The intuitive ease of use is wonderful. I can train anyone on how to use Payference in just a few minutes. Whenever there has been a question, I hear back from them the same day, often within the same hour. I have been involved with the Payference team for a while. They have been fantastic to work with and very accomodating to our requests for additional features. Payference is very easy to add into NetSuite and needs very simple configuration tasks. My primary goal was to get more insights into cash transactions and this has been met. In addition we use Payference for near term cash forecasts. It gives me the information I need to see outstanding receivables and upcoming payables. The team at Payference has done an incredible job of "hand holding" during the implementation. They simply wouldn't rest until the software was working exactly as promised. Further, they were extremely interested in feedback and incredibly, quickly implemented small changes to increase the usability of the software. The most helpful piece of Payference for myself as the AR Analyst is the automatic dunning, reminding customers promptly and professionally that payments are coming due and also reminding them of any past due invoices. As a company, keeping this process intuitive allows focus on other necessary AR tasks to increase cash. The connection to our ERP system was quick and easy. When onboarding with Payference, their team allowed us to ask all our questions, and as more inquiries came up, their team remained quick to respond and step into action. The downside of Payference is that the templates created as a sample for email reminders were lackluster and could use better rhetoric and style. The templates are something that can be created and manipulated. However, having solid templates to begin with, is always helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Payference integrates with our NetSuite ERP system, utilizing its data to aid in determining expected cash flow receipts and disbursements. It takes into consideration past customer and vendor payments in determining these inflows and outflows in addition to the terms specified on the individual transactions.
As far as I know, there is no other software solution on the market that integrates with NetSuite that provides quick and reasonably reliable cash flow forecasts. Payference works with its customers to make the needed adjustments to the inputs to help ensure reasonable projections. Once set up, cash flow projections can be run with very little effort, saving creation time and leveraging readily available system data to render more reliable projections.
We also use the A/R features available through Payference to automate our invoicing to customers and generate payment reminders and past due notices to aid in collections.
We have received great support from Payference in making their solution work for our specific needs. We combined the cashflow activities of four separate companies under common ownership that share a line of credit. Payference allows us to look at the various companies' cashflows separately or on a combined basis. The solution also allows us to view all customer and vendor transactions for each of the four business within Payference.
Setting up Payference was a pretty simple process, involving downloading a NetSuite bundle and about a half dozen one-hour meetings with Payference personnel to customize the solution to meet our needs. Emails of invoices to customers and past due notices do not flow back into NetSuite and do not appear in the customer or vendor communication section of the customer or vendor record in NetSuite. The largest impact Payference has had on our business is giving our customers the ability to download statements and invoices on demand which saves our Accounts Receivable team a tremendous amount of time. In addition, the automated payment reminders cut down on employee time spent reaching out to customers regarding payment status and manually trying to manage a growing customer base. The ability to scale this part of our business is extremely valuable as more time can be spent on higher value added projects. Payference has helped us streamline our collections process. We use NetSuite for our ERP. Sending statements and multiple invoices from NetSuite is not streamlined and very manual. Payference has made it so we can automate invoice reminders, compile statements and invoice copies in one email (without having to save a copy of each invoice first).
With regard to cash flow, their software has a predictive feature to estimate when customers are actually going to pay based on payment history. This helps assess true cash flow more accurately.
The connection to NetSuite is great. It took only a few minutes to connect and there is not need to upload any files for live data feeds.
