"Great in theory, falls short in practice"

What do you like best about LedgerSync?

Ledgersync worked great for a couple of months fetching bank statements from my clients' accounts. However, with the bank connections constantly changing I needed to have my clients update their accounts at least monthly. It's easier, from my clients' perspective, to just ask them to send me their statements once a month or use Quickbook's new bank statement fetching feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LedgerSync?

The part that really bothered me was that Ledgersync did not allow me to cancel my account on my own and continued to bill me after I removed all clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LedgerSync?

When it works, it will automatically download bank statements and save them to Dropbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LedgerSync?

Ledgersync has full access to view any documents and transactions that are downloaded using their service. There is NO client data privacy to be had.

The system is also quite buggy and frequently mislables which account/period statements are for. Dropbox integration is quite inconsistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LedgerSync solving and how is that benefiting you?

It was supposed to automate the retrieval of client statements to save us from having to log in to each account every month manually. Still, in practice, it was so inconsistent and buggy that it was more efficient to do it all manually rather than trying to determine which accounts had correctly downloaded and which had not.
