"Convenient Bug Reporting, But Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Userback?

The convenience of raising bugs without having to navigate to another page; I use it quite frequently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userback?

- When i use the screenshot function, it does not capture the existing UI immediately. So while I am adding annotations, the UI could change (e.g. the notification on my platform disappears after 10 seconds and will not be captured anymore)

- The screenshot function is not user friendly, I dont really understand if I already took it or not, there does not seem to be a confirm button after I add annotations

- The Jira integration is not so good, it does not allow for us to capture additional fields. For example, we usually require: steps to reproduce, actual result and expected result. I also cannot see the screenshot / video recording on Jira, I have to click in to userback separately

- I also keep getting unnecessary email updates on bugs I raised Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Userback for its seamless integration with Jira, which is incredibly helpful for my development team as it allows us to manage and track bugs directly within Jira. I love that Userback is really easy to use in my browser, which simplifies my workflow significantly. I don't have to upload any images separately because I can just take a screenshot and comment right on the feedback item. This functionality drastically smooths the process of providing website reviews and feedback. Additionally, Userback excels in resolving efficiency problems and styling issues for my developers. It makes it super easy to task out updates all at once to my team of developers. I think the user experience of Userback could be improved. It's a bit complicated and difficult to create new projects, which could be made easier and more straightforward. The process of adding users and defining roles is also not as clear as it could be. There's some ambiguity about who should be assigned to which roles, especially for admins who seem to automatically become part of every project. Overall, simplifying these aspects would greatly enhance the user experience. Additionally, while the initial setup is pretty easy, navigating the system post-setup can be challenging for those without extensive technology experience. What do you like best about Userback?

I find it really easy to implement Userback, and I particularly appreciate the point and click feature for sharing feedback. It makes it very clear what needs to be implemented in terms of changes to the client's website. The ability to collect all of that information very simply and have a visual view of everything that needs to be changed is extremely beneficial. It streamlines what would have been a lot of back and forth, turning it into a simplified process. Userback allows our team to efficiently identify changes, reducing unnecessary communications and expediting the client feedback loop. What do you dislike about Userback?

I find there is a bit of a learning curve for our clients using Userback. Some clients think they have submitted feedback, but they haven't clicked the submit button, which can be confusing. I would prefer if there were fewer clicks required to collect, review, and submit feedback, making the process more streamlined. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have the ability to scroll through a full website page and give feedback throughout, instead of needing to submit and then submit again after scrolling. I have not enjoyed using Userback for actual error tracking. The tool seems to aggregate too much feedback rather than focusing on actual errors, which complicates error identification and management. Additionally, the duplication management is not as efficient as I would like, leading me to prefer managing feedback through Slack. I like how seamless userback can be integrated into our web app, every user has a quick and simple way to provide feedback. And that we can reply to them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userback?

User have no overview of the provided feedback in the widget. All communication has to be continued via email, very often user don't understand that they can reply via email too and send attachments.

Overview of all requests directly inthe widged and possibility to do comments there, would be much easier.

User have to type their name and email each time they create feedback in the widget. A deeper integration with our app could prefill this user data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
