I really like how the new dashboard puts every tool I need on a single screen, so I don't have to search through complex menus during stressful situations. Another great feature is the way it reaches people through a phone call, text, and email all at once, ensuring the message is actually received by the recipient. The system also makes it very easy to track who has replied to safety checks, so I can see exactly who is safe in real time without making dozens of manual phone calls. One thing that I dislike is the system can be a bit overwhelming for new users because there are so many settings and options to choose from the start. It would also be better if the software had a smart way to stop sending alerts once a person has already acknowledged the message, as it sometimes continues to ping their other devices. The Everbridge Mass Notification is indeed best when it comes to quick and multi-channel communication in cases of critical events. The fact that it can instantly deliver alerts in form of texts, emails, phone calls and even push notifications will ensure that every person is informed about urgent information, no matter which method he or she prefers. The geo-targeting option is amazing to me because it can target only those who were affected, such as employees in a particular building on campus during a local event of air pollution. Keeping all lists accurate and up to date is an ongoing task, and the import process is not always as smooth as it could be. While the user interface is functional, it can feel somewhat outdated compared with more modern platforms, and certain administrative tasks are not as user-friendly as they should be. In the past, we used to scramble using phone trees and manual emails and miss people or create delays in critical incidents. We can now pre-configure templates in case of certain situations and reach our whole community, or our target groups, in a matter of minutes. Honestly, I think the best part about ever coming back to the program is that it makes a chaotic process much more structured. The fact that I’m literally half asleep on my couch right now, but I can still walk you through our on-boarding process because its’ just laid out, is huge. Once you understand how the conditional logic works, the tasks will be sent to the appropriate personnel automatically, and you won’t have to chase anyone down. When you’re charged for the number of users you don’t even have, that’s just how the company operates. Building something with complexity for the first time will take trial and error and will definitely drive you crazy. The price, like seriously is really frustrating, small teams are penalized and you pay for users you don’t even have and apparently, that’s how the whole system works. Also, every time you build something new the first time you’re doing trial and error and it WILL drive you crazy. On top of that if you run a large workflow, the notifications can get out of control and it took me forever to figure out how to make the notifications reasonable. What I like most the AI filtering in Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management). It's effective at distinguishing between real events and fake threats or unconfirmed reports. The notifications we set are always correct and accurate, which helps avoid unnecessary fear for our employees. The setup is much more intuitive than the previous tools that we use, and the setup guide helped link our HR data and office location in just a few days, even though the setup itself is complex but doable. Everbridge let us to always prepare for the worse and using the mass notification to alert our employee in real-time for incoming crisis or emergency events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management)? I think they need to work more on the AI because I wish there was some visual way to teach the AI sometime. It is hard to see why the AI decided to filter out some specific event without digging deep into the setting and what happened is it will produce a false report or inaccurate situation. It intelligently filters relevant data, reducing unnecessary alerts. The software does the heavy lifting of risk analysis, letting me focus on solutions. I use it to deliver warnings in various ways, and this ensures that there is a clear communication. Its functionality follows various applications, ranging between straightforward modifications to emergencies. I liked the automation of alerts the most. There is a lot going on today, I apologize if I seem to be yelling, but basically - when something critical occurs; Everbridge 360 will automatically notify the correct individuals, eliminating the need for manual tracking of all team members. We are responsible for managing many different locations and prior to using Everbridge 360 critical items often went un-notified and/or fell between the cracks during incidents. Now we have a workflow, it runs as planned, the correct individuals receive notifications and assignments are made for those affected by the critical item. The initial setup of Everbridge 360 took a significant amount of time, users cannot simply log-in and begin using the software without first properly mapping out their response processes and procedures. Also, Everbridge 360’s auto-correct feature consistently changes “escalation” to a non-desirable word choice – while this issue is not specific to Everbridge 360, it did contribute to my frustration level today. In essence, our organization required a solution that allowed us to ensure that when a critical occurrence occurred, the response to that occurrence was not dependent upon one individual to remember to contact another individual. Everbridge 360 provides a solution to this problem by automating the chain of notifications involved in responding to a critical occurrence. For a team that responds to critical occurrences at multiple sites, Everbridge 360 allows all team members to respond based upon the same plan (playbook) during a critical event as opposed to responding based upon their own judgment (improvising). The reason I find Everbridge Mass Notification interesting is that it provides me with a feeling of certainty that I am able to get all the updates sent to all employees in the shortest time possible. I often make use of it to send safety messages, changes in operations or urgent reminders. This at times postpones alerts of an urgent situation in my position. Although the platform itself provides a ton of options, it can involve additional effort to identify the appropriate settings to use on targeting, timing, and delivery, a factor that may have a short-term negative impact on the efficiency of work.
