## Productboard Reviews
  ### 1. Great for Tracking Client Feedback, but Clunky Visibility and Requires Ongoing PM Attention

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The Product manager can track which clients have submitted feedback and they can own updates to the clients when an item is released. It also gives Product more visibility into which clients are submitting feedback and how popular suggestions are without this needing to be collated by other customer-facing teams. You can track progress of suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

It is another tool to need to log into. It does not work unless the Product manager stays on top of requests. Visibility of issues can be clunky.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For support, that often collects and submits feedback, it takes the responsibility of tracking and updating clients on feedback items off their shoulders and keeps it with Product to manage. It allows the Support team to go to a board to follow-up on suggested features and to track specific items.

  ### 2. Customer and team feedback in one place to detect patterns and create functionalities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel S. | Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

I find it very useful to have customer comments, team ideas, and internal notes all in one place. This way, I can detect patterns more easily and connect that feedback directly with potential features.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

It's not something negative, but it's true that for small teams, it seems a bit excessive to me.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help me organize the insights and arrange the roadmap

  ### 3. Intuitive, Integrated, But Needs Tagging Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angus S. | Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

I find Productboard easy to use and appreciate its intuitive website. The integration with MS Teams is really handy because it allows me to write product suggestions in a chat or thread, and then I can right-click and send them as insights directly into Productboard.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The tags on Insights once raised are clunky and hard to use

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Productboard as a connected, one-stop point for raising product suggestions and tracking. Its intuitive website and MS Teams integration make it easy to add insights online or directly from team chats.

  ### 4. Truly Flexible Roadmaps and Custom Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Flexibility: It allows you to set up the roadmap and related workflows in a truly customized way

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The pricing model is based on the number of users, so scaling it to match actual usage is always a challenge.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roadmap management and coordination with marketing; it also allows us to clearly communicate feature timelines to Sales

  ### 5. Comprehensive Product Management, But Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig B. | Director of Information Services and Technology, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

It is a strong one-stop-shop for all things in product management: customer portal and feedback, integration with DevOps/Jira, and roadmap planning tools.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

There's a lot of complexity. It takes time to get up to speed and working fluently inside it.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard is a single place I can develop and update my product's roadmap. It has everything I need to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

  ### 6. Excellent for Organizing Insights and Information

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keegan F. | Senior Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Helpful for organizing large amounts of information and insights that would otherwise be lost.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Relies on users following consistent processes to get the best out of the platform. Merging and moving themes and features could be easier.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insights on specific ideas, grouping themes of wants and needs, prioritization

  ### 7. Productboard is Great for Team Collaboration and Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

What I like best about Productboard is that it has the ability to organize feedback and relate it from customers without stress. PB has this flexible roadmap feature taht allowed me to communicate the direction of my products easily.

I like how one can visually see and update all of the progress of your projects in one place without needing for other tools.

PB also has good frequency of use, easy integration, and implementation with Zapier/Jira is an easy way to submit insights via email. Their customer support respond very fast when you have issues as well.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

What I dislike about Productboard the User experience that can be a little awkward, because it's easy to lose a function in the process, and you cannot make a search unless you type-in the exact word you're looking for.

Getting started can be tricky especially for the new beginners, and the reason is because of the need to figure out how best to map your product(s) to the flexible data model that PB only allows for. Finally, it connects easily to the big ones in the market like Zapier/Jira/Asana/Trello, but struggles with other tools which many small businesses use because of the cost.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems Productboard is solving or solved is that it helps me to really focus on the most important features just by organizing user feedback in one place without any complication. Infact, I don’t have to sort through scattered emails anymore, because the roadmap makes it easy to share plans with my team, and the tool works well with others I already use (Zapier/Jira). Finally, It saves time and helps me make better product decisions without any guesswork and delay.

  ### 8. I found the perfect solution for aligning product teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis W. | Product management, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard helps us streamline our product prioritization process, and I like that. It’s really easy to use, and my team can implement it without extensive training. By integrating with other tools like Slack and Jira, it becomes even more integrated to our workflow. They’ve also been incredibly responsive to any questions we had in the support team. It is something that we use often to make sure everyone is on the same page in terms of what our goals are.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

I don’t like Productboard’s dashboard because it’s too crowded with information. It’s also hard to customize the views and takes time to get them right. I wish we had better reporting tools to look at our data.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering feedback in one place and helping us choose which features to work on first, Productboard solves a lot of problems for us. It allows my team to focus on the important stuff and not waste as much time. We all understand the product goals so working together has become easier. This allows us to get things to our customers faster.

