The inconvinience to log times bulky, you can not select time and change it too easily

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving our project management problems and also it solves a major issue with invoiceing giving more flexibility with Invoice Wizzard to invoice bulky

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

I love how forecast combines useability with data analysis. it provide a quick and easy route to find work and log time for anyone using the system but gathers a range of useful data metrics that can be manuipulated to give powerful BI insights

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

It would be useful to use more data manipulation in AvA. e.g. Putting a sum at the bottom of a table, subtracting one column form another.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forecast is allowing us to proejct capaicty levels up to a year in advance and inform hiring and freelancing decisions. It is also providing insights into our proejct service levels and budgets. The data supplied that can be analysed to find correcive actions.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Invoicing and visibility of project retainer budgets. Setting up repeaters and invoicing clients is very easy compared to have two different systems (e.g. used to use Jira and Xero and have to create integrations that may break).

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

Lots of features still missing, e.g. the typing experience in Jira/Notion with smart text everywhere is far more capable. E.g. writing and logging tasks in description is only simple text, so we have to doa  workaround of logging in the stream for detailed explanation. Sometimes images don't even work properly. Also no dark mode.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timetracking has always been difficult - so having timers available is very easy

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

I use Accelo every day for work. It is convenient that it syncs with Gmail, so I can easily log my time for emails on my daily timesheet. I like how I can manage my tickets and tasks and track their progress through statuses.
I have reached out to their support team a few times, and the questions were resolved quickly.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

While Gmail is integrated, a few emails seem to fall between the cracks. Most emails show up in my daily timesheet, but usually there are one or two missing.
I wish ticket statuses would update automatically based on email conversations, or that there was a checkbox when sending an email so I can easily update the status from there. Otherwise it's easy to forgot and the statuses aren't accurate.

Accelo makes it easy to track my billable time

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Really great for putting together fee estimates, tracking time and tasks etc
Multiple ways to record time and view tasks without overcomplicating the process.
Customer support is great, and they take on board suggestions for improvements.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

Filters provide many options to show relevant data, but can take a while to get used to exactly how some of these work.
Resource heat maps and reporting isnt as intuitive as the rest of the programme.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to provide fee estimates and timelines to clients, and monitor these against progress.  As part of this we are able to view the resource allocation and have a better handle on our capaicty to take on additional projects

Not much - They seem to have alot of issues with thier servers going down.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

thier support which you only get if you pay on top of everything else.  You cant even log a call to billing or support to let them know thier system has crashed

Its causing more issues than it resolves, espically with contracts and billing our clients

I like using the timesheet overview functionality best so that I can keep an eye on how our team is tracking against targets.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

It's just so expansive so has taken a long time to adjust to and find my way around.  The retainer functionality doesn't quite align with the way we plan our work, so that has been challenging.

Accelo has helped us bring our billing and work all into the same place, which is helpful as we are using fewer systems.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Forecast has been great for our business so far, transforming the way in which projects are set up and how we obtain management information.
I love the engaged product team.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

Forecast is on a journey and I'd love them to refine the financial reporting robustness (e.g. multi currency conversion and how that is used in different data sets in AVA). 

There are plenty of improvements that I know they're working on, but would be great to get a public roadmap with delivery dates so we can manage our internal stakeholders on any pain points.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forecast is solving different problems: 

a. Lack of real time management information
b. Ease of scheduling
c. Ease of project set up
d. Ease of timesheeting

Having a great look and feel is the icing on the cake.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Accelo really shines with its project management and CRM integration. It’s awesome having everything I need in one place, and the automation helps me stay on top of tasks without getting overwhelmed.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

The system can be a bit tricky to get the hang of, especially with some of the more advanced features. I’ve also run into a few glitches that threw me off track. Overall, it’s a solid tool, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Accelo addresses the challenge of juggling multiple tools by integrating project management and CRM into a single platform. This integration saves me time, reduces the risk of errors, and helps me stay organised, ultimately boosting my productivity and client satisfaction.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

The user interface is human friendly. Creating a new project is quick. Task management and scheduling is made simple and quick. The user interface has good response time as well.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

In large corporations where accesses to specific projects should be restricted based on the organizational structure - this feature will require further improvements. Another example is project specific labels; these are missing. In the current version labels are created by admin and these labels are then common to all projects.

