**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

I enjoy the workflow options. The make client onboarding and transitions flow smoothly for the client and my team.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

I would like to see more options to accept client payments. Stripe adds more work on the backend.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When potential clients reach out to me for services the oganizers and job features allows me to automate my onboarding process. Customers get the feel for the system and that things are coming to them at specific times while I am doing work in their background on their account or on another clients account. The secured messaing and document uploading, I'm using less programs/ apps to accomplish the work.

I like that almost everything I need to monitor my client's communication and workflow is all in one place. I don't need to use multiple tools anymore to accomplish this.

There are so many features in the tool it can be a bit overwhelming getting familiarized with them.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TaxDome addresses multiple problems, including 
- tracking the status of all tax returns easily
- CRM for client contact and communication
- document management for all client and company documents
- billing system integrated with my accounting software
- workflow management with automated responses and reminders eliminating time-consuming follow-up work
- customizable tax organizers, engagement letters and invoices

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

TaxDome is an amazing software that solves multiple problems within our tax firm. Once you do a deep dive into the TaxDome world and set up your pipelines and automation with a number of features that ease the implementation of providing excellent customer support to our tax clients. Frequency of Use is continuous and we will never prepare another tax season without Taxdome. They gave our company and clients peace of mind and professionalism that was a had huge impact in our company's growth.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

The only downfall is not being able to differentiate each employee without purchasing a new user name.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TaxDome Solved Many Business problems by offering:

Secure storage and easy upload of documentation. 
Organizing the returns, so we can visually see the position they stand in real time. 
Being able to charge ACH and Credit Card Transactions. 
Consistent communication between the client and the preparer. 
Uniforming the standard procedures that are required of each return before it is filed. 
Allowing the client to esign and have access to their account and documents.

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

I began using TaxDome 14 days ago and my experience has been phenomenal! I was so impressed with the organizers and the automations! The organizers contained all of the questions that need to be asked to tax clients, whether an individual or a business client. I loved most that we can set conditions on questions so clients don't have to answer questions that don't correlate to their circumstance. 

The automations were amazing as well!! Not having to manually send clients proposals and invoices makes the onboarding process so much more efficient. No to mention, the automations will keep clients updated about the status of their return at all stages. 

The engagement letters are also superb! They contain all of the necessary verbiage to outline what services clients are receiving and not receiving. They also contain key language that protects me as a business owner by clearing outlining the terms of the service. 

Again, as a new user of TaxDome I am very impressed and there's so many other features I haven't explored yet!

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

There is nothing that I dislike about TaxDome. It's a really great product!

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TaxDome is solving a few problems for me. TaxDome is removing so much of the manual process from my workflow. No longer do I have to search on external sites for proposals and contract agreements. I can now invoice my clients and collect payment all in one place. The automations are absolutely amazing! The ability to auto send engagement letters, proposals, invoices, reminders, status updates, and so much more is just fantastic!

What I like best about TaxDome is its comprehensive suite of features tailored specifically for accounting professionals. From seamless onboarding pipelines to secure client messaging and email, e-signature capabilities, customizable engagement letters, and an extensive template library, TaxDome simplifies and streamlines various aspects of accounting practice. It effectively combines efficiency, security, and convenience, empowering firms to enhance client satisfaction, optimize processes, and elevate their practice to new heights.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

I wish that TaxDome had features to allow dynamic, automated engagement letters and services based on client questionnaire answers. For example, allowing services to be added based on Account Tags or something similar. 

Additionally, it would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to begin one pipeline from another. For instance, having an onboarding pipeline that ends with beginning a tax return preparation pipeline, or similar.

Gathering information, getting signatures, onboarding, engagment letter signatures, etc

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

I been been hopping from software to software looking for something for my tax and accounting firm. I love this it offers a better way to communicate with clients and all the automations ive been looking for to free up more time. I dont have to spend hours preparing proposals for clients i can literally send them now while on the call with a few clicks. keeping me and team organized, clients can see where we are with their process so they dont have to call asking a billion times etc.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

nothing so far, i thnk its great, initially i wanted the appointment scheduler included so clients can easily schedule a paid consult without having to go outside the platform but its ok!

