Devices that are offline are shown as unhealthy on the dashboard which I would prefer to not be included in the statistics. It does let me customise other health information though which is good.

OS and Software patching and showing at a glance which devices this has failed on, and most importantly for us being able to automate scripts on devices which helps us keep other aspects of the workstations up to date.

I also now have it monitoring my online servers as an uptime monitor to see if they are offline so I can find out before my users tell me.

It is also providing us with backups and I can quickly access them via NinjaOne to download a file a user has mistakenly deleted. There is also an option to do a full image restore which we have been able to do when transferring a broken workstation into a virtual machine which is something we would not have been able to easily do before NinjaOne.

What I dislike about LogRocket is that it can sometimes be heavy and noisy, especially in complex apps:

Session replays can be slow to load or laggy at times

High data volume makes it harder to find the exact session you need without very specific filters

It can capture a lot of noise, so meaningful signals (the real bug trigger) aren’t always obvious

There’s some setup/maintenance overhead to get masking, sampling, and performance tuned correctly

Cost can scale up quickly as session volume grows

LogRocket addresses the problem of limited visibility into real user issues in production. Rather than relying only on logs, screenshots, or vague bug reports, it provides a full replay of what the user actually experienced.

For me, this is valuable because it makes hard-to-reproduce bugs much easier to understand. It shows the exact user actions that led to the issue, and it brings frontend errors, network failures, and UI state together in one place. It also reduces the back-and-forth with product or support teams to clarify reproduction steps, which speeds up root cause analysis and helps validate fixes more quickly.

New Relic can feel complex for newcomers. The platform is powerful, but understanding all its dashboards, APM details, and configuration options takes significant time.

From not knowing their product at all, to being able to get value out of the logs and build a dashboard in about 8 hours of work is mind blowing. Their product is lean and mean... No fluff. The app management tool is great, but it would be even better with more transparency during the install process. A progress bar and ETA for each app would help us manage our time better. Also, since many updates require a restart, having the ability to automatically schedule a reboot for right after the install finishes would be a huge lifesaver for our workflow. Managing hardware and app issues is much faster now that everything is under one roof. We can check disk space, memory, and IP info at a glance, which saves a ton of time. The remote desktop integrations (AnyDesk/Splashtop) are rock solid, and being able to store login info for dedicated machines makes supporting our power users a breeze. In our current context,

As our infrastructure or application footprint grows, storage costs increase proportionally and can become a major expense. If we need to retain data for extended periods, expect those costs to rise even further (so storage necessity is the key).

Just like other platforms, Datadog also offers numerous integrations with third-party platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Jira. We leveraged on all these channels initially that lead to increased costs, as each integration added complexity and resource usage along with increase complexity implementing them. We had to strip someof them to manage cost and purpose of applications at different environment levels.

There are so many options for same purpose but without proper guidance or complete understanding of that usecase, we may en dup implement more than what is required. So purpose is key here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datadog is helping us providing the complete picture of problem with some initial details and by giving us a single platform to monitor 50+ microservices across 40+ AWS accounts, so nothing slips through the cracks. we have some first hand information based on automation or test suits logs, we know where to check, leading to less turn around time.

2. It tackles incident management/response challenges with real-time alerts, on-call integration, and automated triage, identifying similar patterns, notes around the service and resolution documents helping us fix issues before they impact customers at large extend. Its integration to different platforms we manage (almost all) is really a value add.

3. Built-in health checks and test suites keep our systems in shape, while integrations with AWS, PagerDuty, Slack, and more make the whole workflow smooth and connected. Datadog eliminates tool silos and creates a smooth workflow for monitoring and incident resolution.

4. From service-level segregation to rich dashboards, Datadog turns most of our log data into simple insights for engineers and execs alike. In Dynatrace, we can set up alerts based on anomalies as well as static thresholds. It can notify you before your application goes down, or when any issue occurs, helping you keep things secure. We can also set service-level boundaries for SLA, SLO, and SLI. In addition, we can create multiple dashboards for the DevOps team to keep an eye on the application’s performance. You have to create a work around to be able to update Windows 11 to the latest service pack.

The UI and dashboard experience could be more polished and intuitive. A bit more consistency in layout and interactions would improve usability. Additionally, AI-driven observability features (such as automated root-cause analysis or smarter anomaly detection) could be further strengthened to add more proactive insights. CubeAPM helps us quickly identify performance bottlenecks, slow transactions, and runtime issues across our applications. Earlier, it was harder to pinpoint the exact service or method causing latency, which increased troubleshooting time. With CubeAPM’s APM and runtime metrics, we now get clear visibility into request flows and system behavior, allowing us to detect and resolve issues much faster.

