## Workfront Reviews
 ### 1. Comprehensive Tool with Setup Challenges for Large Organizations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I enjoy Workfront for its ability to provide a consolidated single pane of glass. It really helps me view marketing campaigns and understand where they are in the process.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

It's difficult to configure and constantly stay up to date on process for a large organization. The initial setup was also difficult since there were lots of different teams with disparate processes.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for marketing project management to streamline our marketing process and governance. It provides a consolidated single pane of glass to view where marketing campaigns are in the process.

 ### 2. Versatile Workflow Management with Integration Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aija M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that Workfront can be used for many use cases. It can be adapted to create helpful workflows for different use cases, which I find really versatile. I appreciate that it keeps the creative materials submitted connected to the request and keeps all communication on one platform.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Reporting is not as flexible as our users would like. The initial setup was not that easy—we needed Adobe consultants to help guide us.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to keep creative materials and all communications connected to requests on one platform, simplifying our workflows.

 ### 3. Steep Learning Curve, But Enhances Project Transparency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee Anne M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like using Workfront because it allows the use of Fusion to automate repetitive tasks. This feature is really helpful as it helps customize the level of automation needed for projects, which is a big time saver and streamlines my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

You need someone with Fusion experience to help navigate the Fusion automation. The learning curve is really steep to get very good at Workfront, although it's easy for a novice to do basic tasks. The initial setup was very difficult due to its complexity, requiring us to hire an external consulting team and experts full time, taking six months to a year to have our first project pilot. We really loved the Workfront Outlook integration, but that has been deprecated.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to manage the workflow, which increases transparency and helps the team know where projects are at all times. This self-service access prevents the need to track down details on our own.

 ### 4. Excellent Organization and Historical Project Records

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Addie H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

Adobe Workfront is a great place for project organization and role assignments. The historical project record has been crucial as our brand transitioned to a new name several years ago.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I dislike that sometimes changes to user project view is not easy to identify. One member of our team had a different view than I did and it was difficult to identify why.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront helps our team to organize their projects and create clear role assignments. It's easy to see the progression of a project and where it may be stalled.

 ### 5. User-Friendly with Robust Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like Workfront's easy interface and prompting, which makes it simple to direct and ask for tasks with clear action items. The initial setup was straightforward and easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I find the need for more white space on the single view screen to be an issue. Also, categorizing content between marketing and brand inputs and outputs could be improved.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for generating project briefs for creative marketing work. It solves the problem of organizing thoughts, pulling in correct brand inputs, and aligning data inputs.

 ### 6. Saves Time and Enhances Workflow Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keziya A. | Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find Workfront to be a time-saving and easy-to-use platform. It's efficient and helps improve the quality of work. The request intake forms and templates are great for standardizing required information, which makes repeatable work faster and allows new staff to follow the same structure. The live status across the team helps with strict governance and transparency. I also appreciate how easy it has become to manage tasks, assign owners, and track progress.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I find Workfront's UI could be more intuitive and modern. The flow feels complicated with too many options. I'd like improvements in the report builder UX and feel the agile and scrum capabilities are weaker compared to other tools. Also, the AI could be more practical by adding features like project health assessment.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for submitting change requests, task assignments, and tracking progress. It saves time, is easy to manage, and improves work quality. Request intake forms and dashboards help standardize info, making repeatable work faster and enabling team collaboration with live status updates.

 ### 7. A powerful backend with a cumbersome and outdated frontend

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lars G. | IT Project- & Process Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

Workfront offers many promising features, such as Priorities, Canvas Dashboards, and Planning. The API is extensive.
Adobe branding is a name that many outsiders associate with professional products.
The community, especially through Experience League, is both good and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Unfortunately the UI / UX is quite outdated. It would be nice, if some newer Web-Framework would be used. Getting together necessary information requires a lot of clicks.

In our context we need a huge amount of individual customisation. Each customer has different needs. Workfront offers many interesting approaches, but it is often unclear whether we are relying on a solution that will still be viable in the future.