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i can easily manage my clients their files and communications. send marketing emails in bulk. Work flows that we can all keep track of and the jobs feature so  client work can be separated

Let me first say how incredibly impressed I am with the Taxdome system- I’ll tell ya, you guys are brilliant developers and in these last couple of weeks with the trial, every single time I get to a point where I think to myself, “yeah, there’s the thing that nobody can do for us”, I find a solution for that very thing in Taxdome. I’ll go so far as to say, it’s difficult to believe that you guys fully realize just what you’ve done here for the tax and accounting industry- developing something larger than yourselves, because this is art.

Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ll be subscribing in the next couple of days- I can't wait to fully integrate Taxdome into my processes.

P.S. The update in December 2023, allowing the admin to fill out the client’s organizer on behalf of the client, from the firm side, is a game changer. Just Wonderful.

Absolutely Nothing. This is a seriously brilliant system.

Honestly, Taxdome is helping to solve so many pain points and issues for my firm that I won't try to cover it in this review. It's a total game changer folks- if you are even thinking about scaling your practice or taking it virtual, or even partially online- get this system. It's THE BEST out there - by a long shot. Believe me, I've tried them all.

I have been struggling with customer management, consistency with communication and just overall being organized.  I am confident that TaxDome will get me there and help me become more sucessful but working smarter and not harder.  Wish I had found this 7 years ago.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

It may take a little bit for me to get it customized and setup to work the way it should and the way I want it to, but I can say that even though I just started using it less than 6 hours ago, I am further along with it than I am with another CRM that I have had for 2 years, amazing that I have my sanitity still.  I am a WIP for sure.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization and effective communication is the one thing that has almost made me quick doing taxes and bookkeeping.  I used to be a very organized person, but with time and age, it isn't as easy as it was.  Now I feel like there might be light at the end of the tunnel and I can see it.

The automations are amazing. It is the main reason I chose to go with Taxdome. The fact that it integrates with my tax software is a big plus as well. The customized portal site is a good pro as well. There are so many apps that can be integrated that it's really a one stop shop for any tax company.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

The only thing I dislike about TaxDome is that you have to pay your license in full upfront. But hey, at least I don' t have to worry about it for a while.

For me, everything is one place and I absolutely love that. The CRM that comes with my tax software is always glitching and the use of TaxDome is going to streamline that process for me.

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

TaxDome simplifies the communicaation between the firm and clients.  Starting up and configuring TaxDome was pretty ease but took some time at first.  I will continue to tweek it as I move through the automations.  So far, customer support was great in answering my questions and finding the answers to the questions they couldn't immediately answer.  The follow up from customer support has been amazing and the emails from them each day during the trial to set up you for success has been vital.  There are so many features that I haven't even starting using yet but I can't wait to use this system everyday and really build my firm with TaxDome.

I really wish TaxDome would make it so that I can send Uncategorized transactions to the clients through TaxDome from Quickbooks.

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

Tax Dome has many features that allow users to automate their business if desired while also having the simplicity to make setup hassle-free. It creates value by reducing the time needed to organize, allowing users to be more productive.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

One thing I did not enjoy about Tax Dome was the inability for clients to tag their uploaded documents. For instance, if a client uploads a W-2, they do not have the ability to mark it as a W-2, which would make things easier to find.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I had prior to Tax Dome was a large client base without a proper way to organize them. With Tax Dome, I can view a list of every client, their current status, and who is working on what.

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

The more time I spend in Tax Dome, the more I learn how much TaxDome can do for my practice.  Also, the trainings and videos are built super efficiently.  The trainings were really built with the trainee in mind.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

Since it can do so much, it takes time to get these systems personalized and setup for your particular practice.  I suppose there's no other way around it.  However due to time contraints, I will not be using everything that Tax Dome has to offer at this point.  But I will be using many features; just not everything yet.

The client portal is excellent.  In my previous portal, i had to download a pdf to look at it.  In Tax Dome, you click on the pdf and it shows the pdf quickly within the web browser.  No need to download anything!

What I like most about TaxDome is that it is all encompassing platform for me and my clients. I love how I can manage and automate tasks. I am exhausted by the need to get so many different applications to run my firm. Now I have 1  place with all the applications I need. TaxDome really does deliver on this promise. Client request forms, portal for shared documents, workflows and checklist, e-sign capabilities, proposals, and basic CRM. And unlike other SaaS companies, they have taken the time to provide valuable customer support and comprehesive video tutorials.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

While you can merge .pdfs in TaxDome, I like to create a single PDF with bookmarks to all the relevant client documents for a tax return. Perhaps a stronger pdf editor might be useful, especially if integrated with AI to automatically bookmark client documents!

