We also got a great walkthrough to better understand how the features work in Karbon and it's been extremely helpful to track projects and make sure that we are on target for our busy season deadlines. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** Clients being able to access their documents and file when we send requests out. It's improved since we started to use Karbon. It's also great there is a timer feature for tracking time. It's easy to know what jobs we are working on. When they are due and if we are going under or over budget with the time put into projects. Just amazing. The customer support is also fantastic - any issues are addressed quickly and all the support staff are always super helpful and friendly. We could not do what we do without Karbon. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** Karbon's new time and billing functions can be a bit buggy and there are some improvements in the works that still need to be made, but I'm sure once everything has been rolled out fully there will be no issues. **What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of workflows and keeping down email volume. Although we have chat software that we can use as a team, I love that I can mention someone in my work and have everything in one place. UPDATE: Karbon is now incorporating AI into their platform and it comes in handy! For those TLDR emails Karbon now includes a nice summarize button which usually hits everything dead on. For those of us that struggle with composing emails, you can compose a draft and there is now a feature to change the tone and modify the draft for you! UPDATE 11/19/24: One thing I originally disliked about Karbon was for the client request, you could only send those to one individual. Karbon has since updated that and we can include multiple clients on the request! I am in love with this feature! Additionally, we now have a new way to view triage/emails. If you are a gmail user you can setup your account to display the same way or if you prefer Outlook style then you have that option. Also with my firm onboarding new employees and clients this has been a great tool for the entire team to collaborate in one place! **What do you dislike about Karbon?** One feature that I love is the client sections and being able to request information right from my work item. The downside to that is that if I am reaching out to one person but need to CC someone on the task as well, that option is not available. Also, if I am working on a particular task, any email or supporting documentation can easily be attached to the timeline by me and my colleagues as well who may be collaborating with me. It also allows me to stay on task by creating work items for miscellaneous work as well as any payroll I may need to process on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. ### 30. We also love being able to schedule emails, put the newsletters into low priority and save emails into later so that we can often during the working day easily attain zero inbox, which leads us to feel efficient and on top of growing workloads. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** Sometimes I lose an email - it's usually because i have not filtered it and allocated it to the right place the first time I correspond with someone. This is a huge factor within our business as we wish to be safe when sending sensitive information to clients. It would also be good to have a secure step before sending emails such as - have you checked the client's email address - this ensures that the emails that we are sending are going to the right addressee. **What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Karbon has solved some of our biggest workflow and communication challenges. Most of its design is created in such a way that allows new users to navigate through all of the different features it offers. As someone who started a job and took over the management of Karbon it was very easy to implement its programing into my everyday schedule. I especially like that you can find whatever answer your work order you are looking for from many different paths. **What do you dislike about Karbon?** Reaching someone in customer support is very difficult and once you do and tell them your problem you are informed that they are aware of the problem and will have it fixed shortly but have found that it can take months. I even brought an issue to them back in 2023 and was informed they were working on it and then as of last week that issue or change has not been implemented. I also dont like that the system does not automatically regocnize that there is already a contact in the system with the exact same name but under a different category and it allows duplicates to occur making tracking our clients that much harder as you cannot merge a business with a person profile. **What problems is Karbon solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is allowing us to keep tabs on our clients through various different work types and track other employees clients as well when updates are needed. It also holds us accountable for our work and offers trackable communication through our multiple office locations. ### 47. The first one is their Assignments page. Currently, it's a little hard to assign and understand the "use" of that page. Secondly, the "Notes" in the My week.
