I am, of course, sad about the demise of Places. It really was the only tool available for searching this kind of data for free, and I've used it in a lot of sights where it was really a no-brainer to implement and there weren't really any viable alternatives.

Also, I would appreciate more integrations with rapid development tools - it has occurred many times that when developing a super-quick MVP, Algolia was the longest to set up. For instance, automatic Firebase/Firestore sync would be greatly appreciated, since right now, I need to use Firebase Functions in order to manually sync the two. Not only does this slow down development time, it also makes the sync execute slower, since Firebase Functions need to boot up first.

Also, I have experiences slight issues when it comes to implementing the manual React UI - although I said that it's quite easy to use, this isn't the case when attempting to customise it. Make sure to make use of the algorithm customisation features and fine-tune indices to your liking in order to bring out the most from Algolia - it could make the difference between a 'good' and 'great' implementation. On our website CodeDragon, we use Algolia to search users and projects - it has been incredibly helpful in allowing us to broaden our search feature from just usernames and project titles to user bios and descriptions and content. It has allowed us to convey more info to the user quickly, and the InstantSearch feature means that we don't need to manually make requests.

I wish there was an overlay of comments on the heat map. Sometimes it is hard to summarize issues with one particular component (let's say a header) without the heatmap AND the comments -- so it'd be nice to have a better visual representation of these findings. Or...a word cloud above each element that was commented on? So if when users are providing feedback on imagery, if there are words that are used over and over again, having those on the screenshots would be helpful.
