PayPal has made it easy for me to receive payments from anywhere in the world, and I really appreciate that. Updating a customer's address is annoying. If you've already created an invoice or sales order and need to update the address or contact details, you need to recreate the invoice or sales order for it to grab the new details. It doesn't automatically update. Setting up a recurring invoice requires you to add the customer as a recurring customer. If the auto payments aren't run very early in the morning and you have an open invoice for that customer, it will pay all invoices if that customer was set up as recurring. I really don’t like leaving one-star reviews, but after being a generally happy Signifyd customer for years, I’m out of other options. What should have been a simple renewal has dragged on with long stretches of no response, which has made it surprisingly hard to get basic questions answered or move anything forward.

The other issue is the contract itself. The agreement we were sent contained terms and provisions that were not what we discussed and not what we expected to sign, and we weren’t given a workable path to correct those mismatches.

I’m genuinely disappointed because the product relationship has been solid historically. If you’re considering Signifyd, my advice is to be very careful during renewal: insist on timely communication and make sure the contract you receive matches what was actually agreed to.
