was struggling to keep on top of my tasks and time management. Karbon has resolved this for me - I am now able to organise my work day, week, months and even create recurring work that I need to go through and complete on regular basis. When a colleague was away and I needed to help their clients with a query, I wasn't sure where to start and this often created confusion not only for me but also amongst my team. With Karbon you can see everything and help your clients much easier, it really benefits the client experience and makes our work more professional and response time way quicker.

It helps with workflow management, being able to remove excel spreadsheets from our job management systems.

I cant get rid of Microsoft Outlook calendar at the moment. It will only let us view 1 day at a time when I can plan staff work a week in advance using the calendar which is more better visual representation for work they will do.

It is good for knowing where people are at in a project. There is ease of transfer of projects if there needs to be. It was easy to learn for our new hires. It is used on our audit team all the time.

I don't know how to clear stuff out of cleared which I find annoying. I also don't like the outlook intergration feature, I don't feel like it translates smoothly.

At first you will be overwhelmed with Karbon's extensive features and flexible workflows. Setting up templates, workflow and task management takes time. Pricing is also to consider when choosing Karbon.

Karbon helps in missing deadlines thru centralized work management with clear owners and due dates. It also helps in better planning of the firm as it helps in real time dashboards of work statuses across the firms, no more chasing client' status updates.

The triage feature for emails and team communications is a massive time saver. Templates for work flows, and the ability to assign, view, review and action items with simple views and filters allows us to easily have a complete picture of where our workflows, outstanding actions and capacity scheduling for resource planning.
Karbon provides us with visibility over all aspects of our accounting business including communications with clients; assigning actions and status; workflow creation, scheduling and monitoring; project management; creating efficiencies and more. The new Practice Intelligence has provide even more valuable insights into our data and how we operate leading to reduced wastage and more profit. Timesheets and Billing are simple to use and allow us to efficiently monitor budgets, pricing and team member efficiency.

Nothing we dislike. Karbon is continually enhancing the product.

The triage feature for emails and team communications is a massive time saver. Templates for workflows and the ability to assign, view, review and action items with simple views and filters allow us to easily have a complete picture of where our workflows, outstanding actions and capacity scheduling for resource planning. We save hours of time per day and have eliminated many unnecessary tasks leading to improved turnaround times for work, less rework , less cost and less unbilled scope creep.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

Easier to know what jobs to work on. The triage feature is quite useful. Customer support is great. We also got a great walkthrough to better understand how the features work in Karbon and it's been extremely helpful to track projects and make sure that we are on target for our busy season deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Clients being able to access their documents and file when we send requests out. It's improved since we started to use Karbon. But, it can still use some improvement.

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon is helpful with tracking efficiency and it's easy to setup budgets and review actual time entered for projects. It's also great there is a timer feature for tracking time. It's easy to know what jobs we are working on. When they are due and if we are going under or over budget with the time put into projects. We've been able to better track projects through our deadlines and it's quite easy to update on the status of projects and track based on tasks completed from staff where we stand.

Control and oversight: With Karbon I can see my staff tasks and execution and completion on time... I could know how to control the incoming workload..

I am unable to move files from e mails to dropbox... At the moment this feature is if work item is created first and then we can access dropbox... I will surely like to know how it can be done right from your triage...

I can comment. Earlier I could only go back to my communication channel such as sms or whatsapp as to what instructions I have received or given to my staff. Now I can see on every e mail what we are saying....

The addition of API's and integrations with software programs that we use has been invaluable. The newest exeamples are Stanford Tax and TaxNow. Its portal "Karbon For Clients" is the best portal that I have ever seen in the marketplace to communicate with our customers.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

Still waiting for Box and Zoom Phone Integration.  Chats with customers need the ability to be captured on the customer's time line. Billing has been slow to develop to have the features we need so that module can be used by our firm.

**What do you like best about Karbon?**

My favourite feature of Karbon's is its workflow system and the email integration. In particular, I like that I can see my status on a job at a glance and that I can make notes and tag coworkers on specific jobs/tasks.  For email, I like that I can action and organize instantly. The search function is also really great!

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

We like that email is integrated into Karbon but dislike that there is no grammar support. It would be nice if an auto-correct system was implemented within the textboxes.

**Recommendations to others considering Karbon:**

If you are losing track of your emails and workflow, then Karbon could be your fix!

**What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Karbon allows my firm to prepare for the upcoming week/month/year extremely well. 
File-sharing can be difficult at times, Karbon acts as the perfect bucket for shared files.

The major benefit is being able to go to one spot for everything!

I love the seamless integration between Karbon and Microsoft Outlook, which ensures all client communication is effectively tracked. This feature greatly benefits our firm by enhancing communication, both internally and externally, leading to a better client engagement process. I also appreciate the ongoing updates and priority on customer service, which give me confidence in the product’s future improvements.

I find that the integration with Outlook isn't as easy or effective when it comes to writing emails in Karbon compared to Outlook. It would be helpful if more formatting features were readily available when using Karbon.

Love the continual innovation including the recently launched approvals, esignatures, and AI features.  The team has leveraged AI for those difficult client emails.

**What do you dislike about Karbon?**

We rely on Karbon to manage our practice, and it does an awesome job.  I do have to purchase a CRM for my tech stack as Karbon has not seemed to develop a ton in that area.  I don't need a lot, but being able to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients is critical and Karbon does not facilitate this.  

The mobile app has been neglected.  The simple act of being able to access my contact list is still not a possibility on my phone in the app.

Team collaboration, client communication, workflow management.