This has reduced downtime, improved overall application stability, and helped the engineering team move from reactive firefighting to more proactive performance monitoring. One of the things I dislike about Tines is that when working with run script events, I really miss having a more advanced integrated development environment (IDE). I understand that Tines is not intended to function as a traditional development tool, but having a more robust script editor would be very helpful when building more complex workflows. Tines helps us solve the challenge of integrating various tools and platforms into one seamless workflow. We use Tines to connect our messaging platform with other tools, allowing us to centralize communications and actions. For example, we can create comments in external tools directly from our messaging platform, ensuring that everything stays in one place. Additionally, we automate task creation for our teams, assigning tasks through Tines by simply filling out a form. One of the biggest benefits is the ability to generate PDF reports from our tools automatically, eliminating the need for manual report creation.

Tines has also enabled us to integrate and automate workflows between tools that don't have native integrations. This flexibility has significantly improved our efficiency across multiple areas of our work, allowing us to streamline processes, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall productivity. My experience with IBM Instana in our organization has been largely positive. Before deploying it, we struggled to identify performance issues quickly. Since implementing it, it has helped us resolve incidents faster and has also given us real-time monitoring capabilities, which makes it easier to spot and address problems as they arise. Red Hat Smart Management exhibits strong integration with Red Hat products, which may pose challenges if considering a transition to alternative vendors down the road. Additionally, apart from these overarching concerns, a number of users have expressed criticisms about specific aspects of Red Hat Smart Management:

1.Navigating and utilizing the reporting system can be somewhat challenging. 2.While capable, the performance monitoring features may not match the robustness found in some competing products.

What I dislike about Paessler PRTG is that it can become expensive as the number of sensors increases, especially for large-scale environments. The licensing model based on sensor count may limit scalability. Additionally, the initial configuration for complex infrastructures can feel overwhelming, and advanced customization options sometimes require deeper technical knowledge. PRTG addresses the challenge of limited network visibility and slow issue detection. It helps me by delivering real-time alerts, cutting down on downtime, and strengthening overall system reliability.

Not a dislike but a feature I would like to see is ExtraHop move towards prevention. Currently, the product is good at identifying and detecting suspicious or malicious activity. Prevention can be achieved through integration with tools but it would be nice to have these native to ExtraHop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whenever we perform penetration tests, ExtraHop is always the first tool to detect the activity. Often times, the penetration testers will start their campaigns performing reconnaissance and trying to remain stealthy. Because they are not attempting to exploit vulnerabilities at this stage and may be using legitimate system tools, these actions would usually go unnoticed. By inspecting all network traffic, ExtraHop is quick to determine unusual activity on the network host even if it is not a managed device. I don’t have any major complaints, but one aspect that could use improvement is the internal documentation and the number of manual steps involved in workflows. Last9 is solving the problem of unreliable, difficult-to-understand systems in modern distributed architectures. As applications grow more complex, it becomes harder to maintain uptime, identify the root cause of failures, and ensure that services meet reliability goals. Last9 addresses this by providing structured SLO (Service Level Objective) management, real-time observability, and automated insights into system performance.

For me, this has been extremely beneficial because it helps me:

Detect issues early before they become customer-impacting incidents.

Reduce time spent on debugging, since Last9 surfaces the exact services or dependencies causing reliability risks.

Track reliability in a measurable way through SLOs instead of relying on subjective judgments.

Focus my efforts on what truly matters, thanks to clear error budgets and actionable alerts.

Deliver more stable releases, ensuring better user experience and fewer production escalations.

It guarantees me a completely stable network. Previously, I had many wifi problems; when working with a large volume of data for my job, my NAS server did not function as smoothly and reliably as it does now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Downside is, Overall , in view of compliance sometimes PII uploaded to s3 can be identified with Macie. But when its an image or pdf containing photo copies of such personal sensitive information its hard to identify. It might be stored on the ec2 or s3. But figuring out it is complex. We do have OCR techniques in some services, which can trigger ec2 playbooks. Yes , it can be achievable with right problem solving technique and using the required services. The biggest challenge is lack of name recognition as we leverage ENA as part of the services that we provide to our client base. From targeted marketing or more highly visible partnerships, the Entuity name needs more recognition in the IT Network world. They were purchased by Park Place a few years ago which has helped in some areas but not in the area of name recognition in the monitoring space.

One other area of concern, which is likely true with many vendors, but something we didn't used to see with the Entuity folks is they tend to defer instead of just coming out and saying 'no' to some questions. If we are asking for them to support something new that doesn't make sense to them we would appreciate a more open and honest answer. I recently met with their executive team and got those answers that their engineers will no longer provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Do a trial and work with the sales engineers. As a hosting company we have a very large and complex network and produces situations that they could not handle. The sales engineers immediately took those to development and in roughly one week we had a custom hot-fix that addressed all of our concerns. The biggest has been tool consolidation. When we are supporting a client that is having a performance problem, the ability to go to a single console to see all the network views that we care about (instead of half a dozen different products) goes a long way to reduce the time to resolution. Then on top of that are all the event management rules we can leverage to control unwanted noise and out of the box integration to our preferred enterprise management tool, BMC TrueSight.

Another major gap that we have used Entuity to fill is to have regular backups of network equipment configurations across many brands. There are still some gaps but it is narrowing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
