"Reliable and Feature-Rich Endpoint Management"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I find ManageEngine Endpoint Central incredibly valuable due to its easy access and array of features that significantly enhance my workflow. The platform offers excellent remote access capabilities, allowing me to manage our computers and inventory with ease and efficiency. The patching and security features are particularly helpful, ensuring our systems are always up-to-date and secure. I appreciate the options such as remote access, shutdown, and reboot, which make system management straightforward. Moreover, the group policy configuration streamlines administrative tasks effectively. The software deployment capability is a huge plus, as it simplifies the installation of essential programs like antivirus and endpoint protection software across the network. The initial setup process was smooth and uncomplicated, thanks to an intuitive installation package. These aspects collectively make ManageEngine Endpoint Central an indispensable tool for our IT management needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I dislike the offline agent issues in ManageEngine Endpoint Central. Sometimes laptops appear to be offline, requiring a manual reboot to appear online. This is inconvenient and disrupts smooth operations, as the devices can't be managed remotely without intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Endpoint Management That Simplifies Daily IT Work"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

What I like best about Endpoint Central is its patch management. It’s reliable, automated, and makes it easy to keep all endpoints secure. I started with the Professional license and eventually upgraded to Enterprise because the added features especially advanced patching and remote office management. Really made a big difference in day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

What I dislike about Endpoint Central is that some parts of the interface can be inconsistent. For example, certain dashboard charts sometimes display odd or mismatched characters, which can be confusing. I also frequently encounter bandwidth limitations in remote offices when I maximize usage for deployments or patching, it affects the whole site so I think I need to plan these configurations before deploying. These aren’t major issues, but they do impact the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Migration, Stellar Support, and Powerful Patch Visibility"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

Our team really appreciates this system, especially for the visibility it provides into all the patches. We can even see which version of Windows 11 is installed on each machine. Recently, we needed to remove Windows 11 25H2 due to some issues, and thanks to this feature, we were able to quickly identify the affected machines and create a script to remove it. The system is user-friendly and offers great flexibility, particularly for users who are off VPN. We can remotely access their machines to assist them, and they still receive updates from UEM even when not connected to VPN (Cloud Edition). The implementation process was extremely straightforward, and migrating from on-premises to the cloud was effortless. We rely on this system daily to support our end users, both on-premises and remotely, and it consistently performs well. Whenever I have needed assistance with the software, support has been quick to respond and even offers screen sharing if necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

There are somethings lacking for example the Browser Reporting tool that can be enabled, doesn't show what an user has been to in detail just that they went there, this can cause issue with investigation internally, however i have learned from ME that that is something that they are actively working on !! "Effortless Patch Management and Real-Time Vulnerability Updates"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

One of the biggest advantages is being able to apply patches to my entire network at once and fix vulnerabilities, and the portal receives constant updates, showing me new vulnerabilities in my network as soon as they are published, ensuring that I always have a more secure environment. What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

One of the few things I don't like about the console is that I don't have a report of software installation attempts that were blocked by the App Control module, which means I have to do more work to find out which software was blocked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Endpoint Management with Strong Security Benefits"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I primarily use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for patch management. The tool allows us to automate the deployment of security updates across endpoints, ensuring systems remain compliant and protected against vulnerabilities. Its centralized dashboard provides visibility into patch status, missing updates and compliance reports, which helps in reducing the attack surface and meeting audit requirements. What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

The user interface could be more intuitive and streamlined. While Endpoint Central offers a wide range of features, navigating through menus and settings sometimes feels cumbersome, especially for new users. Certain functions, like customizing reports or fine-tuning patch deployment policies, require multiple steps and are not always easy to locate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

There aren't many downsides other than the steep learning curve, but this is to be expected with a piece of software that offers so many features. Once you learn to use the platform effectively, it becomes a breeze to use every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface and Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I appreciate how user-friendly the interface is. The support team is both kind and efficient, which I find very helpful. There are many useful tools available on the server, which encourages me to use it every day. Installation on-premise was straightforward, and deploying it to my endpoints was also very simple. What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I found it somewhat frustrating that the Mobile Device Management feature is limited in terms of the files you can import onto devices. It doesn't allow you to place files in specific locations, and only certain general file types are supported. This means it's not possible to import settings files for custom apps, which is a drawback for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Endpoint Management with Some Learning Curve"
What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I really value the remote software deployment feature of ManageEngine Endpoint Central, which allows me to push multiple software to multiple computers simultaneously without physically accessing each machine. This includes the capability for silent installations and uninstallations, ensuring minimal disruption to users. The ability to schedule rollouts and automate updates helps streamline our processes efficiently. The remote troubleshooting functionality is particularly beneficial because it lets me address tech issues without being on-site, which is incredibly useful given our large campus. Inventory and asset tracking features have been tremendously helpful, as they provide visibility into all network-connected devices, including connections to printers and other networks, and automatically track installed hardware and software. This tracking reduces the risk of losing unmanaged devices. Overall, ManageEngine Endpoint Central saves us a significant amount of time with its comprehensive set of features, making our work much more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?

I had a hard time getting into ManageEngine Endpoint Central initially because there is just so much going on. The dashboard and user interface felt very complex and cluttered, which was overwhelming. Different tasks had multiple pathways that were hard to remember, and the names weren't as descriptive as I would have liked. This made it difficult in the beginning until I gained more experience with it. I think if it was more organized and less cluttered, it would have been more useful initially. Additionally, sometimes it is a bit laggy, especially with updates, which can take a while to process, though this might also be due to network issues. Occasionally, remote systems appear offline despite being connected to the network, which resolves itself after some time, but it's an inconvenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main challenge I face with ManageEngine Endpoint Central is related to customer support's requirement for complete log information during troubleshooting. Due to our company's strategy, I am often unable to provide full log details and this hinders the support process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