Forecast is the platform to manage our company's internal projects. All projects share a common database and internal project portfolio is easy to manage. Prioritizing the work/tasks is one of the key benefits.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Staying in touch and managing projects with my staff and clients has never been easier than with Accelo. Now everything from client emails and files to appointments and notes can be automatically tracked and shared with my entire team. We can access all information from anywhere and on any device thanks to their innovative technology solutions. It has also been great for sales; we are automating operations and gaining visibility for expansion.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

In short, Accelo gives us all the functionality we need. Pricing for small businesses is the only aspect that could be improved.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By automating and centralizing all projects, we have been able to streamline operations, save time and increase productivity. Workload allocation and organization has been very helpful; I can now find and remember the resources I need with much less effort and complete tasks in the correct order. The ability to consolidate all tasks and projects in one place. It has simplified management, improved team communication and workflow, and made it easier to track progress, which has brought us efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Accelo is a comprehensive agency management platform that has allowed us to better serve our clients and spend more time focused on delivery of creative marketing solutions and less time on paperwork, campaign administration, ticket and task management and time keeping. It has also helped us improve profitability. They also have frequent updates with new features which is refreshing to see.

It can be a challenge to adapt your processes, but well worth it in the end.

We used to use several platforms to manage everything we can now do in Accelo. Accelo improves communication with clients and staff, profitability by capturing previously unbilled work, and provides visibility to clients cutting down on clients feeling removed from the process.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Accelo's focus on simplification and maximum performance is one of the reasons I appreciate it. There are many useful elements in the interface that allow me to do my job better; it's a great option for getting things done in the real world. Thanks to this easy-to-use application, the efficiency of job creation has greatly improved, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

The speed of response from the support team is decent, although there is no chronological order in their responses and sometimes they respond in the wrong order.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integration of numerous work contracts has helped us achieve optimal performance; it's nice, convenient and has yielded great results. The importance of an effective project management system to achieve objectives is something that Accelo has instilled in us as leaders. It makes it easy for us to locate different resources, manage requirements and control tasks in the right order.

Forecast offers an intuitive interface that makes project planning and resource management seamless.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

The only downside is the learning curve for new users, which might require some initial training to fully leverage all features. However, once accustomed, the platform is highly effective.

Forecast is solving the challenge of efficiently managing multiple projects and resources simultaneously. This results in better project outcomes, reduced time spent on manual planning, and improved team productivity.

I like how using Forecast, I have the ability to control and manage not only my SDLC but also the financial aspect of how my product is growing and at what scale.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

While it offers the project management feature, I can see there could be plenty more space left for it to be comparable to existing products in the market, like jira.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me an almost accurate brief of how my overall project is turning out to be, both in terms of sprint and SDLC, and how efficiently the financial assets are relocated and cosumed across various other projects.

We have a really responsive and helpful support team at Forecast who help us with any challenges we have on the system. Always available to give support and assist with customisation to enable the system to work in the best way for us.

Sometimes there are limitations around specific functions we'd like but Forecast are always open to add more features and suggestions to their roadmap.

Accelo is housing all of our delivery assets in one location, is providing us with a helpful resource for resource management, and is providing a direct tie for project budgets/time tracking for employees. The ability to combine your CRM, Project Management Tools, Ticketing, Time Tracking, Billing and Sales all in one!! No other system that does it better!

I've seen Accelo implemented more than once, which is why I chose it as our ultimate one system to rule them all! Works amazing in the digital marketing space, and beats any of it's competitors like Monday, Hub Spot, Pipedrive and the likes...

Beyond just the platform, the team and customer support is exceptional, all the way from the demo phase to the onboarding and system migration/implementation/integration, you cannot fault Accelo.

Overall, including the ease of use and intuitive interface, Accelo is the go to daily tool any agency should consider using. It brings you great reporting, visibility and deliverability that is second to none!

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

Not much to dislike, but could do with more automation features!

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Combining all our different systems into one, where we now can manage our client records, projects, tickets, time tracking, billing and sales.

Historically, we were using a handful of different systems to do this, and for a digital marketing agency with over 500 clients, this transition to Accelo was a no-brainer for us!

If you have any doubts about moving across, don't! Accelo delivers in all respects, which is very hard to come by in the tech world.

