What do you like best about Oracle Database Cloud Service?

Oracle cloud provides a good hybrid model of public cloud and on-premise infrasturcture for better control in delivering cloud infrastructure services. With features like compute, database management, analytics, big data, networking, security and compliance , application development , management and governance oracle provides all modern cloud capabilities required for enterprise usage. Self -service and orscle exadata are one of the best things that oracle cloud provides. Oracle has higher skileld resources ,, support and technical staff and a string suite of enterprise products compared to its competetors like microsoft azure, google cloud and amazon web services. It's operates as a PaaS which makes pricing subscription based, very attractive and based on usage thus alleviating high licensing costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oracle cloud needs specific skillset for administration and control especially when using advanced features. Hence a dedicated team of technical experts is required . Some features which can be improved are Location based control, scalability, integration with third oarty services, intuitive oci interface, insights on offerings. If you are a large enterprise planning to move from on premise to a cloud infrastructure with strong enterprise support and a suite of oracle applications for integration purposes, oracle cloud is the way forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oracle Database Cloud Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have clients who run ecommerce websites , shipping and logistics businesses who have improved there bottom end by moving from on premise to cloud. The productivity has greatly increased as we are able to manage eveything remotely which has enabled them to hire engineers for core tasks rather than database management. The business performance hence has gine up as unnecessary overpriced licensing cost model has been replaced by subscription costs which can be tweaked based on need and requirement on a monthly rather than yearly basis.