  ### 9. Centralized feedback streamlined our product management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariusz O. | Customer success senior manager, Online Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

What I like most about Productboard is that it aggregates all the customer feedback in one location. This helps us more easily to determine which features to prioritize, which translates directly to our product vision. They have a very active customer support team because of which I and most of the users are satisfied with their services. Ever since, we have been using Productboard more often because it helps maintain the work on various projects and ensures their compliance with the goals of users.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The only problem with Productboard is the fact that the software slows down when dealing with massive data sets. This can be quite irritating, especially when one has a tight schedule in undertaking their work. Further, the number is often large and still, the feeling can be that some of these tools can be polished a little better. These weaknesses have affected some of our activities especially when we are in the process of seeking information.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard has solved the issue of having information dispersed in different states by providing a convenient way to gather and rank clients’ feedback. It is greatly helpful for us since it defined the specific direction that we need to take for our product development. As we pointed out earlier, reasonable amount of features is enough to make sound features. Our productivity has gone up because we are not slowed down due to unorganized feedback system.

  ### 10. Centralized feedback management visibly improves product alignment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paolo T. | Senior customer success manager, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Probably the strongest feature of Productboard is in its ability to transform customer feedback into a powerful tool for product management. It has made our planning process better through the use of tools to analyze feedback and prioritization of features on the platform. Furthermore, the use of the roadmap visualizations helps to keep the focus on product goals and roadmap in the center, and has made development more focused and coherent across all teams.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

A possible drawback of Productboard is its relative lack of actionable analytics to perform deeper analytics. Though the system helps to gather the feedbacks, the mechanism of analysing the feedbacks is not as efficient as requires for further deep analysis, so there is the extra manual work required. Moreover, with an increasing number of feedbacks, their schematic and proper processing takes somewhat time, which affects the general tempo of work.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard assists in that it collects all the customer feedback and offers a set of tools to prioritize the features accordingly. That has helped to enhance our product planning and made sure we have the right features in our products. The structured feedback management system thus helped to fasten decision-making, thus making it possible to ensure that products in the market reflect what the users need them to be or what is expected in the market.

  ### 11. Centralizing feedback with this tool significantly improves product development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felippe O. | User Experience Designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard is quite useful because it helps people to prioritize and sort the features of their product based on users’ feedback. It always does a good job of compiling feedbacks from different sources which are very useful for decision making. The prioritization matrix is very helpful when deciding what aspects should take precedence. Also its integration with Jira improves our runway by linking feedback to the development of tasks.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

A disadvantage of the Productboard is that the management of many comments causes a certain degree of overload in the system’s interface. This can slow down the process of organizing and prioritizing of requests. The reporting tools also have limited options in terms of customization and adaptation, therefore more often we have to adjust the data we receive to meet our needs, which slows down our work and increases the number of steps.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Productboard, we are able to track and prioritize feature requests by having all the user feedback in one place. I have also observed that this centralization has enhanced our decision making process in a major way. The integration with Jira helps to focus on what users really need and have gaps, thus saving time on unnecessary features. This approach has proved effective in the enhancement of our product development process and overall user satisfaction.

  ### 12. Super effective tool for managing product features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan C. | Senior Product Manager, Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The prominent strength of the Productboard is its extensive ability to address the product roadmaps and its priority. I like that it centralizes feedback received from multiple channels and this aspect has been of huge benefits to us. The integration with the Jira etc, as well as with the applications such as Slack guarantees that the tasks is going to be delivered and everyone will be informed. It has helped in improving our feasibility with regard to aligning product development with customer feedback as well as strategic direction.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

An issue with Productboard is that it has a complex navigation that may feel confusing to some users at first. Some of the features might be overwhelming due to the overwhelming presence of the options for different settings and parameters. Furthermore, although the software tools provided are robust, some of them are complex and require extra training or help to master, which affects our productivity when implementing the chosen software and training employees.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As for the problem of managing product development, Productboard offers a tool to gather and prioritize feedback in one place. This has helped to make the evaluation of the product development more effective as it is based on the actual needs of the consumers and the prevailing market trends. The outcome here is a more refined development cycle that targets pertinent customer requirements and thereby delivers more positive results.