The customer service at Forecast is the best I've ever experienced. Becky & Andrea have been amazing answering my many questions on how to best use the platform to fit our needs. They are always very prompt & highly knowledgeable. Forecast has tons of features & they continue to roll out updates to better assist their clients.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

They rolled out quiet a few updates without giving any heads up or explanation of the new features last week. I would've liked to receive a guide on new features and any impacts they might have.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've just implemented a new resource management process that would be impossible without Forecast. We're still waiting on a few things: 

1. When resource planning, task allocation only allows even time distributions across the selected dates. (ie. If you assign an 8 hour task for Mon-Tues, it evenly distributes it instead of being able to allocate 5hr Mon, 3hr Tues.) You can distribute time this way in project allocation but this method doesn't communicate to projects or time registrations in this mode. I would also love for them to add communication between the people schedule & timesheets but don't expect this for a while. 

2. Exporting a detailed breakdown of invoices instead of only the project names & totals.

Forecast has really helped us as a design agency understand how much work our team has on our plates, what we have capacity for when planning future projects, and how we may need to adjust costs to cover what it really takes to complete a job. It's such a valuable tool from not only a traffic planning perspective but also financial.

Forecast can be a bit daunting in the sense that there is SO much you can do or numerous ways to do a single thing. Once you figure out what processes and workflows work best for you and your team it's great but takes some real legwork to get there.

Accelo allows us to easily know the critical information about each project. Keeping a project on schedule and on budget is so much better now that we are using Accelo to do it.

We are constantly having to monitor where hours are being placed by Accelo in retainer periods. If we leave a retainer period from a previous month open, Accelo will often assign entered hours to an old retainer period even though the dates dont match.

Making sure projects are staying on budget, and knowing where projects are financially during the entire process is a problem we dealt with for years before Accelo. Now we have it in real time, anytime. Accelo is saving us time, which saves us money.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Accelo is our source of truth company-wide for the status of all projects, tasks, tickets, campaigns, opportunities, etc. It's our master CRM and time tracker tool (time entries for client work, internal work, etc.) as well as time/bandwidth planning within teams. Our operations team has put a ton of effort to making Accelo our master tool for all project resources. We all have it open all day, every day. The timers, search functionality, associations, permissions, notifications -- all work great.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

We love Accelo for big picture, but the day-to-day tasks/work were still being tracked in spreadsheets until we recently migrated several teams to Jira. Some of the Accelo modules that promised day-to-day status/tracking and/or Gantt charts are a bit overpromised but not as usable in practice.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accelo provides the central location for project management, fee structures, time tracking and allocation, and central notes/documents for any given work across the agency.

I can see my work schedule for the week and see how much time I have left assigned for a project. It also gives me the option to add notes to tasks so that I can remember how time was spent if later asked.

I don't like that I do not have access to see the rest of my teams calendar, I do not need access to amend the calendar, I would just like to be able to view it. When my manager is off, other team members ask if it is possible to work on something but I can not see if the team has capacity etc.

It allows my manager to assign work to the team and see our capacity for the month. It means I am not assigned more work than possible within my working hours. I like that I can move and extend my own assigned jobs to be more accurate if a job is overrunning etc

Accelo is excellent because it has helped me motivate various accounting control activities; as invoices show the relative importance of a brand's revenue or expenses, the interface has been beneficial in allowing us to see a lot of numbers. Our company's data can now be accessed from a centralized location. This means that all team members have access to our centralized database.

This would be an immediate service improvement since Accelo is an expensive platform, especially for new companies.

Accelo is the program we use to integrate all of our internal financial procedures, and since then, everything has gone smoothly. Their generated invoices are accurate and have an astonishingly high compliance ratio and numerical estimates. It is packed with useful features and works well with other programs used in the business world. You won't regret betting on Accelo, a software that exemplifies remarkable fluidity in its operation, to manage your company's data, projects and performance metrics.

It's helpful for keeping track of time and there are multiple ways to do so. You can log it manually or you can use a timer.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

I am not a fan of the task area's interface. I feel like it's hard on the eyes and you cannot insert hyperlinks like in Asana.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first my company used Asana and Harvest to do project management and time tracking. Then we switch to Accelo because it was everything in one plus a client portal

  ### 50. Painful.  Simply terrible software and company.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Honestly the only thing I can say I like is what the software presents itself to be.  It seems like a "one-stop solution"  for all needs of a professional services or consulting firm.  This would be potentially very useful!

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

Quality of the software. Shockingly terrible customer service. Manipulative and predatory sales tactics.

