**What do you like best about Membrain?**

Easy to use & really straight forward, the thing I like the most so far, is the active pipeline screen it always keep me on my toes with my active leads.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

When I am on the active pipeline screen (is the one I use the most), when I place the mouse cursor on the sales projects shown a window pops out with the project information which is ok, but there's something missing that would be really helpful for me and my organization, that would be the project sales number. In order to get the SP-# I have to access the project and that's kind of a push back when I want to do a quick check. 

Updating my review, the best thing of Membrain so far it's the flexibility when it comes to customization based on your needs, for example, the situation exposed in the previous paragraph was really easy to fix thanks to it's customization flexibility.

Latest update, I believe the Comments, Mentions & Reactions notifications system is not that sharp, you can easily miss those notifications, maybe if they are back them up with a notification email will improve their visibility.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, it has improve the tracking of the sales projects I have on pipeline and for organizational purposes there's a better visibility of our sales performance.

**What do you like best about Membrain?**

The Customer Service is top notch. If you have any questions, they are quick to help and the level of expertise is high. The software is user friendly and has a nice interface. The ability to customize your workflows and processes within the software is strong as well. We even were able to connect in with their API and push and pull data with our own database.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

While the customization options are excellent, there is a lot of work to do to customize them and be able to use them well. They have a strong onboarding process, but we did not have a good vision of what we wanted to accomplish until later and then we had to invest a good bit of time to figure out how to customize it for our personal use.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has all the standard CRM expectations that you will get with any CRM. However, it is the sales enablement concept that I appreciate. It allows us to build our sales process into the software and coach/train our team with it.

**What do you like best about Membrain?**

I love how much this platform simplifies the CRM experience. It did take me a little time to adjust after moving from Salesforce, but I’d honestly hate to have to go back to the clunky monster that Salesforce felt like. The mobile app is much easier to use and makes it simple to add notes and fill in fields with voice-to-text. Overall, I really love it.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

The email feature doesn’t have the same look, feel, or functionality as Outlook, which makes it a bit clunky. Because of that, I honestly haven’t really used it as my go-to tool for creating emails.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use for the CRM. It’s way easier once you get how it flows.

I used Membrain in a previous role as part of a sales team to manage pipelines and track opportunities. What stood out was how structured the platform is around the sales process. It made it easy to follow each stage of a deal, keep notes, and stay aligned with defined sales activities. The interface was clear, and it helped keep everything organized without feeling overwhelming.

It can take some time to get used to the structured approach, especially if you're coming from a more flexible CRM. Some customization options and integrations felt limited depending on the use case, and certain updates required admin involvement.

Membrain helped bring more consistency and visibility to the sales process. Instead of managing deals in an unstructured way, the platform guided the team through each stage, making it easier to track progress and identify gaps. This improved follow-ups and made pipeline management more predictable and efficient during my time using it.

**What do you like best about Membrain?**

I like that Membrain was designed by salespeople for salespeople, which makes it intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't require a lot of training to be effective at creating dashboards. Unlike many CRMs, it's robust yet easy to use. It's simple to adjust and optimize for unique sales projects and prospecting. I also appreciate how easily it connects to my objective management group, allowing me to bring assessments into Membrain and coach on sales DNA and skills.

I have not found areas that are deficient in my practice. It is constantly being improved.

I use Membrain to systematically manage sales projects and ensure I follow my sales process. It helps me create and optimize sales processes for clients, manage ongoing accounts effectively, and track coaching clients' progress with consistent notes.

I appreciate that Membrain is very customizable. We're in the construction industry that has several competing CRM programs but we've stuck with Membrain for over 10 years due to the customer support, flexibility, and value.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

Inability to use or report from custom fields, depending on where you're exporting from. Inability to break down the annual goal into different sizes of quarterly goals. (We have certain quarters requiring more sales, Membrain divides the annual goal evenly)

Can't export history (wins/archive/etc) from a contact. Would like to export our employees win history as a means to verify resumes we use on proposals.

Would like to see more flexibility in the layout on sales projects and contacts. (E.G. - when you create dashboards and have the ability to move them around on the view and change the size, etc.)

Additional information on dashboards in the key area. Not enough info. More customizable graphs in dashboards.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple departments selling to win projects. We were able to eliminate redundancy of our precon department that was tracking the same info, in addition we have eliminated errors from multiple entries, min-naming pursuits, etc. We are able to produce sales projections in a timely and efficient manner now.

I really like Membrain for its flexibility and a wide range of features, which allows us to customize the CRM to suit our exact needs. Their customer support is excellent and has been very helpful in guiding us through the setup process step by step. It's impressive how they've taken our suggestions for minor additions on board and included them in their future development roadmap.

I think there are a few minor additions that can be added, but even those have already been identified and passed onto their customer support team. They took those suggestions onboard and even included them to their future development roadmap. It was difficult to know where to start with the initial setup, however the team in Membrain were able to guide us through things step by step.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Membrain gives us a full suite of CRM features with valuable customization for our sales needs. Its flexibility and excellent customer support make it adaptable for various business types, tailoring exactly to our requirements.

What I appreciate most about Membrain is its intuitive design and high level of customization. I rely on it every day to monitor new projects and oversee customer accounts, and it adapts seamlessly to our unique requirements. The platform is very user-friendly, accessible from both my computer and my phone, and provides excellent visualization tools, including dashboards, graphs, and trend tracking. It enables me to keep all project and customer information organized and easily accessible in one place, which has significantly enhanced our team’s efficiency and collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

Occasionally, the dashboards can be a little slow to load or respond, though I suspect this is due to the large volume of data I’m working with rather than an issue with the system itself. Aside from that, the tool has proven to be both reliable and practical.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Membrain has made it much easier for me to centralize all information related to new projects and customer management. Previously, our data was often spread across various files and emails, which complicated tracking progress and following up with customers. With Membrain, everything is now organized in one place—from project stages and timelines to communication history—making it simple to update and share information with the team.

