What do you like best about Rippling?

I really like using Rippling because it brings most functional products like payroll, time off, T&E, into one streamlined platform. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, which saves our team time and reduces administrative back-and-forth. I especially appreciate how automated workflows keep processes moving efficiently while still giving us the visibility and control we need. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Our implementation experience with Rippling was extremely disappointing. The teams operated in silos and often seemed more focused on securing five-star reviews than ensuring we were genuinely comfortable and confident using the platform. Instead of providing hands-on, practical support, we were directed to hours of videos and tutorials. Too frequently, issues were escalated by “submitting an engineering ticket,” which made it feel as though no one on the implementation team had the expertise or authority to actually resolve problems in real time. One particularly frustrating example was when a team “took a correction payroll off our plate,” only to create significant additional issues for us. The effort required to secure any meaningful make-good was exhausting, and Rippling did very little to proactively rectify the problems or rebuild trust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rippling's automation and workflows are still in process of being built, but they will remove the admin of onboarding, off boarding, employee experience surveys, expensing, and more. What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto is incredibly user-friendly. Its super easy to find my tax forms or update my account info. The layout is clean and actually feels like a modern app you want to use. I log in often to check my pay stubs and while I haven't had to contact their customer service, I can usually find any answers I might need in their Help Center articles. What do you dislike about Gusto?

One thing I’d love to see improved is the dashboard layout. I really miss being able to see my pay info directly on the home screen as soon as I log in. Now, it feels like I have to jump through a few extra hoops just to see the basic breakdown of my latest check. I really like that ADP is a user-friendly platform. Everything is very organized and intuitive. Even if someone who has never used it before logs in, it's not very difficult to figure out. It's very comprehensive. I've used other platforms, and so far, ADP is my favorite. Customer support is good. although sometimes there is a long queue, the agents always help to resolve all questions and concerns. What do you dislike about RUN Powered by ADP?

There are some things that cannot be handled unless authorization has been granted, such as Workers Comp. This has been requested on more than two occasions, by phone and by mail, and we have not received any updates on this matter. My overall experience with Remote has been very positive so far. From the initial onboarding to receiving payroll, everything has been handled in a structured and professional manner. The steps were clearly explained, and I always knew what to expect next, which made the entire process smooth.

What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. What I like best about Asanify is its user-friendly interface. Daily I am using Asanify to give my attendance, that is clock in and clock out. After you clock in, it will automatically display when to clock out my attendance. If I click on calendar, I can clearly see list of holidays coming that month, and we can also who are all the employees on leave for the whole month. What do you like best about Central?

I use Central to manage our payroll and benefits, and I really appreciate that it's all set up and I don't have to think about it. This makes it really easy for us. We've been using it from the very beginning when we first set up payroll for our startup company, and it's worked seamlessly the whole time. Central also manages state filings and stuff for us, which is kinda like having an HR team. It's really nice because we have Slack access to them, and it's insanely cheaper than hiring actual HR employees. Having fewer things to think about on that front is super helpful. What do you like best about Justworks?

They have centralized certain HR features that makes it easy to onboard new employees and manage payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Justworks?

Despite paying a premium, I have not saved time using their services because their service support is either very slow (i.e. 7-10 weeks to resolve issues) or they completely fail to provide the correct documentation (i.e full W2 forms). We switched over to them mid-year and gave them all W2 info from the previous provider during onboarding, but they did not send full year W2 forms to employees. I asked them to correct this and they flat out refused. This is one example of an issue that will take me hours to resolve and likely cost me thousands of dollars.