Many functions seem to have been neglected.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform can provide a clear overview of ongoing projects and their associated tasks, making it easier to manage workflows, especially when integrated with backend automations. It serves as a single source of truth and has the potential to replace several other tools.

 ### 8. Streamlined Project Management with Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really like Workfront because it's an excellent project and workflow management system. Its collaborative feature and strong data analytics help me a lot. Managing tasks, planning, giving approvals, and sorting files are super easy because everything is in a single place. This makes it really easy to manage a large portfolio.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The learning curve- I must say, the learning modules should be easy so that new users don't struggle with setup. It's expensive as well.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for project management and centralized planning, which helps manage my team, create marketing plans, handle client work, and organize tasks all in one place. It simplifies sorting files and managing a large portfolio, making everything easier.

 ### 9. Great for Tracking, But Setup & UI Need Improvement

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dheeraj G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like the comments section in Workfront. It lets me track the status I put and supports leadership review, providing alignment and transparency in project management.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I don't find the charts and graphs in Workfront useful. The giant chart is particularly not great, and its user interface could be a lot more engaging. The initial setup of Workfront was hard, especially the migration process.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for tracking project activities. The comments section lets me track the status I've put, helping with leadership review.

 ### 10. Comprehensive Project Management, but Somewhat Complex UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harmony T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like Workfront's ability to do resource planning, which allows me to assign hours effectively and see full end-to-end project management.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The interface is not as intuitive as I would like. There are almost too many options for setup, making it a bit overwhelming. I think it could be simplified with some templates, defaults, and user guidance for setting it up, especially for large organizations.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for project management, specifically resource planning and assigning hours, which helps me see full end-to-end project management.

 ### 11. Automates Complex Tasks, Needs Better Capacity Planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayla G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I use Workfront for project management, and I like its ability to automate complex tasks. This feature saves my team hours of manual work, which is a huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I think it’s more related to how my company set up our instance and workflows but the ability to manage capacity and sprint planning plus related reporting similar to Jira would be helpful.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront tasks large volumes of content and manages the workflow. Its ability to automate complex tasks saves my people hours of manual work.

 ### 12. Workfront Keeps All Project Management in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara A. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

Workfront helps me manage, assign, review, and approve all projects in one place. Everyone can easily collaborate without multiple versions or email correspondence.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The interface is not as intuitive as I would like, and the admin console can be difficult to manage. Theoretically, if I add someone, the should appear since I am the Adobe admin, and they still show as “pending”.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront helps us route, collaborate, and publish graphic design projects easily, without messy back and forth communication. I can add stakeholders as needed, which also helps.

 ### 13. Centralized Project Management That Simplifies Cross-Team Workflows

I really like that it makes managing workflow for a variety of different projects simpler and more centralized. Its great for project management and makes it easier for me to keep track of everything that is moving. Its helped us integrate different teams and their workflows in a simple way.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I don't always find the AI summaries and insights that helpful.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It so far has helped solve a lot of problems. It converts manual tasks into automated rules, uses reusable project templates, and routes project requests to the correct teams and approvers automatically. Definitely saves me a lot of time.

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like the usability of the Workfront platform. It solves content supply chain issues and helps keep track of resource allocation, which is really valuable for project management. The feature I value the most is resource allocation because it helps us figure out how to use resources better on projects.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Just usual things like the user interface and the learning curve for non-tech users.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront solves content supply chain issues, helping track resource allocation and improve how we use resources on projects.

 ### 15. Workfront Integrates Seamlessly with Adobe and Offers Flexible Custom Fields

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary H. | VP, Adobe Experience Cloud, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

Workfront is easily implemented with other Adobe products. It's also easy to add custom attributes and fields tailored toward projects.

Sometimes the support team can take time to get back to you. They also seem to pass you from person to person and you have to re-explain the issue.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have general content supply chain problems and there's a lot of manual steps involved in it. Workfront helps cut down on the manual steps with their workflows.