**What do you like best about Membrain?**

Mebrain is process software. It makes business operations, especially around growth, repeatable, predictable, and scaleable.
We've adopted the software in each part of our organization, and have built a core service offering around the product, paired with our IP and training, to sell to our primary customer. 

The team is staffed by humans, versus large company drones. They'll take time to hear feedback, and sincerely care about helping you use and adopt the software.

There are quite a few integrations, including Zapier -- which makes it easy to get it talking. The API and webhook documentation is also public, and we've built our own hooks into the software straightforward enough. 

Once people are trained, it is easy to see the impact of the software. Much like riding a bike, you are fine once you've practiced.

We use the software in our daily applications, as well with every sale and customer we support. It's the core of what we do.

When it comes to roll out, they have a structured onboarding plan (ClearPath) that should be mandatory, but you can choose to opt out of. When we onboard customers, we also provide an onboarding service.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

There is a learning curve, as with every software. Even with our offering, which makes the product fully customized, a customer will get out of membrain according to their investment.
you can't expect to get up and functional with only a couple hours of videos. You need to plan a structured onboarding.

Sometimes it can be difficult to get them to acknowledge a gap or bug in the software -- which leads to frustration.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We exist so MSPs evolve beyond owner led sales into predictable growth. Without having a process toolset to support and enable our customers, we wouldn't be able to pursue our mission. Membrain is a key partner and strategic ally for our business. 

For our customers -- we target technical individuals who aren't "natural sellers"
The tool helps them understand the science of sales, which helps allow them to succeed when we plug in the artists (sales professionals) to work the process for them.

I have not been using the system as long as my predecessor; however, I do enjoy all the customization that can be input in the system to help track any and all things related to sales. The support team is very helpful as it is a robust system that can do a lot. It may not be the easiest to use at first, but after you have everything setup as you like, it's easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

There are some areas of the dashboard that are a little difficult to setup charts, etc. Part of this is due to how my predecessor defined tasks, etc. 

If there were a couple of preset templates, that would be very beneficial to use as a starting point and then update from there.

**What problems is Membrain solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and understanding our sales cycle and the average time it takes for us to bring on different types of customers. We use it more as a way to track different metrics.

In terms of preset templates, this is something we already have in place, precisely to help you get started.
We offer prebuilt analytics views, such as the Active Pipeline, Performance, and Win/Loss Analysis views, as well as graph templates in Dashboards to start you off, which you then can fully customize to your liking. In Dashboards, when clicking "Create new graph" and selecting a module, you will find a templates gallery on the right-hand side of the dialogue.

I use Membrain every day - its a great CRM! The Task setting feature is something I can't live without. 

Intelligent integration across related projects - removing a contact from a company in one click updates all related projects.

Its easy to create and implement a repeatable process for each client. You can also automate workflows to run on autopilot.

Easy to use and the Membrain customer support team are always quick to respond and super helpful.

Membrain meet can replace Calendly.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

The email feature needs some UX/UI help - theres no undo button and the fonts get all weird when you copy paste from a difference source - even if you paste in a way that matches the destination style.

Would also be great to add some more email formatting options like what is available in Gmail - e.g. newsletter style etc.

The calendar feature needs a few tweaks to make it more user friendly - especially with recurring invites.

Membrian is my second brain - as a Client Services Manager it is a wonderful system that I can offload my brain into and easily delegate tasks to my team.

**What do you like best about Membrain?**

I've been using Membrain for over a year now. It's a very visual CRM with a number of features that I wouldn't want to live without now that I've used them:

- a Kanban-style / visually appealing interface that includes the flexibility to align projects under corporate parent (very useful for us)
- an enhanced and integrated Quotes section which might well have been inspired by user feedback (mine! I'm sure many others as well)
- enhanced automated integration of social links
- full control over pipeline design and flow
- a strong reporting engine which is very flexible

For new users, getting up to speed with the Membrain product is straightforward. Very different from other list-style CRMs I've used, which feel very rudimentary in comparison.

I've been particularly impressed with the engagement from their support team, who listen to my problems and help me refine solutions, suggest integrations (of which there are many), and generally make my sales life easier.

**What do you dislike about Membrain?**

Would love to see a native Notion integration. Would also like to see integration of AI-transcoding of meetings integrated into the CRM.

I've been using Membrain's Prospects feature to create lists of potential sales targets, and their Sales Projects feature to drive sales where we've had engagement.

1. I wish there was a copy button, like if I hover over an email address or phone number or contact name it would copy it so I can paste it into a different form I am filling out.
2.  I wish addresses were 10000 times easier to enter.  It takes forever
3. I wish I could take a picture of a business card and it would enter it automatically
4.  I wish the app could be used on Android
5. I wish i could put a custom signature in the emails
6. I wish I could import info from industry select-for Free
7. I wish when I made a task I can attach a contact so their email and phone number comes up.

Maybe it's the way it's set up from my company, but there are duplication areas, and when I move a lead from prospect to qualified I have to go backwards to see initial engagement activity, rather than seeing it all thread through.

3. Through you people - coaching conversations on the behaviours that is driving sales and the ability to track these coaching conversations
4. While delivering customer value - understand the value delivery and how best to close the gap between the expectation and experience.

A minor difference exists between a PC and an iPad in operation inside Membrain. This creates some issues when working with a salesperson while on the phone, where they are on an iPad and I am on a PC, instructing them how to access information.
