What do you like best about ClearCompany?

The best thing about ClearCompany is how simple it is to use. Even if someone is new to the platform, they can figure things out pretty quickly. The workflows are clean, the layout makes sense, and it takes a lot of the manual work out of hiring and onboarding. It feels like everything you need is right where you expect it to be. What do you dislike about ClearCompany?

Some areas could definitely be improved. A few features feel a little outdated, and some parts of the system aren’t as customizable as we’d like. Setting up integrations sometimes takes longer than expected, and certain reports require extra support to customize. None of these are deal-breakers, but they do slow things down occasionally. What do you like best about ClearCompany?

We have been using Clear Company for a few years now and implementation was very easy. Posting positions is so easy and I am a big fan of the job and email templates to save time. We have a great relationship and speak regularly with our account support not just during implementation. Our last provider did not keep up with us at all but with Clear Company we keep in touch and they reach out about updates to the software and how we might be able to utilize given the way we do things. What do you like best about ClearCompany?

I have been in the HR field for my entire career. Having used multiple applicant tracking tools throughout my career. I came across ClearCompany in a previous company and have successfully transitioned to their product utilizing the full suite. This is a user-friendly platform that does not require an HR degree to use whole heartedly. From the most Senior HR professional to the entry level employee, the seamless application allows all users to excel on this platform. If a situation arises, I never have to wait for an answer. "Clear Company helps clear up the hiring process"
What do you like best about ClearCompany?

Clear Company is an Applicant Tracking System, but they have worked to make the hiring and on-boarding process more seamless over the years. They also continue to expand into more HR areas of importance, such as compensation, performance management and integration into background checks, so the entire applicant process is contained. The most recent updates have included the use of AI tools to help write and develop job posts, so that it is more professional and improves the overall recruitment process. The other aspect that I appreciate is the reporting. while Clear Company has always had a reporting platform, they have improved this area, including some additional AI tools to better collect and report the data on your recruitment. Other areas that have saved time for me, include the ability to create and save job postings, so that when I recruit for other positions, I do not have to recreate the wheel, simply update the job post and make it go live with a new job posting. What do you dislike about ClearCompany?

My main issue with the company is the recent shift in their customer service approach. Although the platform still provides a variety of "learning topics," including articles and videos to help answer questions, they have scaled back on the "live" customer service that some other companies continue to offer. There is now a chat bot that tries to guide users to relevant articles or videos, but this did not resolve my particular question and quickly became a frustrating experience. When I tried calling the customer service line, I was asked to provide a PIN, which I didn't have. Apparently, with the changes to their customer service program, speaking to a real person now requires an additional fee—something I was not aware of. On a positive note, I was able to reach my account manager, who opened a ticket to address my issue, but the whole process was both frustrating and time-consuming. What do you like best about ClearCompany?

I used to love the I-9 integration... I think EquiFax will eventually work out. And if you can get Virtual working via ClearCompany it could be better. Currently the defaults are not set up correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClearCompany?

Your 1st line of support is horrible, it doesn't know when there are known problems with resume parsing and wasted a ton of time asking me to have my CANDIDATES fix it. In general, the first answer is almost always completely unhelpful.

Can't sort resumes by Ireland, United State, or any country. I do mostly national searches by country and can't do it in ClearCo. I had to create spreadsheet to track talent by Country.

GDPR compliance is not adequate. I received an automated message from Dasseault Systems about my application, and it requested me to OK keeping my application. I did not reply intentionally and the sent me note. "Sad to see you go" and then they deleted all my application automatically! I know Workable does this too. Why can't ClearCompany. What do you like best about ClearCompany?

ClearCompany is instrumental in the organization of our applicants and the completion of the interview process. The customer support team, whether via chat or email, is always available to help with an issue, which is extremely important to our recruiting team. What do you like best about ClearCompany?

It’s hard for me to pinpoint what I like best about ClearCompany because much of the functionality ends up being more time-consuming than helpful. Features don’t always work consistently, and instead of streamlining my workflow, I often find myself troubleshooting issues or creating workarounds. The system causes more frustration than efficiency, which makes it difficult to highlight a single aspect I truly enjoy using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClearCompany?

What I dislike most about ClearCompany is that the system requires far too many clicks to accomplish even basic tasks and the functionality often feels limited or broken. The search tool is restrictive as it only works by candidate name rather than pulling results from email or phone number and reporting is not always accurate. Features like knockout or auto grading questions require going into setup to build a new application instead of simply adding them to a requisition and even when knockout questions are configured they do not always work as intended which makes candidate review more time consuming. The overall UI is not intuitive, setup and configuration take too many steps, and candidate search frequently fails to return results tied to a requisition even when selected. Support and response time is also very poor from the account manager, the CSM, and even when submitting tickets. I sent one a week ago and have yet to hear back despite also emailing our assigned ClearCo reps. Ultimately, while ClearCompany can serve as a low cost option for organizations with lower hiring volume or less complex needs, the lack of functionality slows down the recruiting process and often forces you to supplement with other systems which costs more time and money in the long run. What do you like best about ClearCompany?

ClearCompany has served us well over the past three years. Their team offers excellent support, and once you become familiar with the system, it is very user-friendly.

What do you dislike about ClearCompany?

The main issue I’ve encountered is that updating the onboarding packets isn’t very straightforward. Whenever I need to add a new document, I have to manually update each individual packet, which can be a bit tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClearCompany?

ClearCompany does a lot right. It is the best ATS I have used as a recruiter. It is simple to use and is easy to understand. They make a lot of the product customizable but do it in a straightforward way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClearCompany?

They have some weaknesses. ClearCompany by itself is only an ATS. You will rely on integration with your HRIS to oversee the entire candidate/employee life cycle. The quality and consistency of the integration varies greatly by HRIS system and ClearCompany does not always integrate important features as well as I would like.
