I'm most impressed by how it adds dependability to critical communication processes. The features make it easier to communicate to the right people, and that has helped to minimise errors during emergencies. I appreciate it enhances trust with sharing urgent information with teams. I use Everbridge 360 (Critical Event Management) as a simple safety app to keep our team safe and informed. I love the tools for simple check-ins and the SOS button. The simple process for employee check-ins just requires tapping a button to confirm safety during emergencies. Additionally, the SOS button is very helpful because if an employee is in trouble while traveling, they can press it to immediately alert the system and send their location on the platform. Some of the demo video and guidance video haven't been updated to match the new software versions release, which makes it confusing to find specific settings. I can say that the mass notification aspect does work. Honestly though I needed it for. When there is some sort of event occurring you don't want to be messing around. So far I have not had to. You are able to establish contact groups and templates prior to an emergency occurring, when an incident occurs you simply fill in details and send. Not rebuild the wheel. Setting up and configuring the product initially will require a person who is familiar with parameterizing a large amount of data. If that is not available within your organization it may take a significant amount of time to configure. Prior to implementing Everbridge 360, we were using email chains and phone tree systems to coordinate critical events. As bad as that sounds, this was our method for coordination. With Everbridge 360 all of these processes are centralized into one system/process. In addition to providing a centralized solution, Everbridge 360 creates an audit trail of all activity. I like that, for the most part, the system is easy to navigate when using it at a basic level. While it can be more complicated at the admin level, depending on build outs, customization, etc, the support team that we work with is helpful. The integration of the different products attempts to seamlessly move across the features and operations that we need in critical situations.Overall, this system is fully integrated into the operations of our segments across the globe. we rely heavily on its operations and functionality so i is a positive that we can work across the platforms as needed. I find that some of the functionality is not "smart" in that some tasks, many basic seeming connections, do not exist without extensive customization and build outs. I also find that product development for some critical functions, such as geocoding in non-domestic US locations, can be abysmal at best and failing completely at worst. This has been an on going issue for years now and is one of our biggest complaints from our team. Some of the system seems to lack intuitive function. With our need of sending messages and use of the system, we can not afford to lose functionality in the system for issues that should not exist. Everbridge 360 CEM has truly changed the way that our organization identifies and responds to crisis events. It helps us to geo-locate incidents in relation to our people and assets to ensure that we are receiving information on events that are relevant and actionable for our business. It filters out the "noise" of risk events that are outside of our scope of responsibility while still ensuring that we are aware of major events that have a global impact. It's flexibility also allows us to utilize the platform for supporting various business units outside of corporate security and business resilience, including IT, facilities, and R&D. We rely on Everbridge 360 to communicate effectively and efficiently with our employees and key stakeholders around the world, to keep them informed and to ensure their safety during times of crisis. I find the strong multi-channel delivery of Everbridge to be great. We are also able to send critical alerts at the same time using text, email, phone calls and even social media so that everybody receives the message. Its geo-targeting option is also incredibly valuable, when there is a localized incident, we can easily target the affected people, without raising the alarm of others. It is a little complicated to sort and label contacts exactly to all the various situations we require. Previously, the only way to contact our entire organization in case of a critical event was through manual phone trees and slow email blasts which could not only get us confused but also slow down in response. It is possible now to activate pre-defined scenarios in minutes in Everbridge and deliver clear and consistent messages across all the relevant channels. When the thing changes rapidly, it is not always easy to change the message paths.