 ### 16. Streamlined Program Management with Effortless Integration

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I don't like that there's no integration with other Microsoft products like Azure DevOps, which makes for migration effort.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for creating WBS and tasks, and its integration with AEM helps in moving from requirements to user stories to content deployment.

 ### 17. Streamlined Project Management but Needs Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shashank S. | Implementation Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really appreciate Workfront for its ability to streamline project workflow in a natural order, allowing multiple resources and clients to collaborate effectively. One of the standout features for me is the scenario planning, which is incredibly helpful for managing last-minute changes to project scopes. Workfront's real-time optimization of resources ensures that any adjustments to the existing project plan are handled efficiently, which is a major advantage in keeping projects on track and organized. The integration with tools like Slack teams further enhances project collaboration, making it a valuable asset in my work environment.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I dislike how bulk updates for large projects slow down the system, which, while not catastrophic, still presents a manageable nuisance. Additionally, although the setup was easy, I found the initial learning curve to be quite steep, making it challenging at first to become fully comfortable with the platform.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for project tracking and resource collaboration, streamlining workflows and enabling real-time resource optimization, especially during project scope changes.

 ### 18. Easy Setup, Feature-Rich Project Management

I find the software simple and easy to use, which is enhanced by its comprehensive features. The ease of task and project management is particularly beneficial, providing me with a complete overview, which streamlines the workflow significantly. I also appreciate the straightforward initial setup; it was quite easy, requiring minimal effort to get started. The reason my team and I switched from Trello to Workfront was due to the enhanced features and ease of use that Workfront offers. I am highly satisfied with Workfront, to the extent that I would recommend it to friends and colleagues with a score of 9.5 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

there is nothing as of now

I use Workfront to manage projects and tasks efficiently, providing complete project oversight. It's simple to use and features-rich, improving our task management over Trello.

 ### 19. Streamlines Project Management, but Interface Needs Simplification

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anurag T. | Automation Test Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find Workfront incredibly beneficial for managing projects from start to finish; it helps me set up timelines, assign tasks, track progress, and keep all communications and documents centralized, which keeps my team aligned and on schedule. I really appreciate how Workfront reduces the chaos of tracking tasks scattered across emails and spreadsheets. Its ability to improve visibility into project timelines and facilitate cross-team communication is particularly valuable. My favorite aspect is the visibility it offers—it allows me to see project timelines, task ownership, and deadlines all in one unified platform, significantly simplifying my planning and prioritizing tasks. I rely heavily on the task management tools, project timelines, and automated approvals because they help me stay organized, move projects forward, and substantially reduce the amount of manual follow-up I typically need to do. Additionally, Workfront’s integration capabilities with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe products enhance communication and creative work. The switch from using multiple disconnected systems, like Asana, to Workfront has notably improved collaboration and centralized project tracking for my team. Ultimately, it lays a robust foundation once everything is set up, offering a solid structure to support our project management needs.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I find some features of Workfront to be overly complex or not very intuitive, which can make setting up certain workflows or reports time-consuming. The interface can also feel a bit heavy, especially for new users. Additionally, the initial setup was somewhat challenging due to the many options and customization capabilities, which took time to configure user accounts, teams, and workflows. Lastly, I think the interface could be simplified by streamlining the menus and making key features easier to find for new users.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to organize projects, enhance visibility, and streamline workflows by reducing task tracking chaos and centralizing communication and documents.

 ### 20. Unifies Workflows Seamlessly, Steep Learning Curve

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Fusion, it's awesome, but sometimes a little persnickety with our complex flows. Also, the initial setup of Workfront was pretty hard.

I use Workfront for organizing our creative workflow, merging four tools into one for better organization and accountability.