Providing all the SaaS tools I need in one product to conquer all the basic functions required for a tax and accounting firm.

At the moment, the billing and invoicing feature is what I like best. Integrated processing solutions include ACH for bank draft (from checking or savings, without a debit card). Being able to lock client documents with an invoice is also convenient and helps with collection.

The reason I purchased TaxDome is for the Pipeline and task managment features, which I haven't been able to successfully implement. I have made mutliple attempts and have spent hours trying to learn. Just when I think I have it figured out. . . 

At any rate, I look forward to getting those features figured out and implemented. I know it will increase my productivity and decrease errors and inconsistencies.

Billing and payment collection; TaxDome has integrated invoice and billing solutions that are easy to use and competitive with other vendors.

Customer support is via chat. Chat is not useful if you need specific help to perform a setup or function. You can scroll through a database of videos to find the help you need. But it's time consuming. You can schedule an one-on-one. However, availabiity may not be right away.

I love that I can set up pipelines with automated tasks such as sending out contracts, sending out organizers and requesting payment.
I also love being able to lock my client documents to their invoice, so that they have to pay to look at them!
Taxdome is so receptive to user requests and is constantly updating and improving the product. I am able to prepare so many more tax returns, as my admin time has been reduced to a bare minimum.

There are a few things that need improving, but Taxdome takes user input very seriously and is constantly improving and updating the system.

I used to spend ages per return emailing clients, checking for responses, payments, signatures etc and then sending further emails. Now TaxDome does all of that for me and moves the client through the pipeline, alerting me when I need to take action.  I no longer spend hours on back-end admin tasks, but can focus on the tax preparation and customer interface. Each year the process gets more streamlined and easier.

Its hard to narrow down the best feature of the software.  It is an all in one software that serves as my external client communication messaging software, document sharing portal, e-mail hub, and CRM.  It does all of these things 10/10 when set up properly.  It automates most of these tasks and it allows my firm to be lean and streamlined.  I literally communicate with clients daily with the use of this software,  I really couldn't picture our firm without TaxDome. It was the absolute best decision I've ever made in my practice to embrace this software and make it our backbone!

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

The only thing about TaxDome that isn't 10/10 is that it is above average in terms of difficulty to set up, that is because it does so many things that getting them to work together is a slight challenage at first. When you master the product it makes the slight diffculity in setting up a distant memory!

Client Portal is amazing, it allows my clients to easily share documents with us even from their phone.  The messaging feature is invaluable, it stops constant phone calls to our firm which was getting overwhelming and a big time waster.  It has so many built in features (billing, autmoations, and CRM) that once you get it dialed in it replaces admin workers!

I wasn't really using any practice management software before trying TaxDome.  I did a few free trials, and here's what I liked about TaxDome relative to the other options out there:

- Pricing is very straight forward and pretty fair

- The feature set is broad, making other subscriptions unneccessary

- It's an end-to-end solution that can integrate and automate pretty much the entire client cycle (new client onboarding, proposals, engagement letters, payment collection, workflow management, document management, client portal and document delivery, e-signature, Google review requests, etc.)

- The service is continually improving, adding features and making things easier

- So much of the program is customizable so that we can set up the systems and processes in the way that makes sense for us

- The support is robust and easy to access.  They have lots of instructional blog posts and pre-recorded content on most every topic and the live support is easy to schedule, too.  I'm confident that when I run into issues, there will be either self-helf support or live support to help me along the way.

Not only do I like what TaxDome can do, my clients have commented on how much they like the new system.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

There are a few things I preferred about the competition:

- Their proposal system doesn't yet include being able to offer three different packages (like Practice Ignition), but they are scheduled to add that functionality by June 2024
- Their IRS transcript service doesn't seem as robust as what Canopy offers but tax resolution isn't a big part of my practice so I'm not too worried about that.  Also, it's possible that this feature will improve over time, too.

Also, because there is so much that can be customized, there is a bit of a learning curve.  There are lots of templates, but we've gone through and modified most everything to fit our small firm.  Make sure you allot enough time for getting things up and running.  I think this would apply to most any of the other solutions out there, too.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main reason I started looking at TaxDome and its competition was for improving our workflow management.  In prior years, I had just been using a spreadsheet to track our various projects, and that just wasn't getting it done.  After I started researching workflow management solutions, I found that I wanted an all-in-one solution like TaxDome both for cost management as well as continuity through the practice.  It's working pretty well so far, and I'm sure we'll tweak it to improve it as we go.

