What do you like best about NinjaOne?

Automations work as expected, patching (software and OS) is reliable, Ninja Remote is easy to use for both us and end user, remote powershell/cmd works well too. (There's now even background remote so we can log on and view event viewer for example without disturbing end user). NinjaOne is very easy to set up, customer service is fantastic and I often hear from my account manager who wants to check in with us. Active Discord community where both other customers and NinjaOne staff are on hand to assist. I am able now as well to remote into my Linux devices!

I like how I can see everything in one portal and that they are always adding new features. Even better is we can SSO onto the platform and it supports passkeys!

We are using it for documentation and our IT knowledge base and it is good to have everything in one place for our techs. I am also using it for vulnerability management between Defender and Crowdstrike as it's good to have everything in one place on the system I can actually do remediation work on and patching.

I have recently started testing backups with my NAS and this was so easy to set up, I am speechless! We use it to backup our servers too (even Linux now!) and even doing an image back up lets us go on and download individual documents for when a user has 'misplaced' something and we don't want to do a full server recovery. Although it does let us do a full recovery too easily using the tool that NinjaOne provide. That has worked well with our vSphere environment and provided a full server image recovery.

What do you dislike about NinjaOne?

Devices that are offline are shown as unhealthy on the dashboard which I would prefer to not be included in the statistics. It does let me customise other health information though which is good.

I wish I could run patching/scripts on a scheduled basis if its missed, I think this is an upcoming feature... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NinjaOne solving and how is that benefiting you?

OS and Software patching and showing at a glance which devices this has failed on, and most importantly for us being able to automate scripts on devices which helps us keep other aspects of the workstations up to date. This has saved us countless hours of work not just for the IT team but saved a lot of chargeable time being lost from our fee earning staff.

I also now have it monitoring my online servers as an uptime monitor to see if they are offline so I can find out before my users tell me.

It is also providing us with backups and I can quickly access them via NinjaOne to download a file a user has mistakenly deleted (even on Linux!). There is also an option to do a full image restore which we have been able to do when transferring a broken workstation into a virtual machine which is something we would not have been able to easily do before NinjaOne.

We also use it for MDM to ensure that company owned iPhones and Androids are being updated and we can remote wipe them and change passcodes if users forget them. What do you like best about LogRocket?

One of the features I use the most is Session Replay, and it does a lot more than just record the screen. It captures the full context of a session, including user interactions, navigation, network requests, console errors, and other important events, all in one place. Most of the time, replaying a session is enough for me to understand a bug that would've taken hours to reproduce on my own. Even with all that information, moving between session replays, errors, performance metrics, and events feels really smooth. I never feel like I'm jumping between a bunch of different dashboards just to figure out what's going on. Another thing I appreciate is having Core Web Vitals, performance insights, JavaScript error tracking, and network monitoring built into the same platform. Instead of switching back and forth between different tools, I can handle most of my debugging without ever leaving LogRocket, and honestly, that saves me a lot of time every week. What do you dislike about LogRocket?

One thing I've learned is that Session Replay isn't meant to replace good event tracking. Sometimes I can see exactly what a user is doing, but without the right custom events, I'm still missing the "why" behind those actions. That's where good instrumentation makes all the difference. LogRocket is already a great tool on its own, but once you combine it with a solid analytics strategy, it becomes much easier to understand what's actually happening instead of just watching a replay. What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?

Every time we roll out a new feature, I like to spend some time watching how people actually use it. There's almost always a gap between the way we think something will work during development and what real users end up doing. LogRocket is usually one of the first tools I open after a major release. More than once, I've noticed buttons people completely overlook, forms that create unnecessary confusion, or workflows that seem obvious to us but not to the people using the product. Those little discoveries have led to improvements we probably wouldn't have made otherwise. That's what I value the most. Instead of relying only on charts and usage metrics, I can actually see how people interact with the product, and that gives me a lot more confidence when it's time to decide what to improve next. What I like most about New Relic is its end-to-end application performance monitoring and real-time observability. Real-time monitoring of applications, infrastructure, and services. Distributed tracing for identifying bottlenecks across microservices. Custom dashboards and alerts for proactive monitoring. What I like best about Datadog is its ability to provide deep observability across infrastructure, applications, logs, cloud services, and identity platforms from a single pane of glass. Having used Datadog for an extended period, I've found its dashboards, alerting capabilities, and correlation between metrics, logs, and traces to be extremely valuable for both proactive monitoring and incident response.

As an administrator, I appreciate the flexibility in creating custom dashboards, configuring monitors, and tuning alerts to reduce noise while ensuring critical issues are detected early. What do you dislike about Datadog?

While Datadog is a mature and feature-rich platform, one area that can be challenging is cost management at scale. As environments grow and more teams onboard services, log ingestion, custom metrics, and data retention costs require ongoing optimization and governance. I've also found that in large enterprise deployments, alert tuning and monitor management need regular review to avoid alert fatigue and maintain signal-to-noise quality.

Another area for improvement is that some advanced configurations and cross-product features can have a learning curve for newer administrators. While the platform offers tremendous flexibility, fully leveraging its capabilities often requires experience and a well-defined monitoring strategy.