  ### 13. By centralizing users feedback we significantly improved decision making in our company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garry B. | Senior UX Designer, Utilities, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

In Productboard, I prefer feature prioritization where it is possible to prioritize in detail, knowing which product changes will have the greatest impact. The visual roadmap can be easily understood in relation to our development plans and made to show positive progress from where we want to be in the future. The advantages of consolidated user feedbacks mean that we are now in a position to make better decisions based on actual evidence.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

There are disadvantages in using Productboard, and one of these is that the prioritization based on the features can be a bit rigid and cannot easily change from one direction to another depending on the changes in market trends or needs. Also, the ‘visual roadmap’ can have too many items displayed and this clouds the important items which require attention at the present time. Occasionally, these factors have caused challenges in flexing our strategies and addressing the emphasis of our development.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard helps to solve the problem of managing and prioritizing the feature requests and collecting all the feedback as well as providing the possible development plan. This has been helpful to us in that it has allowed for precise attention to good features and tangible measures of progress. They ensure that the development processes are efficient and provide clients with the usability they require and help achieve the goals of the organization.

  ### 14. Great and reliable solution for organizing feedback and roadmapping

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas E. | Senior Product Manager, Motion Pictures and Film, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

From Productboard, I believe the best feature is in that it compiles feedbacks from different sources and prioritize them. It assists us to gather all input in one place and achieve a coherent understanding to build a product roadmap, which is very important for decision making. I also like its integration with Jira and Trello which helps me to always turn the feedback into actionable items really seamlessly and keeps my project management tidy.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

While using Productboard, it may become quite a bit on the clunky side because there are quite many features are included which could confuse users while they are getting introduced to the platform. Further, the use of tools may also pose problems where tool integration issues may at times interfere with our functioning. These challenges have sometimes impacted the performance of our team with regard to incorporating the software into normal work processes.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Productboard, the issue of dealing with and prioritizing customer feedback is resolved by its unification in a single platform. This centralization helps to understand what actually matters as it simplifies the vision of customers’ needs and suggested features. It has benefically impacted us in terms of enhancing the ability to easily match up our development schedule with the user needs, ensuring better follow up on what needs improvements, and is definitely helping to increase productivity in our team.

  ### 15. Super effective customer feedback management solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo G. | Customer Success Manager, Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The feature of Productboard that I love is how it consolidates customer insights and how it assists us in making the right decisions regarding prioritizing features. It is easy to navigate, and this makes the arrangement of our tasks rather easy to manage. We have connected it with Jira, so the development team keeps up to date with our product roadmap. The features for pointing out the improvements and analyzing the outcomes have made the work much easier and adjusted product planning significantly.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

However, it can take some time to get used to Productboard since its interface is not intuitive at all. At first, which was rather annoying for our team, it took some time to use all its features comfortably. Also, it can be a bit expensive to implement especially for a small organization or a limited team of people. These problems have affected our efficiency during the onboarding stage and made the budget factor more important in decision making.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard can be seen as addressing the last mentioned issue by offering a clear structure on how features should be grouped and updated based on customers’ feedback. This has been of Immense value to our team because it has helped us to discern what is essential in our line of work. This has enhanced rapport within the working team and it’s a way of making sure that everyone is on the same page. In sum, Productboard has improved overall productivity and provided finer quality products.

  ### 16. Powerful product roadmapping and customer insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Owen R. | Senior Content Writer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Out of all the Productboard features, the one that I enjoy most is the Productboard product roadmap. It helps map out our product strategy and feature roadmap to make better decisions regarding users’ feedbacks and company goals. When used with Jira, it was quite easy to incorporate and helped to keep the development team on track with the vision for the product. Presumably, the possibility to use features such as customer information and prioritization has made our work more focused, as there is nothing superfluous among the available tools.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Probably the biggest drawback of Productboard is that it has a high level of complexity, which may lead to difficulties when onboarded by a company. We spent quite a long time exploring all the possibilities of the program and using some of them decreased our productivity at first. Furthermore, the pricing may be slightly on the higher end for the smaller teams or startups. These have affected our efficiency especially on the onboarding process and yes it has been an issue in the funding conversations.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Productboard as a solution to sort out unmanageable product planning and prioritization issues for us. When it comes to product development, it has helped a lot because we have been able to gather all the customer feedback, and then correlate it with overall business goals and objectives. Drawing concrete plans and high priorities in concepts have greatly enhanced our productivity; we implement those functions users are apt to find most valuable. This has positively impacted the team since it minimizes confusion and improves productivity.

