We use expensify to keep track of all expenses we make during business trips. I love that the platform has multiple ways to capturing expense from forwarding address, to website to the app. One of my killer features is the ability to take a picture to add expense using the app. I never have to forget adding an expense and that's how easy it is!! Do you love wasting your doing admin work? If you want to manually upload receipts one-by-one then do hand categorization, this is the tool for you!

If you want to bulk upload receipts, you will absolutely crash the system. It will then create duplicates randomly. Want to sort the duplicates out? Can't. There is no sorting function in reports. Want to know why your totals don't match your credit card statement, go through one-by-one to find the errors.

Want to start with your CC statement? The matching headers will not sync. When you resolve this, you then still have to manually upload each image to each line item. Why can't you use that AI to match to most likely CC line item? Because Expensify wants you to pay penance on this earthly realm for that time you spilled juice on your mom's new rug and then blamed on the exchange student.

In all seriousness, every minute I spend on this tool is a complete waste of time. Multiply that across all of our team, and we are burning unimaginable cost on this. I'd rather do this by hand in a spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
