My comment comes from an op model transformation perspective, not as a Treasury SME. What I've observed is that Kyriba’s strength lies in its ability to bring all key Treasury functions together in one system—cash management, forecasting, payments, risk management, and more. It eliminates the need for additional tools or reliance on spreadsheets, which simplifies processes and reduces inefficiencies. Specifically, I've observed that, where implemented correctly, Kyriba enables teams to focus on strategy rather than on the mechanics and this drives true operational improvements. One of the biggest challenges with Kyriba is the steep learning curve involved in configuring its modules. Although the system is powerful and flexible, the setup process—especially when trying to enable standard functionality—can be highly complex and technical, often requiring substantial external support from consultants.
That reliance can introduce unexpected time and cost during implementation, particularly for organizations that don’t have in-house TMS expertise. Kyriba can deliver real value once it’s properly configured, but the upfront setup is burdensome and may make it harder to get up and running quickly. It can also limit an organization’s ability to adjust or maintain the system independently over time without continued dependence on external resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hi Mauricio, we appreciate you taking time to share you perspective in such a comprehensive way. It's great to hear from users where they are gaining the most value from the platform and also hearing about implementation challenges. Thanks again for providing a clear, transformation-focused view of what’s working and where we can improve.