  ### 17. Smooth feedback management and custom reports solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan R. | Customer experience manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

What I like the most about Productboard is that it easily connects with other tools such as Slack or Jira. This integration helps unify feedback and features in one location to make it easier to track and organize them. In terms of usability, the interface is rather clear, and the views and reports which can be customized have a great impact on the work of our team as they help in making strategic decisions and organizing the work flow.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

One of the primary drawbacks of this tool is that Productboard isn’t very user friendly as it has many features and options. The major early problem we faced was that it took time before new members in the team got acquainted with their roles and responsibilities, thereby slowing our efficiency. However, it is a bit slow at times and at some point integrates with some external tools which may cause data disparity sometimes. These factors have insisted little more time for rectification works and sometimes hamper the flow of work.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through the identification of where all the feedbacks are coming from, Productboard solves the problem of dispersed feedbacks. This has gone along way in enhancing the selection of features in accordance to overall information. Consequently, our product development is tighter and closer to the users’ needs, reducing decision making time and increasing its quality. They are use full and help to smoothen the processes and have helped enhancing the inter team coordination.

  ### 18. Great solution for prioritizing product roiadmaps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janine O. | Product Marketing Manager, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The feature that I find most impressive about Productboard is how it helps in prioritizing and managing the product roadmaps. It is useful for pooling feedback from different sources and viewing them systematically. I also like the integration with our project management and CRM tools as it makes them all unified. Such integration has made it easy for us to manage our product development cycle and ensure that the direction we are taking product meets actual customer needs.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The main issue that can be mentioned regarding Productboard is that the application becomes cluttered if one deals with extensive feedback and numerous tasks, and it becomes challenging to locate specific features easily. Also, integration abilities of the software, as a rule, are more or less beneficial, nonetheless, require changes and fine tuning. This has sometimes led to interuption and in some way delayed our process when linking up with other systems.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem that Productboard addresses in our case is managing the collected product feedback and its prioritization in a single hub. Validity of this feedback along with synchronizing it with our project management tools has enhanced our development phase. It has helped us to make more precise decisions based on the analysis of customers’ data and better adapt to their requirements with our products. Therefore, the organization has experienced improved efficiency in the process and enhanced the quality of the released product.

  ### 19. The go to solution for Product Roadmap

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon T. | Chief of Product Success, UK & Europe, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The way insights and ideas can not just be be captured, that they can then be used to influence the roadmap through prioritisation activities, and all in a clean UI, just made it stand out from the crowd.

Then the link to/from a development tool like JIRA or ADO, provided a gateway to a true Product roadmap, by detaching from the feel of creating a delivery plan.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

To be honest, nothing comes to mind. The solution is so flexible, that whilst improvement re always needed to any platform, and Productboard are regularly making them, right now, this solution is very much on point.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard allows you to build a true Product Roadmap, so you're less likely to fall into the trap of crafting a delivery plan. With a great UI, every user can quickly see the roadmap and vision, and align to the items in that journey. Customer insight is so integral, that this raises the bar for the perception of the impact insights can have.

  ### 20. Our product launches are more in tune with market needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lara M. | Client services innovation lead, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Im really into how Productboard fosters collaboration. Its like a melting pot of ideas and feedback. When we all join forces and see how seamlessly it connects to our project tools its like adding fuel to the fire of our products performance. Also having all customer comments and market info in one place helps us get inside the minds of our users ultimately paving the way for our product innovation.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Productboard could definitely use more custom notifications. Updates can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. Being able to control the updates you receive whould help a lot. If you also could filter notifications it would prevent information overload and help you focus on the most important tasks.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard is my goto for staying on top of the everchanging customer needs at work. Its like having a sidekick ensuring our products lead the pack not just imitate others. Leveraging Productboard has given our products a fresher feel enabling quicker rollouts. This matters since our business is always evolving swiftly.

  ### 21. Productboard helps us make sure our products are always what people are looking for

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C. | Product innovation specialist, Chemicals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard has a really neat feedback feature that helps our team. We can see what customers and others think directly from the platform. Every opinion counts as we make products. Working with the team and Productboard's feedback tools, we're on a path to connect what people want with new ideas. The goal is to build things users truly enjoy.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Something that could be better about Productboard is its analytics. It gives good info on what customers think and how they use products, but more detailed data would help understand users even better. More in depth analytics would let fine tune products to match exactly what customers are looking for.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard really helps me ensure products match what customers want. We listen to feedback and ensure new products fit needs. This made products more popular and customers happier. Productboard also makes changing things fast easier when needed, keeping us updated on customer wants.

