I really don’t like leaving one-star reviews, but after being a generally happy Signifyd customer for years, I’m out of other options. What should have been a simple renewal has dragged on with long stretches of no response, which has made it surprisingly hard to get basic questions answered or move anything forward.

The other issue is the contract itself. The agreement we were sent contained terms and provisions that were not what we discussed and not what we expected to sign, and we weren’t given a workable path to correct those mismatches.

I’m genuinely disappointed because the product relationship has been solid historically. If you’re considering Signifyd, my advice is to be very careful during renewal: insist on timely communication and make sure the contract you receive matches what was actually agreed to. Signifyd has continued to evolve since my last review, there's no complacency down there. The recent UI updates added additional intelligence points that enable us to quickly, and most important, accurately, screen for fraud. The new Power Search is a powerful tool and we've barely scratched the surface of what it is capable of. With Signifyd we haven't sent out a single fraudulent order in over 2 years now. There is a feature I've wanted for years but I'm not sure it's even possible. Signifyd notes when an individual is associated with previous chargebacks, which is fantastic, but it would be nice to have additional intelligence in regards to whether it was a fraudulent chargeback or for a legitimate reason. What I find less compelling is that, when an order is rejected, there is limited transparency about the reasoning behind the decision. This lack of clarity makes it much harder for customer service to assist and for internal teams to make informed decisions about possible exceptions.
