I understand it has less capabilities on the AI automation and integration parts as the tool takes a lot of time to process the information and it is a lot slow so we need to improve on that part.

I use Tines as an automation platform to streamline and manage repetitive workflows, especially in security and operations. The visual workflow builder makes it really easy to design and understand automation, even for complex processes. I don’t need to rely heavily on coding, which speeds things up a lot. It's one of the main reasons Tines is so useful to me. It turns complex automation into something you can actually see and understand at a glance, instead of digging through scripts or code. You're looking at a flow of actions with each step clearly connected. The initial setup was quite straightforward. We didn’t need heavy deployment or a long onboarding process since it’s cloud-based. I like how Tines helps us automate various SOC processes such as creating tickets in Jira for alerts and automatically updating Jira with probable solutions using the AI features. Tines University is a good place to learn about Tines and its features from basic to advanced, and it's free of cost. This makes it easy for anyone new to Tines to learn and get certified. The AI features are handy for workflow creations and they help us build workflows quickly. They also assist us in understanding many features if we are stuck, including help with formulas and actions. The initial setup was easy, just a few clicks, and we had our tenants ready. Testing individual steps can be challenging sometimes and it doesn't have the RAG feature. When trying to debug in Tines, especially with complex workflows, navigating through events of each action becomes difficult and mapping the flow event for action is challenging. Tines is really easy to use. I also appreciate how quickly they rolled out AI features, and it’s been genuinely useful for our organization. In particular, we’ve gotten a lot of value from the AI Agent features and the AI-powered formula generation.

Tines also has a great support team. We typically hear back within a few hours, and they’re receptive to feature requests, which makes a big difference.

Integrations with tools like Crowdstrike, Jira, Qualys, GCP, AWS, etc., work beautifully and have been smooth to set up and use.

None at the moment, but I’d like to share some feedback: Tines’ AI formula generation doesn’t work sometimems. Story Copilot also has a few minor bugs, and I’m hoping it improves in the future.

Tines is a powerhouse for security automation. We use it to bridge Microsoft Graph with threat intel sources like VirusTotal and AbuseIPDB for automated alerting. There is room for improvement in the AI formula assistant, as it doesn't always hit the mark. The Story Copilot could also use some polishing to iron out small bugs. Tines is starting to push into AI with copilots like Workbench, but it still feels like competitors are moving faster when it comes to AI-generated automation. What I’m looking for is natural-language input that can generate a complete workflow end to end, AI-assisted optimization for workflows that already exist, and smarter recommendations that learn from past usage patterns. The most useful feature of Tines is converting manual work into structured workflows. I have also found it very useful when performing tasks on an event basis - triggered instantly and do not require constant checking. The platform provides enough control to customize the logic whilst being visually organized (visually) and allows me to easily manage multiple processes. Another way that Tines can enhance its capabilities is by improving upon how large &/or complicated workflows are handled, as they may require additional work to always stay properly organized.. The more time spent determining organization of actions for clear understanding, the greater understanding of the platform's flexibility. I love how easy and flexible Tines is to use. The no-code builder allows non-developers like me to automate complex processes quickly. It integrates with any API, so I can connect AWS, GCP, CrowdStrike, Splunk, and Jira without needing custom connectors. 3 main pain points: 1. Large workflows get messy — 50+ step stories are hard to debug/trace. Needs better high-level visual map. 2. Error messages — Sometimes too generic. “Action failed” without saying which API field broke. 3. Version control — No native git-like diffs. Hard to track changes when multiple people edit a story.
