**What do you like best about Userback?**

I love the fact that Userback can be super lightweight or it can offer a wide variety of functionalities and customizations for a reasonable price.  I've used other feedback tools and I can see myself only using this from here on out no matter the size of the organization I'm assisting.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

Like any software, there are occasional bugs or a new feature that has room for improvements.  UNLIKE other software, the team is super responsive and has, over the course of my usage, even implemented a few direct feature requests that I have submitted.  I got updates from the team along the way.

The only other thing to note is that there isn't a high level of customization with the integrations.  This makes it both really easy to set up but somewhat limited in customizability.

**What problems is Userback solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have both internal users and external users.  The system makes it easy to not only acquire the feedback we need, but also immediately translate it into an actionable work item via the Jira integration.  Previous methods required lot's of manual effort or duplication to get the same results.

The automatic recording of the user session even before they have sent a report, an effective support that unlocked our account. And many connected services!

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

The lack of advanced customization with connected services like ClickUp: it's impossible to disable the AI summary title (or have it in French) and impossible to customize data mapping in the ClickUp integration (custom fields, task type).

Bug diagnosis: it is greatly accelerated with automatic session recording with video with annotated timeline + console messages

It's the best value for money because it has most of the essential features at a fair price. The support is great and responds to questions or requests.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

What it has in some others in the same segment is the AI ​​Chatbot part to provide customer service, but it is not so necessary.

The main issue resolved was easier bug reporting. I also use it for CSAT surveys; it's quick and easy.

Ease of capturing feedback and ability to capture different modes like screenshot, full page, video, etc. Ability to tag and organize feedback.

There's one more project management board to have to manage in addition to Jira. Even though we can send bugs directly to Jira, the team has to periodically go to the Userback project management board to make sure all bugs have been moved along/aren't stale anymore.

Ability to capture and organize feedback and consistent way.

I hear you on managing multiple boards. One approach some teams use is keeping Userback as the primary feedback hub and only syncing items to Jira when they're ready for dev work. The integration into the webapp works well. I especially like the screenshots that are automatically sent with each bug.

There is only one resolved state. I want to resolve the issue with multiple states, like "void", "fixed", "won't fix", etc. You can make other intermediate states, but I want multiple states that represent the terminal classification and are eventually removed from view.

Getting feedback from users with as low friction from users as possible.

**What do you like best about Userback?**

I like the simplicity and functionality. The integration to our platform allows our users to very easily contact us, provide screenshot of the location on our website (annotate issues/leaves notes), and get speedy responses from the stafff. I also truly appreciate the team and developers--it has been a wonderful 4 years of experience as partners and I appreciate the level of support they give my group. Honestly, it's one of the reasons I haven't moved to a different help desk system--it just works for what we need.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

I really don't have much to dislike about it. It provides the level of API access I need to help transfer data from our website to the system. It integrates well and provides what we need.

I think if one thing I had to mention--I wish there was an option to build question fields in certain types of "tickets". It would help us to be able to ask a few up front questions when collecting data.

The tool holds up extremely well for recording users feedback on my client websites. 

I've never seen any issues with the tool itself as it always just completes it's mission without distraction. 

The integrations (I particularly use Basecamp + GitHub) are solid and work well.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

Sometimes it's too easy for people to provide feedback....so I get more feedback than I'd like sometimes, but I suppose this is a good thing! ;-)

**What problems is Userback solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I build, design & manage websites for a living as a single person business. 

My Problem: Consistently getting the things I need to resolve issues and complete updates on websites was always a struggle before UserBack. It's hard for people to create screenshots often & provide the necessary information.

My solution: started using UserBack. I've been able to significantly reduce the time & cost to maintain websites and my clients have been happier since they know it's easy to provide feedback + just get things done.

Simplicity and flexibility of QA boards and tasks management is awesome, so is the widget and Chrome extension - we got both our team and our customers to use Userback for QA reports submission and feedback submission. Love the new flow, it really helped our processes reach the next level.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

Options for tickets and boards privacy and sharing are quite limited - for example, options for internal users (e.g. agency staff) vs options for external users (e.g. collaborators / clients / feedback audience). Hopefully Userback team will add a bit more flexibility at this front.

Userback allows our delivery teams to handle QA reports on clean separate project based boards, unify standards of bug report submission workflows, and also allow a single entry point of QA feedback submission for all of our clients.

The platform simplifies collecting and managing user feedback in a way that's intuitive and efficient. Its visual feedback feature is particularly powerful, allowing users to annotate screenshots and videos directly, which makes understanding their issues much easier.

The integration options are another standout. Slack to allow exchange between the team member regarding the issue, and Asana to track and share ticket status for the users.

The Userback support is also extremly responsive and was able to adapt to our needs.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

To use Userback at a full potential would need to have already reach a crtical size in terms of users, which can be a bit steep for some smaller company and startups.

Allows to documents very well userfeedback either for potential bugs or suggestion of new feature. It makes the overall process very efficient.

- Simplified Feedback Collection: Ever since I started using Userback, collecting feedback from my clients regarding website edits has become a breeze. It's so much easier and efficient now.

- 2 Way Trello Integration: This feature has been a game-changer for me. The seamless 2-way integration with Trello streamlines my workflow, making it so much more organized and effective.