This software was built a long time ago and has not been modernized to the extent it should have.  Many modern User Experience functions are not included.  It feels like early 2000's software that has had a UI facelift.  The look is more modern, but the function is not.

The user guides are not up to date and are not extensive. Finding out how this thing works is a tough slog. 

Help desk resources made some comments to us along the lines of "yes we know you've been sending us tickets very regularly".  Seems they have a joke with each other about how our company reaches out to for help too often. Shouldn't this be a sign that they should improve the customers experience rather than laughing about how often they have problems? If you want to talk to someone who "almost" understands how the software works you must pay $300/hr.

There are bugs that will make you wonder how this company is still in business. 

We've been using the software for 6 months and we've identified at least 4 bugs that they agree are not intended function.  4 in six months?!  These are not small bugs either:

1. Template "overdue invoice" reminder sends a belligerent email to your customer without your consent.  Their response is "We will prioritize this bug with the needs of other customers".

2. The customer portal has data labeled incorrectly for your customers so your customers are unclear on how they are getting charged.   Was told they would "prioritize this with other needs" even though the fix is just changing a few text fields.

3.  When consultants input time they are given access to your list of contacts within the customer even though user permissions are set not to allow this.  Gives your consultants and potential third party partners a complete list of your sales contacts within a customer. It took 4 meetings with Accelo for them to understand why this was a bad thing.  Then finally admitted it was a bug and given the "we will prioritize this" line. 

4. Contractor license does now allow for valuable company reporting.  We have about 20 contractor licences that we were sold.  Then after implementation we find out none of their data flows into company reporting.  Can't see them in profitability for the company etc. Why would anyone ever want a license where the financial data produced by that user does not flow into company reporting?  Customer service manager told me "yes, well you have to understand that we want you to pay for the full license".  Well, we were sold these other licenses and never told that the data would not flow into reporting until after implementation.  Then we met with a senior implementation person that said no that's not intended function.  He said he would get back to us with a fix, we never heard back.  Still can't see profitability across the whole company.  

It's like being sold QuickBooks, then after you go through implementation you are told told "sorry the license you bought won't allow you to make a Balance Sheet  you should buy the higher license that is 4x the cost of the one you bought"


Bugs in software is understandable; it happens.  Good software is hard to make and few do it at a high level. However, there is no excuse for bad customer service and predatory sales tactics.  

We evaluate software for a living.  Accelo fails miserably in ease of use, function, price, customer service.  It's bad. Really bad.  Stay away if you value your sanity and hard earned cash.

It's not solving anything right now.  We have spent many hours trying to get it set up and we cannot use it the way we wanted to.  Accelo, at this time, has been a total waste of time and money.

Because Accelo connects all stages of a client’s journey, it is a complex platform and it is most effective when customized to fit the unique needs of a business. This is why we encourage all new customers to take part in an implementation or training session to make sure the platform is set up successfully and to prevent issues down the line. We understand that some users prefer to implement the platform themselves, but proper professional setup and usage training is the best way to leverage the platform and more easily deliver your client work. 

We want to address the concerns related to our support services. We are sorry if you felt your concerns were not being addressed appropriately. We take the matters of our clients very seriously and can assure you that our team thoughtfully handles all issues or questions that we receive. 

We appreciate your feedback related to the current message in the overdue invoice template and are implementing updates. Users always have the ability to add a custom message at any time or select the default option that prevents any reminder message from being sent to clients.

Additionally, our records show that your concern related to the contractor permissions issue was due to internal changes made on the user permission level. It appears a resolution was provided and there was no bug to fix. If you’re still experiencing issues related to these permissions, please let our support team know so we can assist.

We understand that it can be frustrating when tickets need to be prioritized and our team is continuing to work on prioritizing improvements to the tickets process based on feedback shared by you and other clients. If you feel there is a critical change that is preventing you from successfully using the platform, please do not hesitate to let us know to help prioritize. 

Finally, we want to address the concerns around contractor licenses. By choosing to add users as contractors, there are some functionalities that do not carry over from our full license users, which is reflected in the cost per seat. It was shared in the sales process when our team stated that contractors are limited access users who can only view and log time to assigned work. This does limit reporting. If reporting on contractor data is something you need, we would be happy to work with you to update your account.

Once again, we are very sorry to hear your experience with the platform has been unsatisfactory. If there is anything else we can do to ensure that you have a more positive experience moving forward, we would love the opportunity to do so.