 ### 21. Effective Task Management with Real-Time Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Estimator/PM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I appreciate how Workfront has tremendously improved communication within our construction team, resolving issues associated with poor or absent communication. Workfront’s ability to clearly display who is assigned to specific tasks eliminates confusion and reduces errors significantly. I absolutely love the real-time collaboration feature, which is far more efficient compared to other software with delayed refresh times. With Workfront, as soon as a task is updated or changes are made, everyone involved is immediately aware, allowing us to act swiftly and minimize delays. The visual clarity provided by Workfront's interface ensures there are no ambiguities regarding task assignments, which enhances overall project management. Switching from Smartsheet to Workfront was beneficial, primarily due to its superior communication capabilities across multiple devices and locations. The easy initial setup allowed us to get started quickly, providing a smooth transition to using this powerful tool.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

At the time of use, not all functions available on the web version were accessible on the app. Specifically, there were some financial analytics features that could not be processed on the app. Although this issue was not the biggest concern, it was an inconvenience until it got integrated.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workfront resolves communication issues within my team, clearly indicating task assignments to avoid overlaps and reduce mistakes. Its real-time collaboration speeds up responsiveness, improving our task management and overall workflow efficiency.

The Most helpful i would say is beign able to manage multiple projects from different teams all in one place but, its still complicated as hell i would say.

Workfront is solving same project management issues like updating tasks across severall teams and getting updates i dont know anything new it offers from the existing ones

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront solves the challenge of managing complex projects and cross-team work by centralizing tasks, timelines, and communication in one place. That benefit for me is clearer priorities, fewer status meetings, and better visibility into who’s doing what and when—so projects stay on track and teams stay aligned.

 ### 29. Flexible and Configurable, But Needs Add-Ons

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David V. | Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I find Workfront to be a flexible and useful tool. I appreciate its configurability and flexibility, which allow it to adapt to each team's needs while staying organized and compliant.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I find that Workfront needs Fusion add-ons to work well. The initial setup wasn't easy and required a partner.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to keep workflow in good order and for taxonomy governance. It's flexible, allowing it to adapt to each team's needs while keeping everything organized and compliant.

 ### 30. Streamlines Project Management with Stellar Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I have a good experience with Workfront. It streamlines project management, collaboration, and resource management with features like automated workflows, real-time collaboration tools, and centralized planning and intake, which increase efficiency. Workfront provides a central platform for creating, managing, and visualizing marketing plans and connects them to execution. I appreciate its ability to integrate with other cloud services, like Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Analytics, which is particularly beneficial for marketing teams. The initial setup of Workfront was as easy as setting up Gmail, which is convenient.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I wish the user interface could be more attractive to reflect a more modern and AI-driven product.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to plan, track, and manage projects and workflows, streamlining project management, daily data tracking, and collaboration. It enhances efficiency by consolidating work in one platform and integrates well with Salesforce and Adobe tools, which is beneficial for marketing.

 ### 31. Streamlined Global Content Processes with Easy Setup

**Reviewed by:** Gabrielle G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really like how Workfront tracks workflows and approval processes. The option to accept or reject content during the review process is a feature I appreciate. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

the ability to review different filetypes, such as html

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for managing content creation, review, publishing, and translation processes for global teams. It tracks workflows and approval processes, and I like the option to accept or reject content during the review process.

 ### 32. Complex but Powerful Project Management with Workfront

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit G. | Business Analysis Module Lead, Telecommunications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that Workfront helps to manage complex work in a structured and controlled way. I appreciate its support for both Agile and waterfall methodologies. The strong dashboard reporting using CI/CD pipelines is also a valuable feature for me.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Reporting could be better as the options are limited. There should be more ticket status options in project management, which are also limited. It's a complex tool and is costly. Reporting should have more analytics and customization, which it lacks. The UI for project management should be easier to use, especially for those who are accustomed to JIRA. The initial setup is time-consuming as it requires a lot of admin effort.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to track software releases, manage bugs, and support tasks. It structures complex work using Agile and Waterfall, with strong dashboard reporting for performance via CI/CD pipelines.