  ### 22. All you need to successfully evolve your software products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The tool is so helpful for efficiently finding information on features and managing them. I love the portal features for collecting customer feedback on roadmap items. Also, its integration capabilities (Salesforce, Gainsight) are crucial for us.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The new AI features do not yet provide real added value. Many suggested links of insight notes to features are incorrect. Maybe it just needs more time to learn.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On the one hand, it provides the necessary overview of what all product teams are and will be working on and when this is estimated to be finished. On the other hand, it connects individual customer feedback with the features. This combination is key to prioritize according to customer needs.

  ### 23. Productboard has helped us visualize and prioritize our product roadmaps better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb R. | Senior Network Security Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard made planning and working on our product features much easier. It connected well with the tools we already use, making us more efficient. Their support team is quick to help whenever we have problems. It also has lots of good features for planning our product roadmap and handling customer feedback.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Something I've noticed about Productboard is that product roadmaps don't always change right away, particularly when there is a lot of information to work through. This can affect how well we intend. Also, even though it's great for accumulating consumer viewpoints, the analytics instruments could be more direct sometimes, now and then making it tough to get clear, workable notions on how to boost.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've found Productboard really useful for improving how we develop products and plan everything out. It has awesome tools for picking which features to focus on first and displaying our roadmap, which speeds up our workflow. It integrates nicely with our existing systems and helps us stay on top of shifts in the market. Since adopting Productboard, we place more emphasis on our users and strategize our product development in a more thoughtful manner.

I am really thankful for the Productboard to organize my all Notes at one place and help me to groom my Product backlog and Prioritization. It also provides integration capabilities, so my field facing team or customer they can raise their feedbacks or any issues. I have enabled the automations based on keywords, so those all topics belongs to me automatically come into my Insight Board (Assigned to me).

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Nothing, you can easily start your journey with Productboard.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a product manager, I always look for more data and information from multiple sources to plan new features for my product. New feature request can come from multiple sources i.e. customer, field facing teams, presales, enginerring team etc. It is not easy to get these all infromation on mails or over call or on messaging tool. Productboard provides an interfaces to all my sources to raise their request as notes and that automatically assigned to me. I can easily keep the track of these request. I can validate those requests and add into my product planning. Productboards helps me to give a clear visiblity to define my product roadmap and decision making.

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Helps me log product requests from my customers in a centralized repository. Helps me also track product developments and roadmaps from the team. Easy to use and also very intuitive in terms of understanding what is under development and what is live in customer accounts.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Have used mostly the desktop app only. I wish there was easier tracking and intuitive interface for mobile too.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me log all product requests in one place and ensures I can understand what is the progress on each - what is a priority and what is not.

  ### 27. Productboard makes it super easy to make the perfect products.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda B. | Member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

A remarkable aspect of Productboard lies in its ability to dynamically prioritize features. This, along with its impressive roadmap visualization and seamless integration with third-party tools, positions it as a standout in the realm of product management.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

I've noticed that Productboard's notification system can be a bit too persistent, leading to unnecessary distractions. Also, while its integrations are robust, they occasionally face syncing issues which can disrupt workflows.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Productboard has greatly improved our product management process by organizing and transforming scattered ideas into actionable plans. The clear roadmap has significantly increased alignment within our teams, and the seamless integrations have eliminated the need for manual data transfers, saving us valuable time.

  ### 28. We have successfully identified our guiding principle for product development.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun R. | Digital Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard is a valuable tool for prioritizing features. It provides well-designed user feedback collection, offering valuable insights from our users. The roadmap feature is straightforward and has greatly improved our planning and communication. It's something we didn't realize we needed until we started using it.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Setting up Productboard may require some time and patience to grasp the initial complexity. However, once it's fully established, it offers a multitude of benefits.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard tackles the challenge of determining feature prioritization by ensuring our product roadmap aligns with market demands. Our tool for collecting user feedback is invaluable in gaining insightful customer insights, and visualizing our project plans on the roadmap has greatly enhanced clarity and communication.

