I dislike that we cannot leave certain dimensions open after periods close. I also do not like that once something is created at the entity level, admin cannot make it available at the top level. That seems like something easy for admin to handle. But multiple times it has caused difficulties when something (vendor, user, program, etc) is created at the entity rather than the top level. The lack of a “save and resume” option during broadcast setup is really frustrating. If I get pulled away by another task, I often have to abandon what I’ve done and then start the whole process over from scratch the next day. The pricing model is predatory. Once they have your data in their system they can simply increase the price at any time. They are doing that now by 40% for Quickbooks online plus. They know that customers won't like it but they also know that the cost of migrating all the data is higher than the price increase. I’d like to include select visitors - repeat attendees - of upcoming events the same way I can notify members, but without adding them to the directory. I use Gracely for instant communication without complicated phone trees and electronic payments. It lets me text the whole membership easily and quickly, making it simple to remind people of events or inform them of last-minute changes. We are in a hardcore growth phase now, and we often have workdays or quick meetings with very little notice. Gracely ensures that those are still well-attended without a ton of prep for me. The only aspect I wish we could improve is leveraging the AI-driven forecasting in purchasing. Right now, due to market volatility and limited historical data, we can't fully rely on it yet. Some legacy staff struggled with the increased controls and structure, and the change management was tough for a few people. The only thing I'm not fond of is having to set up a two-group registration for anything child or student related. We have issues getting the second form conpleted. When you'rel ooking at a registration of over 100, that gets daunting to track down parents and have them complete the second form (because they think they're done). The main thing I feel can be improved is the level of customisation available for invoices. Refrens is helping me solve the problem of managing quotations, invoices and payment tracking in one place. Earlier, keeping track of invoices and pending payments could become difficult, especially when dealing with multiple clients. We are still working out some kinks with our children's church ministry. Signing the children in and out without creating a new profile for them each time can be a bit of an issue. I find that DualEntry lacks native GoBD-compliant immutable audit trails, which creates real risk for our client assignments. Edited journal entries do not leave a complete, timestamp-tracked change history. It also cannot export data in standard DATEV formats required for German tax submissions. Our staff has to manually log every adjustment and replicate datasets inside our compliant ERP system, which adds repetitive overhead and opens up human error risks. Without pre-built GoBD templates or DATEV-aligned settings, we spent extra time building internal checklists and designing manual export workflows, which was burdensome. Martus has very beneficial reports which allow us to drill down to see the details of transactions. It's very helpful to read the memos of transactions while reviewing budget-to-actual reports.
