## Workfront Reviews
  ### 1. Enhances Team Collaboration, Could Improve UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle A. | Senior Sales Development Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like the opportunity to work within teams and send projects amongst each other with Workfront. It gives me greater visibility into timelines and makes sure things get completed on time. The ability to prioritize tasks more efficiently compared to Asana is a significant advantage. I also found the setup effective and seamless, taking only a few days to get started and integrate previous projects.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I think having a more seamless user interface where all the tabs are laid out in front of you and correctly, I feel that when you're juggling multiple projects at one time, it's a little bit more difficult. So maybe having a greater interface where you could prioritize them more effectively.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront is readily available for projects, improves team collaboration, ensures on-time completion, and allows efficient task prioritization across the team.

  ### 2. Workfront Keeps Projects Organized and Team Coordination on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muzammil M. | Founder – Muzammil Graphic | Interior and Graphic Designer | Transforming Spaces and Brands Visually , Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

Workfront has been very helpful for managing tasks, project updates, and team coordination over the past few months. The platform made it easier to keep track of ongoing work, deadlines, and clientrelated tasks in one place instead of managing everything manually across different tools. one thing that stood out to me was how organizeed the workflow feels. assigning tasks, checking progress, and following project timelines became much simpler for the team. The interface also feels clean and professional, so daily use does not feel confusing or overloaded. It has been useful for improving communication between team members and reducing missed updates. For businesses handling multiple projects at the same time, it can save a lot of time and help teams stay more structured and productive.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

At the beginning, one thing that did not feel very smooth to me was the learning curve for new users. Since workfront offers many project management features, understanding the full workflow and navigation can take some time, especially for smaller teams or people using it for the first time. I also felt that a few sections of the dashboard could be more simplified because sometimes finding specific project details or settings requires extra clicks. For teams handling fast moving work, a more streamlined experience would make daily task management easier. I think improving usability for new users and simplifying certain workflows would make the platform even more effective for businesses and project teams that depend on quick coordination and communication every day.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A few months ago, I started using Workfront to manage project related tasks, team coordination, and client work updates more efficiently. In the beginning, it felt a little difficult to understand because the platform has many features and workflows, so adjusting to the system took some time. After using it regularly, the experience became much smoother and more organized. It helped me keep track of deadlines, task progress, and project communication in one place instead of handling everything manually. For design and client based work, this made coordination easier and reduced confusion between team members. one major benefitS for me was better project visibility. I could quickly check pending work, assigned tasks, and updates without constantly following up with different people. Over time, it helped improve workflow management, save time, and keep projects more structured and professional.

  ### 3. Excellent Workstream Visibility with a Clear Audit Trail and Centralized Proofing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick J. | Sr. Marketing Automation Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

The best part is definitely the visibility it provides across different workstreams. I love that I can jump into a project and immediately see the full audit trail—who approved what and when. It’s also great for resource management; it gives a clear picture of my team's bandwidth so we don't over-commit. Having a single place for proofing and feedback instead of digging through endless email chains is a massive lifesaver for my daily productivity

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The UI feels really heavy and a bit clunky at times. the learning curve is steep, especially for team members who aren't project managers by trade. I also find the search and filtering logic to be frustratingly specific; if you don't know the exact project name or ID, finding a past task can take way longer than it should.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves is the total lack of visibility that usually happens in a global company. Before Workfront, tracking the progress of a campaign meant digging through hundreds of emails or chasing people on Slack just to find out who had the latest version of a brief. Now, everything is centralized.

  ### 4. Streamlined Task Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really like the feature that allows Workfront to integrate with the Creative Cloud. This integration helps me stay within one platform and eliminates the need to jump between different tools, which keeps everything in one place. It's a seamless experience that makes me more productive and prevents me from losing track of my work. Additionally, setting up Workfront was pretty easy, and the switch was seamless thanks to our IT and product teams.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

I would say the main area that's room for enhancement is more around the user interface. I feel that it could be a little bit too stacked. So bringing new users to the team could be more difficult to navigate amongst the platform until you have a lot more experience.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront to assign tasks and track who is working on each project, which keeps everything seamless in one platform and boosts my productivity.

  ### 5. Adobe Workfront: A Powerhouse for Enterprise Workflow and Creative Cloud Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

Adobe Workfront is basically the ultimate powerhouse for tying big-picture company goals to the actual day-to-day grind. If your team lives in Adobe Creative Cloud, the native integrations are an absolute game-changer creatives can handle feedback and track time without ever leaving Photoshop or Premiere. Because it’s built for massive, global teams, the interface is incredibly robust and packed with data, giving you serious AI-driven insights into team capacity and project bottlenecks. It’s definitely a premium investment that requires some real setup and training, but if you're managing complex enterprise workflows at scale, the sheer organization and ROI it brings to the table are completely worth it.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

If there's a downside to Adobe Workfront, it's that it can feel incredibly heavy and complicated for the average team member. Because it’s built to handle massive enterprise data, the user interface is pretty dense and requires a lot of clicking around just to log updates or find a specific comment. It also has a notoriously steep learning curve and a premium price tag, meaning you can't just turn it on and go it requires a massive commitment to formal training and configuration just to get it running smoothly.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fundamental problem Workfront solves is the massive disconnect between high-level company strategy and day-to-day team execution, essentially putting an end to "work about work." Instead of teams wasting hours hunting down the latest project brief, drowning in endless status meetings, or dealing with chaotic, siloed email threads for asset approvals, everything is centralized into a single operational system.