  ### 29. Maximize development efficiency with ProductBoard customization, intuition, and effectiveness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clayton B. | Sales Market Leader - Higher Education , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

ProductBoard is incredibly flexible and allows for a high level of customization. The user interface is exceptionally clean and, in my opinion, ProductBoard is quite intuitive to use. It strikes a good balance by providing ample customization options without overwhelming complexity. One of its main benefits for me is the ability to prioritize my development tasks effectively. By gathering feedback from the customer support team, I can classify it into relevant job stories and easily reach out to the appropriate user to investigate specific topics.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The most significant aspect for me is the performance. Occasionally, certain sections of the user interface can feel a bit slow when there are numerous items displayed, causing delays in clicks. It would also be more convenient if the Drivers feature were accessible at the lowest pricing level. There are some notable features that are currently missing, which would greatly enhance the product. These include CRM integrations, an API, and a proper Zapier integration.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Productboard, we can finally steer our product to the features that have the greatest impact. We used to feel little lost, re-creating roadmaps every month, spending a lot of manual labor in spreadsheets, and guessing what matters. We can now cooperate on a single roadmap with proof of what is truly important.

  ### 30. Best product management tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Winston M. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2023

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Nothing as such. All features are useful to me untill now.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organisation uses productboard to track upcoming projects to be taken up with respect to their priority. The UI makes it easy to understand which projects are currently in queue for the next release.

  ### 31. A Logical and Efficient Tool for Facilitate Product Decision Making

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy V. | Senior Consultant for Student Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard helped me to make my work simplified. It is customizable and has many built-in features like driver and objectives that help me allocate and plan effectively. Me and my team were engaged to build a logical, teaching process by concentrating, processing, sharing, and incorporating feedback to make valuable product decision-making based on evidence. The insights section is the most effective tool I found to look for feedback from all our sources.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

In my opinion, it’s too high a price per user. And the other problem I had is an issue with the sync of epics to Jira, but the support helped me with this issue very quick.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At our business, Productboard improved my worker's effectiveness. They can do more work in one shift. It has many features that help with work so workers can do their job much easier and faster.

  ### 32. Productboard assists with managing customer feedback

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

I like the Portals feature that allows our customers to view upcoming projects and provide feedback before they're in the roadmap. It's nice to have a central place for all feedback as well.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

It seems like another task that isn't super helpful honestly

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A location for all feedback, we also have our roadmaps here currently

  ### 33. I've finally navigated the maze of customer feedback thanks to Productboard

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas S. | Customer Feedback Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

I really like that Productboard helps decide what features are most important and makes creating products smoother. It’s great for listening to what customers want and planning products to meet their needs. You can also see how the product changes over time.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

It’s hard to change the settings in Productboard how you want them, which can make it tough to get your work set up right. It’s also not very easy to sort through a lot of information because the filters aren’t great.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard helps manage how products are made. It puts all the customer feedback in one place and helps pick the best features. This makes sure the product is what people actually want. It’s also really good for keeping everyone involved in the loop.

  ### 34. The tool You need for efficient product development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike W. | VP, Marketing Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The possibilities for plan modification are what distinguishes Productboard. For various partners, I can make various roadmap views, which is very useful. I also value having real-time access to product development data. Last but not least, Productboard's input collection and prioritization tools help me comprehend what matters most to consumers.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Although I value Productboard's many features, there are moments when it seems like there are simply too many choices. The pricing system is also a little perplexing to me because different plans give various benefits. Last but not least, configuring and customizing software interfaces can be challenging.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The efficiency of our product creation process has greatly benefited from it. We can better comprehend our users' requirements and desires if we have the ability to gather and organize client input. As a result, the development schedule has been made more effective and we have been able to make more informed choices about which features to prioritize. It has also become simpler to monitor progress and remain on top of duties thanks to the customizable dashboards and statistics.

  ### 35. Powerful, flexible and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard allows me to keep track of all my features but more critically, the customer feedback and insights that assign value to those features. The prioritization tools that take advantage of that source data as well as our ability to map effort vs. value helps me feel more confident about the decisions we make. The support team has always been responsive, plus they have an excellent product management community. The Portal feature is really cool both from a standpoint of using it to get feedback on our stuff but also using their portal to see where they are headed.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Minor downsides like the filtering capability of the Salesforce integration (couldn't do it by a date field at the time of this writing) and maybe the Chrome extension where I can only add notes by person not by company with it. Overall though these are very minor.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We might end up spending a ton of resources on the wrong things. This tool can help make sure you are investing in the right area of your product. Being able to come back and quantify the impact can really help with that.