- Client-Friendly Interface: I've received several comments from my clients on how intuitive and easy-to-use they find the Userback interface. It's always a win when both the service provider and the clients are happy with a tool!

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

Pricing Concerns: There's no denying the immense value that Userback brings to the table. However, I did have a moment's pause considering the pricing. Although it offers a competitive rate compared to some of its rivals, I can see how it might be a little daunting for smaller businesses or freelancers to pay for the plan that has integration. We wish there was an intermediate plan that considered small shops that still need the integration with Zapier or Trello.

The number on issue we had has a web agency is to collect edits after the initial work has been done. Screenshots pasted into google docs...NO MORE! Since we implemented Userback we never had that issue again.

Allows internal configurations, in addition to enabling full interaction with users. It greatly assists in product, community, support, and QA processes. I recommend it for user satisfaction management.

The Userback experience has been very reliable for our clients. It has been a game-changer for our QA process and Project Management, from the customizable, easy-to-use onsite widgets to the access to live collaboration with our clients. It has streamlined the need to juggle feedback from multiple sources to just one.

1. I was surprised to find out that client accounts count toward your total users. This limits the number of clients we can give access to projects and provide feedback. 

2. Slack is limited to one channel integration per project

3. Linear integration is missing full status sync and priority sync.

Userback provides our clients with one place to provide feedback or new requests. This streamlined process helps us better serve our clients faster and more efficiently with more detailed bugs or feedback requests which cuts off a lot of back and forth with clients for more information.

Userback's features provide a ton of value to our business. It makes collecting feedback super simple. In addition, because we are a SaaS we can implement multiple instances for each of our customers.

The typical user who provides feedback or submits bugs often leaves out extremely important details that delays the process to resolving the issue. Without these key details support teams are forced to go back and ask questions and likely the person will not reply or does not know how to answer them. 

Userback collects screenshots, console errors, and urls which allow our team to pinpoint exactly where the issues are.

It is really easy to set the Userback widget on your product, customize how it looks, and link it with whatever other tool you like. It is also extremely straightforwad from the end user's perspective - even non tech-savvy users take advantage of it to report issues or make suggestions for our platform.

Userback has supported our product since its launch and has really helped us gather and prioritize user feedback. The context around submitted feedback, including screenshots and device information, is an invaluable tool for developers, and the ability to organise feedback is a great project management tool.

Userback lacks some of the more powerful project management abilities of similar software (e.g. Jira), and parts of the interface can be frustrating to use. For example, there appears to be no way to preview or quickly preview or action a ticket from the board view, and there is no easy way to navigate between tickets.

My company works on many websites, and we often turn to Userback as the quickest solution for aggregating feedback from both our internal testers and from clients. I really like the UI which is so simple and easy to use for our users to send a screenshot or even video feedback when errors occurred on our website. We help them better by replicating the issues that happen and finding a solution for them. We also use some features for our Internal designer use to collaboratively work on reviewing a design project by uploading a draft design to the platform and inviting our team to review them.

**What do you dislike about Userback?**

I don't have any complaints so far about the product simply because it fits in with my use case.  I'm an early user of Userback and seeing them growing so fast by hearing people's feedback, I'm happy to use them for a long time.

**What problems is Userback solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the problems that I solved are bug tracking. Many users sometimes have a hard time explaining errors that occurred on their ends because they don't have the technical background to do so. Userback helps us and our users to report the error with simple feedback like screenshots or Videos directly sent to our technical support team to be reviewed and find a solution for them. We also use the software to do design review of our product internally, we use the platform to upload some design draft and invite our team to review those inside the platform.

Easy to set up specific projects so all info stays united under that project. The easy addition of other team members who need be involved, communicate and manage process cycle makes it clear for everyone (including clients) on what needs address why someone did something in the past or will do again next week- as long they are following outlined procedures well! A great feature about this system is there feedback button - you'll only see it if your logged into account because anyone not signed onto an existing session; which helps protect privacy

*The introduction video explains the process for designers and clients as well. The use cases on this site offer more information about how it works, but we could also look at our main website to get a better understanding of what's happening.*

*It seems like there are still some details that need work - such as figuring out where feedback should go in relation with design choices or something else not quite clear enough when looking at all three tabs together (Input). Additionally, I don't know if "Design" needs anything before going into its own section because you can see concepts without applying them yet just by scrolling through pages instead

The design team is able to get feedback from clients faster and more efficiently. In-person meetings are replaced by video conferences, which can also be taken anywhere!

Easy to install and easy to use by clients and colleagues (designer/developer). Communication via comments on the Userback site works well. Meanwhile I have used Userback for several years and am still happy with it.

Only one language, English. Like that I can only use for a few of my clients who are ok with that.

If you work with clients on something design or web related, and you are ok to use this in English only, definitely give it a try.

Useful especially in complex projects. Issues can be communicated and discussed more easily with Userback than by any other means I know of. Very easy to learn by most clients. Some still prefer email. Just the language is still a big problem for us.

I've been a Userback customer for several years and it's by far the best tool out there for acquiring visual feedback on our clients websites. And as I'm always testing new tools to compare against those I've been using, I've tried them all, and Userback is by far, the best.

I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about Userback, it addresses all of my needs in generating visual feedback on our client's websites. As with any SaaS, there's always going to be room for improvements here and there, but the team at Userback is constantly making it a better product, and by the time I've become aware of areas for improvement, those improvements have already been made.
