One downside of the bills import feature is that you can end up with two entries for suppliers if the name isn't recognised fully during the import. There isn’t a proper report that clearly shows which bills, or which parts of bills, are included in the 1099 filing. It seems to rely only on vendor payments, so we had to do a lot of back-and-forth to figure it out. Also, when bills or invoices are entered at the top level, different views and reports don’t show which entity they were entered under when you run a report or when you’re viewing the bill/invoice page at the top level. Our contact at Sage said they’re fixing the issue where, at the top level, you can’t see which Entity a bill or invoice was uploaded to. They also helped a lot with our inter-entity invoicing using the AI Customer emails. Any email sent to the AI Customer email automatically posts as a bill in the Entity associated with that Customer. One downside of NetSuite is that its interface can feel complex and not very intuitive for new users, so it often requires additional training to get people comfortable. Implementations and customizations can also be time-consuming and expensive, particularly when the system needs to be tailored to specific workflows. The richness of the product requires more serious support from Acumatica that we seem to have difficulty accessing, at times. We currently use Acumatica as our VAR, and they have structural issues that have led to a negative experience. The transition from Sage 100 was initially painful, taking 3 years to convert. Sometimes QuickBooks Online has issues with the file uploads for the various transactions. Additionally, if you are uploading backup files for each transaction, it gets really time consuming. It would be much better if there were a drag/drop function as it would greatly decrease the time taken each month to handle that portion of the financial work. QuickBooks Online allows all of our fully-remote staff with financial tasks to easily access the financial data in real-time. We have team members in different parts of the USA that access our financial data, and this allows for us to all work on the finances and see the same information. It is a lower cost software product that allows us to keep up with our financial work easily and allows for easy access for our annual Financial Audits as it allows us to provide access to our CPA that does our Audit. Visibility, controls, extremely long close, organization, dysfunctional excel checklist, and recons being done ad hoc are all the main problems we were solving for with our implementation of FloQast. Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. the ability to have everything in one place, prior to that, in order to pull all the correct "fees" from Amazon, that required a a A2X integration and subscription between Amazon and QB online. That was so much work and so many things went wrong all the time, and no one wants to waste time in marlaky.