  ### 36. Love this for any product team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard is the one source of truth that allows the team to know exactly what each product team is working on and building towards.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

The information is not always organized in the most effective way and it takes a lot of time for someone on our team to organize. Additionally, the tools do not allow us to make big changes easily.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workflow management and being able to break down big problems

  ### 37. UX and UI is quite bad for a "Product" product

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The roadmap item
The colours
that's it...

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Overcomplex when
It's buggy, you loose some info..
The saving/sharing system is not done well

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-organisation et cross knowledge collaboration.

  ### 38. One of the most crappiest product management application

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Upendar G. | Associate Director Product Operations BI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Nothing at all. One of the most confusing user interface.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

I dont know why would anyone use product board. Here are my reasons not to use it:
* most confusing UI
* filters suck big time
* feature creations, insights and who can do what is so f....ing confusing.

Jira can do all the things and much more and in more user friendly way. I have zero clue why my company opted for it. Not a single PM liked this shitty pkroduct.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

solved nothing but created extra non sensical work for the whole team

  ### 39. Seamless and powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin S. | Product Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Its user-friendly interface, robust collaboration features, and seamless integration with popular tools make it a standout choice. It empowers teams to prioritize, plan, and execute product strategies effectively.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

One potential drawback of Productboard is its pricing, which may be considered expensive for small businesses or individual users. However, the comprehensive features and value it provides often outweigh this downside for larger organizations.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by streamlining prioritization, collaboration, and strategic planning, leading to enhanced productivity, alignment, and successful product execution.

  ### 40. Absolute must-have for product managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stepan D. | Director | Product Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

- Tools for creating flexible timelines
- Integration with Project Management tools (we are using ADO)
- Ability to create custom KPIs (drivers) for features
- integration of customer feedack

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

- This is rather a suggestion for a future feature, but I am missing a more deliberate representation of personas or target users
- Also, the timeline labels sometimes overlap when zoomed out.
- I would like to be able to place labels, notes and annotations on the timeline.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it extremely easy to create flexible timelines to be presented to the team. Also it allows more clarity and insight into individual features and why we are working on them.

  ### 41. Productboard is an Awesome Addition to any Agile Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S. | Fly Fishing Guide, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

We love the flexibility of the different view for engineering, product and design.

Love the bi-directional Jira integration.

Love the client feedback portal as well.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Presentations could be a bit better - meaning that I still have to use Google Slides, etc. to present to a larger audience.

I'm not sure how you get around this, but I'd love to see opportunities to streamline this in the future.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really helping us get higher-level with our roadmap and be able to communicate the "right level" of information to product and techology leaders, so we can inform the rest of the company.

  ### 42. Very complete product management tool (in the broadest sense of the word management)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob v. | Manager Product & New Business, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Easy story/ticket creation with good visualization options
Features hierarchy works great, together with the roadmap setup and configurable views.
In general, the (remote) collaboration enabled through Productboard is very well set up

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

In regards to not being a Product/Tech driven organization, the collaboration value is limited to our organization and, therefore relatively too expensive for the usage of a higher plan with OKRs tooling (which I love using).

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of visibility and collaboration on our roadmap and running issues. Productboard helps to create visibility and transparency on the future path our product is heading.

  ### 43. There is no better way to collect, store, and categorize insights.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nic L. | Chief Product Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

I love how insights can easily be collected and then stored with a potential problem or solution. This allows for quick storage that is effective. When insights are stored in Productboard and attached to a solution from my product managers, I can rest knowing it has been considered.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Some of the UI features take some getting used to, but once you are over the hump, it is a very effective UI.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting insights, categorizing potential solutions, ranking best solutions, taking action, communicating roadmap to the organization.

  ### 44. Great product for PM teams to understand customers and prioritize and plan roadmaps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | VP or Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The ability to map customer insights to features helps bring some real data from a bunch of unstructured feedback. This has helped to justify investment in features that we had considered but not had the justification for in the past. It has also helped make it clear when something may truly be a one-off, as we don't have any other feedback relevant to it. The linking and traceability of this helps us track, dive into the feedback when defining the features, and know who we should follow up with for both more information or to let them know we are building a feature based on what they asked for.