I love Coralogix for its integrations, which are incredibly helpful. The ability to manage costs via the TCO optimizer in subsystems is fantastic and aids in unit optimization. We also find it particularly useful for monitoring our metrics, which is a big help for our on-call team. Additionally, the seamless setup for new clusters allows us to easily create documentation with our different EKS setup. I find the licensing and pricing model complex, and it's sometimes difficult to predict as our environment scales. There's a learning curve for new users due to the large number of features and configuration options. Creating highly customized dashboards and reports can sometimes be less intuitive than expected. Improving ease of use, reporting flexibility, and cost transparency would definitely make the overall experience better. The main areas of improvement are pricing and transparency, ease of onboarding for new users, and more intuitive dashboard customization. What do you like best about CubeAPM?

We run a lot of microservices. Image processing, AI inference, image delivery and API serving - all separate, and keeping an eye on all of them was getting complicated. CubeAPM helped bring that together. Traces, logs and infra in one place, and the correlation between them is what actually helps when something in the pipeline breaks.

Support is the other thing. We have a shared Slack with their team and I'd say the response time is genuinely fast. Not the usual open-a-ticket-and-wait experience.

And the migration was smoother than I expected. We were already on OpenTelemetry so most of our instrumentation just carried over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CubeAPM?

GPU monitoring. We run inference workloads on GPU machines and I can't see GPU utilization inside CubeAPM, so I still have to check that elsewhere. Hoping they add this at some point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CubeAPM solving and how is that benefiting you?

Less time jumping between tools when something goes wrong. That's the main thing. When our image processing API starts throwing errors or latency spikes, the on-call team can trace back to the cause a lot faster now.

I use IBM Instana for real-time application performance monitoring across our applications and infrastructure. It helps me track service dependencies, analyze distributed traces, identify performance bottlenecks, and investigate incidents more quickly. What I like most about IBM Instana is the level of automatic visibility it provides with relatively little manual configuration. The automatic discovery of applications, services, infrastructure, and their dependencies is especially valuable, as it quickly builds a clear picture of how the environment is connected. I also appreciate the combination of real-time monitoring, distributed tracing, and infrastructure metrics in one interface. This makes it easier to move from a high-level alert to the specific service, request, or infrastructure component causing the issue. The visual service maps and detailed transaction traces stand out because they make complex microservices environments much easier to understand and troubleshoot. The main area that could be improved is the initial learning curve. Instana provides a large amount of data, but the interface can feel quite dense when you first start using it, especially when navigating between services, traces, infrastructure metrics, and incidents. What do you like best about Atera?

The combination of Remote Monitoring and Management, Ticketing & Help Desk, and Patch Management is where Atera becomes genuinely useful for us. I no longer need a technician to maintain a separate spreadsheet of devices that still need attention and then spend time matching that list against open incidents and inventory records. When a machine goes offline, starts showing performance issues, or fails to install a patch, that information stays tied to the environment and to the support work around it. The IT department plans also bring RMM, ticketing, the service portal, automation, and Windows, macOS, and Linux support into the same workflow, which matters when the infrastructure is spread across different locations and device types. IT Automation Profiles have been especially helpful for turning repetitive maintenance into planned work, instead of something people do only when they remember. We use them for restarts, temporary-file cleanup, restore points, script execution, routine maintenance, and update policies. That same flexibility also makes it easier to scale a bad configuration, which we learned during an office expansion. We initially applied the same profile to devices with very different roles. Regular workstations behaved as expected, but two machines running overnight processes restarted during a window that made no sense for them. Nothing was technically wrong with the automation; the mistake was ours for treating every endpoint as if it had the same operational context. What do you dislike about Atera?

File handling during remote support could still be smoother. When a technician only needs to drop a small installer or package onto a device, I’d prefer a more direct transfer process that doesn’t require launching a full remote session and potentially disrupting the user. It’s not a major limitation, but it happens often enough that it becomes part of the technician’s routine instead of just an occasional inconvenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Atera solving and how is that benefiting you?

A new security policy had to be deployed across several offices without disrupting teams working different shifts, so we started with a pilot group and used IT Automation Profiles to run scripts, apply configuration changes, and schedule updates through Atera. During the first phase, Remote Monitoring showed that several devices were not reconnecting after the restart. The Ticketing System gave the technicians enough device and activity context to separate real failures from computers that had simply been powered off by their users. We also caught a profile with the wrong maintenance window after it started acting on two workstations earlier than planned. The deployment was paused, the policy was corrected, and the remaining devices were moved through smaller groups instead of continuing with the original batch. Patch Management then showed which machines had completed the update and which ones still needed intervention, while the dashboard gave us a shared view of open tickets, technician workload, and pending endpoints without asking each technician for a separate status report. Atera did not make the rollout risk-free, and it certainly did not compensate for a poorly grouped device policy. What it gave us was enough visibility to catch the mistake before it reached the rest of the organization, connect technical execution with support activity, and close the project based on the actual state of the devices rather than a checklist that claimed the work was finished.
