How much does Relay cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Relay pricing in 2026 starts at $30.00 and can reach $90.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Relay Financial's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Relay pricing best suited for?

Relay's pricing is best suited for small businesses with 50 or fewer employees, which represent virtually all G2 reviewers. The free Starter tier fits solopreneurs and early-stage businesses needing multi-account cash organization without fees, particularly those implementing Profit First. G2 reviewers in accounting, real estate, consulting, and veterinary industries gravitate toward Starter for its no-cost structure. Relay Grow suits small teams managing vendor payments, bill approvals, and recurring invoices. Relay Scale targets growing teams prioritizing same-day ACH, automated bill payment, and faster support response. Bookkeepers and accountants managing multiple clients also appear prominently among G2 reviewers, benefiting from Relay's consolidated account management.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Relay?

Relay's free Starter tier includes 20 checking accounts, 2 savings accounts, up to 50 physical and virtual debit cards, invoice creation, receipt storage, and 1% cash back, covering core banking needs for solopreneurs. G2 reviewers on the free tier report it handles Profit First allocation and basic AP/AR effectively. Relay Grow at $30/month adds multi-step bill approval rules, spend approval requests, recurring invoices, customizable bookkeeping automation, and savings on payment fees. Relay Scale at $90/month (discounted from $120) further adds 10 free same-day ACH per month, bill payment automation, partner offers including Xero and Engine, and faster phone and email support.

Is Relay considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers overwhelmingly rate Relay highly, with the free Starter tier drawing repeated praise for delivering substantial value at no cost. Multiple G2 users specifically highlight zero monthly fees, no minimum balance requirements, and no ACH fees as standout advantages. Reviewers in accounting, real estate, and consulting cite Relay's multi-account structure, automation rules, and QuickBooks/Xero integrations as features that would cost significantly more elsewhere. Relay Grow at $30/month and Relay Scale at $90/month are positioned as strong value for teams needing approval workflows and bill automation. A minority of G2 reviewers flag compliance delays and international payment disruptions as value detractors, tempering the otherwise strong sentiment.

"Relay: The Smart Banking Solution Every Business Owner Needs!"

5/5

What do you like best about Relay?

Relay is hands down the best banking platform for business owners. The ability to create multiple checking accounts, seamless integrations with accounting tools, and the real-time cash flow visibility make it a game-changer. The platform is intuitive, fee-free, and built with entrepreneurs in mind. Nabeel Jagani on their team has been exceptional — incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. Ease of use and customer support are truly unmatched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relay?

Honestly, there is very little to dislike. If anything, — and as a personal wish, it would be amazing if Relay could support Zelle in the future, though that's more of a dream feature than a true complaint! Relay continues to improve and the team is clearly listening to their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Relay solving and how is that benefiting you?

Relay has solved the problem of having a business bank that actually understands the needs of entrepreneurs. We use it for cash flow management, expense management, and as our primary digital banking platform. It's helped us stay organized, keep client funds properly separated, and run a cleaner, more efficient operation. We've also recommended it to our clients at Wealth and Legacy Builder, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