Customer Support has been exceptional, even during the trial period. Integrating TaxDome was easier than I expected, thanks to their fantastic integrating team!

The learning process is very overwhelming.  Wish I had heard about it before tax season began.  I am also older and come from a generation that prefers phone/zoom contact.  I think they should allow for atleast 2 45 min sessions via zoom.

I like TD since everything I need is under one application. Portal, client communications, proposal to engagement letters and payments, workflow automations.  Clients can also download TD app on their phone where they can communicate, scan/upload docs etc. The application is easy to use, compared to others I've tried in the past.

Unfortunately, TD Drive does not sync with Mac OS; only Windows.  TD Team has told me they are working on it and have upvoted.  I really hope this feature becomes available to make my work efficient and speedy.

I love the simplicity of having everything I need in one place. Contact management, email templates, process flows, and incredible tutorials and customer service. I'll be using it every day this tax season. Adding in all of my client information has been a breeze, especially with TaxAct integration. **What do you like best about TaxDome?**

I require my customers to use a self sign-up feature, so that they are doing the data entry into TD. This a necessary first step in order to receive a quote (which they may or may not accept). Next up is a conditional organizer feature which makes the organizer very short (for simple tax returns) and very long (for complex tax returns). Automated workflow allows me to keep my customers up to date on the progress of their tax return.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

Some of the features are not as robust as in standalone solutions. I am using Insightly as my legacy CRM and it's simple navigation and reporting are far superior to TD.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Admin time is greatly reduced as we do not have to follow up with additional customer organizers (for rentals or business) or send templated messages about tax return status.

**What do you like best about TaxDome?**

Taxdome is not only a CRM it is used to be our practices secure portal with clients.  We love the ease KBA for client to sign documents.  Taxdome support is subperb and useflow at helping setup jobflows within our practice.  I am not sure where we would be without TaxDome.  We use TaxDome daily on our PC and on the mobile app.  It was super easy to get started and integrate with email.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

The only area I would like to see improved within TaxDome is a meeting and note area.  It would be nice to track notes that way and then create followups.  The current note area is great for basic client notes.

**What problems is TaxDome solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TaxDome streamlines our practice and creates a central hub of communication.  The old days of lost clients emails has ended for our practice.

It keeps everything in one place - documents, signatures, contact info etc with a single log in. In addition, Taxdome is easy for my clients to use so they do.

I don't like that TaxDome is constantly opening new tabs when I click on different things.  I end up with multiple tabs and I am constantly clicking back and forth trying to find the right one.

The main reason I signed up for TaxDome was for workflow - to help us better keep on top of what each client needed to have done and when.  It solved that problem and more by providing not only workflow solutions, but docuement storage, electronic signature, messaging, billing and website services that I was previously getting from multiple other vendors.

The client communication is great. Getting clients to send their documents securely is always a struggle, but the easy to use client portals on TaxDome are perfect. One click and the client can send me their docs! I love the ability to mass update the portal folders as well - keeps the documents orderly and things are easy to find.

The customer support has been awesome as well. My first one on one with Robert was time well spent; he was able to answer ALL of my questions - and I sure had a lot.

**What do you dislike about TaxDome?**

As a new user, I have not run across many negative aspects yet. I have had to take a couple of trial runs with the docu-ign feature, but I am getting the hang of it. I am also a little befuddled with the pipeline vs. jobs designations. I will get better, though, as I use the system more.

The one improvement I could offer would be to send me fewer emails!! I think I get one or sometimes two emails from tax Dome per day!

The easy to use and understand secure client portals are helping to reinforce to clients the importance of sending their docs securely. Every team member has access to all the notes, documents, and client information in one place. On top of that, TaxDome is proactively improving and updating their platform based on user feedback. This is so critical in the ever changing tax and bookkeeping world.

I would love a way to move the data of one field to another field for the entire database. There are times when we shift information or reflect it in a different location. It would be great to have the ability to do it with a few clicks for all clients.

So far, it looks pretty easy to work with and I am impressed with the functionality.  Customer support seems very good and the short videos are very helpful.  Still working on the implementation.  Was able to import my clients on my own with the help of the tutorials!  Even better, I was able to easily edit the information when it came over differently than I had thought.  Looking forward to working with this system on a daily basis.
