What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto helps out with with Payroll and setting up basic details for taxes and filings. Onboardings and offboardings are also pretty easy to use and the support team sometimes assists in a very efficient way. I use it almost every day. What do you dislike about Gusto?

I wish that Gusto could help more with tax filings and new state registration. Aalthough it may not get to the level of specificity as a PEO, it would be great if more information and help could be provided to complete such tasks. It would also be great if it would allow approvals to happen in payroll steps. Right now i am only able to input payroll change and leave it saved, and then notify the finance team via slack so they can verify on their end before processing it. What do you like best about RUN Powered by ADP?

What I like most about RUN from ADP is that it gives me control over the things I need, which makes onboarding and making edits to existing employees very easy. I also appreciate their training. What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

Their reports are inconsistent. I export the CSV files every payroll, and the order of the accounts changes depending on things like holidays, double overtime, etc. That means I have to go in and manually edit the files each time. What do you like best about Remote?

Clocking in is simple: I log in, tap once, and I’m signed in or out. There aren’t any complicated menus or drawn-out steps to get through. I can also download my paychecks whenever I want, without having to go through HR, and they’re neatly filed so they’re easy to find and access. The vacation and leave request section is straightforward too; I can quickly see how many days I have left and submit a request in seconds. Overall, the app looks great, everything is well organized, and it’s easy to navigate. You don’t need to be a tech expert to use it. I've been using daily Remote for about a month now and it's great to be able to track expenses, especially for someone like me who travels frequently. It's very useful to have a chat with a dedicated customer support operator so you can report problems without having to send emails. From my perspective as an employee, implementation was very simple: I received an email with the link to register, and within 5 minutes I had my account ready to clock in. No complicated procedures. There’s honestly nothing I’d change about Remote, mainly because it’s simple and intuitive to use. The only thing I might add is an option in Payslip Action to report payroll-related issues or submit requests directly to the relevant company team’s email address. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. I use Central to manage our payroll and benefits, and I really appreciate that it's all set up and I don't have to think about it. This makes it really easy for us. We've been using it from the very beginning when we first set up payroll for our startup company, and it's worked seamlessly the whole time. Central also manages state filings and stuff for us, which is kinda like having an HR team. It's really nice because we have Slack access to them, and it's insanely cheaper than hiring actual HR employees. Having fewer things to think about on that front is super helpful.
