What do you like best about Accelo?

Accelo excels at integrating key business operations, especially those related to billing, project management, CRM, and time tracking. The platform has greatly reduced the burden of administrative work by automating workflows such as project scheduling, task assignment, and time tracking, among other processes. We rely on Accelo to monitor all billable hours, which helps us better understand our profit margins and evaluate employee productivity. Additionally, we use it to track financial activity related to work management, which has resulted in meaningful retainers for both our clients and staff. We also use Accelo in conjunction with other tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workplace, QuickBooks, Slack, and more.

What do you like best about Accelo?

I really appreciate that Accelo combines our CRM, Help Desk, Sales, Project Management, and Billing into one tool, which has been great for scaling our business as we grow. I love the help desk features, especially how I can check and verify timesheets and quickly audit them. It's also useful that with the help desk, a ticket is created to track the time spent when a customer contacts us, making it easy to bill post-paid clients in 15-minute increments. What do you dislike about Accelo?

Accelo has some shortcomings, one major feature on the email that I would love to see is a "save as draft." If you click away from an email or get pulled in another direction, you could lose your email. It was actually pretty difficult. We had an advisor from Accelo help us out, but they needed to understand our workflows for success. While it took some time, (2-3 months) we finally did get settled. This tool is highly automated thus reduces time wastage in manual tasks doing repetitive tasks thus reducing time wastage and errors.

What do you like best about Accelo?

Being able to assign clients their own job boards, tasks with assignees, communication features in general stream, task streams, checklists per task as well as being able to track time per task - along with lists that are customizable to track literally everything. It's ALL here and it's quite useful. We used it extensively as our job management system and ticket system for various products for over 3 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Accelo?

It has got to be the glitchiest platform ever created. Streams completely disappear once you submit, or you have to refresh 3 times to see them, let alone apply to them. Tasks start times do not work properly and seem to start whenever they feel like, and the entire infrastructure seems to have a mind of its own. Customer support has not always been helpful, and it's not easy to learn with a deep curve on how to read job boards, navigates jobs vs lists and implementation into existing processes is tough. Integrating people seems easy in setup but make a mistake on the profile and good luck changing it. It needs a huge quality overhaul. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A few things I like best about Accelo are: 1) the ability to see and respond to all team members’ email correspondence with clients and vendors, 2) the ability of the engagement templates to be heavily customized, and 3) the ability to create customized shared lists. What do you dislike about Accelo?

A few things I dislike about Accelo are: 1) the engagement page Insights tab does not show the total hours assigned to each team member - just work done and forecast budget overages, 2) to the same effect, you can filter by team member on the Overview tab, but I wish it would total the hours at the bottom for each team member based on the filter applied, 3) some of the reports provide too much information and are unable to be simplified to show just the specific information I am looking for. I like that Accelo is cloud-based, which makes accessing it easy from anywhere. It's also easy to learn yet highly configurable and flexible, allowing it to adapt to different needs. What do you like best about Accelo?

Takes a bit to learn, but once you wrap your head around it, the ease of implementation and functionality is great. We use this every day in our agency and it helps us keep track of all of our clients, projects and invoicing. It also seamlessly integrates with Xero and other popular softwares. What do you dislike about Accelo?

When switching from the old to new version of Accelo, I found quite a few key features were not transferred over that I use every day. This meant that I had to stay using the old version for a while.