 ### 33. Great for Organization, But Setup and Usability Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sree K. | Software Engineer II in Test, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

It really helps keep everything organized for our testing work. I can easily see which tasks need to be completed and who is responsible for each one, which is especially helpful when there’s a lot of automation going on during the sprint. I also appreciate how simple it is to comment and ask questions directly within a task, so I don’t have to chase people down via email. Having all the updates and files in one place honestly saves me a lot of time. Plus, I like that it integrates with other tools we use, so I don’t have to constantly switch between tabs. While it’s not perfect, these features definitely make a noticeable difference in my work week.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Workfront isn’t always as intuitive as I expected, particularly when you’re new to it or setting up something fresh for the testing team. There are a lot of features packed in, which is great in some ways, but it can also make the interface feel overwhelming and confusing at times. I often found myself clicking around quite a bit just to figure out how to handle basic tasks. Getting it up and running with our automation workflow took longer than anticipated, and integrating it with some of our other tools wasn’t very seamless either. Customer support is decent, but responses can be slow, which isn’t ideal when you need quick assistance. I use Workfront almost daily, but I still wish certain processes, like assigning tasks or updating priorities, were more straightforward. If they simplified some of these areas, it would definitely save us time and reduce frustration.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront has definitely helped us resolve some organizational headaches. We no longer lose track of test cases or tasks, which used to be a frequent issue. Now, I can easily see what I need to work on next and who is responsible for each item, reducing confusion within the team and making everything move faster. Status updates and progress tracking are much more transparent, which allows me to identify bottlenecks more quickly.

However, I do think there’s still room for improvement, especially when it comes to integrating with some of the automation tools we use. Syncing isn’t always seamless, and I sometimes have to enter information manually, which can be frustrating. The notification system can also feel overwhelming at times, and I wish it did a better job of highlighting what’s truly important to me. Still, overall, my work week is smoother and releases are less stressful since we started using Workfront. I just hope they continue to listen to feedback and make those small but meaningful improvements.

 ### 34. Workflow Automation That Transforms Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamleshkumar K. | Sr Consultant - QA Automation, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

The workflow automation feature is the best part, as it helps eliminate repetitive tasks. With it, we can easily automate notifications, task assignments, and approvals.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Although workflow automation provides many options, the initial setup is somewhat complicated and requires a significant amount of effort. Additionally, I have noticed some performance lag in certain instances, particularly with loading times, as it sometimes takes a while for tasks under a project to appear.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to address core work management challenges such as a lack of visibility into ongoing tasks, since everything is centralized and all task updates can be reviewed in one place. Additionally, it improves the handling of unstructured intake and requests. Instead of receiving random requests through email or chat, the system allows for requests to be managed more effectively with standardized request queues that help prioritize incoming work.

 ### 35. Efficient Task Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carizza R. | Accounts & Operations Manager, Publishing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that with Workfront everything is all in one place and easy to find, which helps in managing marketing programs efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

At the moment, the platform does not allow tasks to be tracked in two backlogs or sprint planning boards, and that makes it difficult for us. Moving from old ways of working was a challenge.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront organizes cross-functional tasks and dependencies, making everything easy to find by having it all in one place.

 ### 36. Solid Approval Flows, Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor F. | Product Manager

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that Workfront has very solid approval flows, which make it useful for marketing and legal compliance. I also appreciate the tight integration with other Adobe tools like Adobe assets and Adobe campaign. It's quite nice to have it integrated into the Adobe ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I think it's quite a steep learning curve for non PM users. The UI can feel a bit slow and cluttered. I felt like at the beginning, it was kind of like an overconfiguration risk. So it's quite easy to make it too bureaucratic.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront helps me with reports on capacity, deadlines, bottlenecks, and performance. It's good for documenting bottlenecks and using the tool in meetings. The documentation is quite solid.