I also love the flexibility in creating and managing roadmaps for different audiences and the powerful features for feature prioritization including customer scoring.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Some of my prior dislikes have been resolved with recent feature enhancements. I would still like more flexibility with cutom fields (e.g. a custom date field), and some more flexibility on managing releases. Some new features are really nice, but lack of some tools have made adopting them and changing how we use the product more challenging than I would like. For example, the addition of release groups was nice, but moving from one release group to multiple doesn't have a simple path, e.g. now way that I can find to move releases I have between release groups. Similarly, custom swim lanes in a roadmap are a great addition, but they are tied to a specific roadmap view and hard to reuse and manage. I hope as these features mature there will be more management options.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Involving more of the organization in gathering feedback, Understanding customer feedback, prioritizing development roadmaps, communicating better internally on roadmaps and reasoning, including giving traceability back to those submitting insights.

  ### 45. One of the best

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

very user-friendly project management platform. The experience is very smooth and matches the pricing.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Everything is good so far. Covers all use cases.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roadmap visualization, feature requests from customers and other departments.

  ### 46. Great product and market leader for a reason

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro O. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

It's a very easy-to-use product while still providing very robust functionality

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

There have been some features that we've missed and some integrations that would help a lot with our specific workflow, like with Asana, for example.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting and managing product insights and prioritizing backlog

  ### 47. Product management by the book

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Opinionated feature set for managing a product allowing you to organize prioritize and communicate scope while keeping it well connected to the dev teams. Great when adoption is large and teams put in time to use it.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

Jira integration isnt working in scenarios where teams want to create tickets in Jira which become orphans in PB. This creates friction and PB simply is not addressing this. I have teams that churned to airtable or TRELLO for this reason.

Requires some citation at the top.

**Recommendations to others considering Productboard:**

Read the manual and understand deeply the philosophy of the product. Work with teams to make sure they buy in before you rollout. Appoint a curator of data quality for the product.

Triple check how the system integrates with your Jira/dev tool to make sure you are happy with the process.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product and project Portfolio management. Ability to track many projects in Jira. Prioritization and product release notes

  ### 48. ProductBoard Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

The design looks clean and modern, with simple colors and basic icons. Productboard offers a multitude of options for planning and organizing work and constructing roadmaps.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

I dislike that the spreadsheet import feature only allows for two fields to be imported. This makes it difficult to import our current roadmap data into Productboard without a considerable amount of manual data entry.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Productboard is helping us solve is roadmap planning, roadmap organization, and sharing our roadmap cross-functionally across our organization.

  ### 49. Roadmap Visibility for the whole Org

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jewel L. | S, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

Productboard is at it's most advantageous when it serves as the single source of truth for all things Product. We have found great success using it to collect and organize feedback both internally and from customers. Making Roadmaps that anyone can dig into, see where requests come from, see how prioritization happened, etc, has been incredibly helpful to building a culture of trust between the Product org and the rest of the company.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

It's fantastic to have integrations with things like DevOps, but it would be even more useful if statuses could be synced between the two. Also, when trying to tag feedback, sometimes it's hard to remember exactly what I called a previous feature request, so I end up making a lot of duplicates. A better feature request search that searches the descriptions of feature requests, not just the titles would be helpful there.

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productboard keeps our organization in sync around the roadmap. As an all remote team, self-service and being able to work asyncronously is important. Productboard is a valuable tool for keeping the product team engaged with the rest of the company without having to hold a ton of meetings or write long product updates.

  ### 50. Best tool for Product Managers to organize user feedback loop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna M. | Guest Professor at MBA and Pre-MBA programs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Productboard?**

ProductBoard has everything I need when it comes to streamlining user feedback from different sources to one place: it has integrations with Intercom, Slack, Close.io, etc; it has advanced access rights and management levels; it allows to quickly transform necessary features to roadmaps and share them with stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Productboard?**

I must admit that we don't really have any major problems with the tool. It might be sometimes glitchy, but nothing that can disrupt my work for a long time. I wish sub-features would have a better way to separate them in releases within roadmaps.

**Recommendations to others considering Productboard:**

Honestly, I'm surprised every time I hear that some organizations still haven't been using ProductBoard. It made my work as PM so much easier!

**What problems is Productboard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ProductBoard we used spreadsheet! The process was highly manual and it was tough to get meaningful insights from it. It took us some time to adapt the tool to our processes but now we can't live without it. We collect user feedback, organize it into features/problems, assign impact and other scores, prioritize it and build roadmaps based on it. It's also a perfect place to find users to speak with while working on the particular feature.
