Being in IT it really helps us track purchases, when we sent out new equipment, and how much we are spending on hardware and software annually, which in turn helps us forecast a budget for the next year too. It has options to read receipts and break down how much the bill and tax for each platform should be. I use these services at least twice a month. I used to send the receipts to my Gmail inbox, but now Expensify allows me to send the receipts straight to the platform inbox, and it automatically converts my email into a expense report. I would fully recommend Expensify to anyone that likes keeping their reports tidy. **What do you dislike about Expensify?** The customisation part of Expensify is a little rigid. Most reports have to follow the same filling structure, but some expenses need more attention than others. An example is, getting a sandwich approved is as much work than expensing a flight, so some customisation to the forms would be ideal. **What problems is Expensify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have to write reports every month, at least twice a month. The system is simple to use and intuitive. I also love how it saves the photo of your receipt so that you can throw away the physical copy. I'm too lazy to input expenses on a regular basis so I just do it once a year ahead of tax season and it's super easy with this tool. **What do you dislike about Expensify?** Sometimes I'm unsure if I'm filtering correctly because it will show expenses that are closed or from another year. Also sometimes when the date is written as numbers - 00/00/0000 - it will take the month and input it as the day. So it's not always perfectly accurate. But the chat makes it easy to get support if needed. **What problems is Expensify solving and how is that benefiting you?** I need to log and categorize my expenses so that I can claim them against my income during tax season. Whether I'm in the middle of the airport, wrapping up dinner, or checking out of a hotel, I can snap a quick picture, enter some tags, and have peace of mind that my report is complete and I have everything digitized on the spot. **What do you dislike about Expensify?** I find the email forwarding a bit clunky - if there is a tip or a hotel expense that is not exactly and easily matched to the receipt, the site will generate a separate report. I find it very easy to just go into the created report and attach a receipt and it's very easy to do without email forwarding, but it would be nice if that feature was a bit more sophisticated. **What problems is Expensify solving and how is that benefiting you?** No more reimbursements!!!