 ### 37. Enhanced Task Coordination with Enjoyable UI

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I enjoy the user interface of Workfront. The review processes make sense for my department and align well with how we want to work. During the initial setup, we had an amazing implementation partner, and the Workfront resources were very helpful and had great processes.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I want more color options

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront coordinated our creative tasks, reducing issues from email. The user interface is enjoyable and the review processes align with our work style.

 ### 38. Great for Complex Workflows but Needs Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brock B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like Workfront for its WF Fusion and the user interface (UI). We run a handful of automations through WF Fusion which help streamline processes, especially with tasks like issue to project conversion using standard naming conventions.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I don't like the fact that the main hierarchy in Workfront is not flexible.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to organize work in a highly matrixed organization and run automations through WF Fusion to streamline processes.

 ### 39. Effortless Task Management with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha P. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I use Workfront for my job, and I really like the user-friendliness of the platform. It's beneficial for expediting tasks and maximizing productivity. One specific feature I value a lot is the calendar because it keeps me organized. The initial setup was very easy, though I didn't handle it myself.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Nothing, but I think it could be made more popular

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for expediting tasks and maximizing productivity.

 ### 40. Great for productivity and management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miking B. | Marketing supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

The thing that I like best about work is how easy it is to manage the calendar as well as how easy it is to automate tasks among by team I also love how easy it is to upload data as it has saved me a lot of time and money on labor I also love how my whole team can access files quickly and easily with no complaints

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The thing that I dislike the most about Workfront is the lack of checkers for AI specifically for things that my colleagues upload as some days they do get a bit lazy and they do use AI to upload important documents or to get important things done, which can really impact our client relations I feel like they should have at least some checker that I can look at quickly and be like hey why did you do the AI I need it done

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that work front is mainly solving for me is with our files as in the past when we’ve tried other resources our files have been lost or we were literally just not able to access them also in some cases it’s like some members of my team can get access to them and others cannot listen Workfront this problem has been completely eliminated it’s benefiting me because I don’t have to go out and pay overtime for the maintenance team to get it fixed or to pull back up copies. We can just get the stuff and get it done.

I use Workfront to manage my tasks efficiently and collaborate across teams, keeping all tasks in one place, which helps me set realistic goals and deliver on time. It organizes projects effectively with task and subtask for tracking.

 ### 48. Essential for Managing Complex Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ghada A. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

 ### 49. Workfront for project management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte M. | Head of Specialist Projects , Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

The Workfront platform has a variety of different features that can be customised to specific requirements, ensuring that the best configuration is in place for your particular use case.
One key benefit of the project planning side, is the ability to have templates that can readily be copied and pasted into new projects where there are reproducible steps in a process. This massively streamlines the planning stage and, with the export feature, is readily accessible to clients to monitor the progress and milestone dates in a simple, Excel output.

** Please note I am not an active user of the Workfront platform, this was during my time working at MasterControl. **

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The limited functionality for "undo" as a standard-level user. If you accidentally delete a work project item in a project plan, it requires support from an admin to reinstate (if at all). This can be time consuming and a self-serve option to revert the error would be great.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allocation of resources and project planning are key benefits provided by the Workfront platform. It is easy to assign tasks to the appropriately skilled colleagues using the calendar view - ensuring workload balance and time gaps between events, based on the pre-configured settings in the plan set-up (i.e. Task A to take 5 days with a dependency on Task B).

** Please note I am not an active user of the Workfront platform, this was during my time working at MasterControl. Therefore, I am unable to provide a screenshot of business use. **

 ### 50. Seamless Integration and Effortless Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

What I appreciate most about this product is its seamless integration and automation features. It allows me to automate approval and review cycles with ease. The integration with other cloud platforms is also excellent.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

There aren’t many negative aspects to Workfront. The only issues I recall are related to the file size limit and the API limit, which I found challenging at times. Other than that, there isn’t much that I dislike about it.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront at my workplace for daily automation tasks and team collaboration. It also provides real-time reporting of insights and helps with analyzing project performance.
