What I find challenging about Salesforce Revenue Cloud is that it can be quite complex and often requires significant configuration or specialist support to get the most out of it. It can also be expensive when you layer CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Recognition together. The UI isn’t always intuitive for non-technical users, and customizing it can create technical debt if you’re not careful. For me, Salesforce Revenue Cloud solves the challenge of managing the entire revenue process in one place. AutoLeap is helping us with many problems as a new shop. Customer and vehicle information tracking, estimate creation, inventory tracking, invoicing and payments. The least helpful thing I have found so far are 2 different features.

1) Your customer must be checked as Eligible for AR in order to push over... I'm not entirely sure why they wouldnt be but all of ours are I feel it should be reversed it should auto be checked and uncheck it if they are not. There are more customers that are going to pay than not. When you have several people in the office and not following after yourself its hard to get everyone on board. With checking this one box, that puts a dead holt on transferring transactions over to AR.

2) Applying 1 check to multiple transactions. I hate that when a customer wants a paid transaction I can enter it to show its paid, but then I have to void it because if they have 2 invoices it will show the same check number with a different amt and not blend in the end having to reenter correctly directly into QB. One thing I dislike about Xero is that some advanced features are limited compared to full ERP systems. For larger or more complex businesses, customization options and detailed inventory management could be improved.

Trying to make sure that the tray is correct so that it doesn't go to another department by default. It can be a little bit of a waste of time, but I would still say Stampli is worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stampli has helped us tremendously with timely payments to vendors, not being asked to code the same invoice multiple times, and getting invoices to the correct coders the first time. This has helped our work load so much, because we no longer have to spend at least an hour each day finding old invoices that we coded months ago that were never paid. I can’t create an invoice on the go. If a client or even a non-client walks into the office needing a quick out-of-scope job like a copy of a report or something similar I can’t just generate an invoice without first creating an agreement. What problems is Anchor solving and how is that benefiting you?

I’m in a small community where a lot of our clients talk among themselves, so consistency is really important. Anchor’s set pricing and the ability to apply discounts let me show the same retail pricing to everyone, which keeps things transparent and fair. Before Anchor, my pricing was all over the place. Now, each service includes its own scope of work, expectations, and benefits meaning my engagement letters practically write themselves. It’s streamlined, consistent, and saves me a ton of time. Although FreshBooks does a great job with ease of use, the reporting features could be more advanced for those who want deeper insights into financial trends. I’d also like a bit more flexibility when customizing invoices and dashboards. Additionally, the cost may feel high for freelancers or very small businesses on a tight budget. We occasionally have concerns about the automatic network connection with other vendors. For example, there was a time when we unintentionally connected with a vendor who shared the exact same name as another, and we failed to notice the mistake before a payment was processed. BILL AP helps us save time on data entry by remembering the coding from previous invoices. We also appreciate the BILL email feature, which allows us to send invoices directly to BILL from our email, including their attachments. The biggest drawback we've had using Paystand is the amount of time it takes to notify us about a bounced ACH for insufficient funds or bad account number. For example, if a customer makes a payment on a Tuesday, we won't know if that payment truly clears until the following Tuesday. We will still get credited 1-2 days after the initial payment, but if it bounces, that payment is reversed. Then we're left to go back and try to recollect a week later. Our company experiences a high volume of bounced transactions, so being notified about them after 7 days is pain compared to the standard 2-3 days when depositing a check. This company is fraudulent and a scam, and they do not answer the phone. I received two checks through email from America PAC for the Elon Musk petition referral program. Checkbook.io sent the checks.

I deposited the checks via mobile deposit and my bank flagged the checks and shut my account down saying the checks were fraudulent. When I tried to dispute this matter and explained that they are not fraud, Wells Fargo told me they require verification from Checkbook.io to prove the checks were legitimate. I sent over 30 detailed emails as well as attempted to call them. When you call them, it says “no support agents are available. Leave your number and email and someone will get back to you” and nobody ever calls you. I've called over 100 times.

All I needed them to do was call from a verified phone number and tell my bank the checks were legitimate. They couldn’t even do that.

What financial business does not operate using the phone? It makes no sense.

When I finally do get an email back, it isn’t helpful at all, and my support inquiry is closed and marked completed.

My bank is closing my account on 2/4/25 if I can’t get the checks verified by then. My funds are being held by bank, and I will have to have my long awaited checks recalled and then re-issued if I can’t get this done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allowed my employer to pay me seamlessly through email. However they will not help you if a bank needs further verification. They do not have a working phone number. Zero Customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One challenge we have is that the message section doesn’t sync properly when using separate internal users. The messages appear as unread even when they’ve already been opened by someone else. Because of this, we currently have to share one internal user account.

Another limitation is that we can’t click directly on a user’s name within a message channel to go to their profile. Instead, we have to copy the name, switch to the CRM, paste it, and manually open the profile — which adds unnecessary steps.

It would also be helpful if the total message count showed the number of channels (users) instead of total messages, and if the counter didn’t stop at 99+ but displayed the actual number.

The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability. We keep practice info at our fingertips and use it to track time. I also like the task tracking and the ability to set up task flows that trigger the next step on completion of the previous. What I dislike about Sequence is that while its simplicity is a strength, it can also mean that some advanced users may wish for deeper customization options or more granular controls. A few features feel early in their maturity, and depending on your workflow, you might notice occasional gaps that require workarounds. Integration is generally smooth, but certain edge-case tools or systems may need extra configuration. Ordway’s flexibility and customization options are extensive, and that can sometimes feel overwhelming when trying to determine the best approach for certain situations or building reports. While this can feel like a "dislike" at times, it really speaks to the the breadth of possibilities the system can account for, track and report on.
