It notifies me when I have an HDD failing on a machine so I can plan ahead and purchase a drive to replace it and swap it out when it is most convenient for all.

I want to start with an assertive sentence. There are very few things we can't do with Solarwinds NPM. Because he is very flexible and the knowledge in his forums is great. We created incredible data with the data in NPM. You can monitor your network devices, firewalls, access points, in short, all your devices that can be monitored with snmp, if they have IOD support, to the finest detail. There are many graphical representations in NPM. Some of these are lines, gauge, pie cart, etc. You cannot use some chart types for some data types. I think it consumes a lot of system resources. No a fan of the UI - it is very unintuitive and outdated. Additionally, I really don't like that fact that it can't connect to a third party identity source (like Okta or Onelogin) for more streamlined/secure process of accessing the platform. But the UI is the biggest reason that I dislike the product - it almost feels like you need to take a course on Whatsupgold in order to use it properly - and they don't provide clear tools for you to ensure that you're getting the most bang for your buck.