  ### 6. All-in-One Project Planning and Collaboration Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emrah . | AI Tooling Engineer, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

What I like best about Workfront is how it brings project planning, task management, approvals, and team collaboration into one organized platform. It helps teams see priorities clearly, track progress more easily, and reduce confusion by keeping communication and work details in one place.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

What I dislike about Workfront is that it can feel complicated at first, especially for new users. The interface has many options and settings, so it may take time to learn how to use it efficiently. Sometimes simple tasks can feel less intuitive than expected, and teams may need training before they can get the full benefit from the platform.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront helps solve problems related to project visibility, task tracking, communication, and approval processes. It benefits me by keeping work organized in one central place, making it easier to understand priorities, follow deadlines, and see who is responsible for each task. This reduces confusion, improves collaboration, and helps the team work more efficiently.

  ### 7. Complex but Invaluable for Large Teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praney M. | Product Design Manager 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I liked the level of workflow visibility that Workfront provided once everything was properly structured. It was great for larger projects with multiple contributors, approvals, and dependencies. The customization flexibility was also a big plus because it allowed different teams to adapt workflows based on their operational needs instead of forcing everyone into the exact same structure. The reporting and workload visibility features were useful for understanding bottlenecks and tracking project progress. I think its strongest value really shows up in teams managing complex operational workflows.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

One of the biggest challenges for us was the overall complexity of the platform, especially during onboarding and workflow setup. The UI also felt slightly dated in certain areas compared to some newer project management tools we tested. Simple actions occasionally took more clicks than expected, and some team members initially found navigation confusing. Maintaining highly customized workflows sometimes created operational overhead for admins and managers. For regular contributors or new team members, it sometimes felt harder than necessary to perform simple actions quickly. The first few weeks definitely require adjustment and internal process training.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront centralizes task ownership and approvals, solving visibility issues across teams and reducing confusion during delivery cycles. It consolidates timelines and dependencies, minimizing the need for separate tools and manual follow-ups.

  ### 8. Great Adobe CC Integration, but Cluttered UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikola K. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I like that Workfront is part of the Adobe CC ecosystem. Although my company has only recently started using it, I appreciate its potential for automation, especially when connecting data from CSV and dynamic sources. This capability, along with the ability to flow data directly to templates via scripts and integrate with Frame.io, is valuable.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The UI is often very confusing and overcomplicated. There are nonsensical buttons and sometimes things are not in a place where you expect them to be. It took quite a lot of time to set up.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workfront automates data handling by connecting CSV and dynamic sources to templates, integrating seamlessly with Adobe CC and pushing content to Frame.io.

  ### 9. Highly Customizable, Ideal for Large Enterprises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren W. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I really value Workfront's robust options for customization. These options are a huge help as they let us solve unique circumstances effectively. I also appreciate that Workfront allows us to say 'yes' to solutions most of the time, and if not, there's a space to provide feedback for future improvements.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

Reviewing the Release notes through several links to get to the content is not ideal. I wish Workfront would better prepare their customers with best practices for areas of review to consider when introducing new features, so it doesn't shift that burden to the customer. Maybe create a Workfront project to walk the system admin through the Release Review so that the information is actionable and easily surfaced for review, documentation of validation, and offer best practice for any governance or instance considerations as a result of the change. With AI, there's also an opportunity for growth to prompt, with analysis, to inform System Admins about the actionable areas of their choosing. (Great advancements in AI are coming!) Setup isn't difficult, but you will need to make sure that you have taken training and read documentation to determine governance and best practices before introducing technical debt you didn't intend.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workfront for end-to-end workflow management, which helps with specific products, services, client onboarding, and support processes. It offers robust customization options, allowing us to tailor solutions to unique circumstances.

  ### 10. Powerful Task Management, Confusing Interface

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workfront?**

I find the kanban board feature in Workfront nice and easy to use for specific projects. It's critical for our daily scrum and for me personally as a daily task tracker. It helps me keep my commitments in check, complete my leadership goals, and still take on new opportunities to help peers and customers. With the kanban board and project tracker, I can see a realistic view of my committed and free time to avoid overcommitting. I can also track and generate reports on barriers to completion, specifically items blocked by others, and escalate as needed.

**What do you dislike about Workfront?**

The UX is not great. It is very hard to find anything. The taxonomy and nomenclature is not easy to follow. It feels like a lot of assumptions were made that people already know what they are doing when this was built rather than assuming people need assistance. Creates a longer than should be required onboarding experience and even after using Workfront for many years it is hard to find a lot of things or tell what items belong to which project. Additionally, the notification emails are excessive and don't "say" anything. Use some of this fancy AI to give me a summary or filter out if this email is really an email I need. Yes, I understand you can set notification options, but still... it's frustrating. Labored. Significant learning curve.

**What problems is Workfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workfront optimizes my tasks and workloads, helps establish realistic timelines, provides team visibility, and tracks trends. The kanban board is critical for scrum, task tracking, maintaining commitments, tracking barriers, and generating reports to prevent overcommitment.
