PCC encompasses a full suite of integrated apps making LTC residents, LTC clinical staff, and LTC management quite happy. In fact, at the time of this review PCC is & has been the leading EHR software in the senior care vertical. For good reason; mobile friendly, rich in features & reports, strong analytics, and relatively easy to use. Keeping track of patient / resident care should always be the #1 objective of any AR, IR, SNF, LTC, CCRC, Acute setting, or any other in healthcare. PCC has taken much of the 'frustrating' factors, ie; triple-checking for errors, perpetual monitoring & updating PT/resident info. & much more, out of the picture for the majority of our healthcare employees, and truly allows us to do just that - place a primary emphasis where it's needed the most - on our patients / residents / loved-ones. You may actually look forward to Survey this year, if you've made the switch.
Other important notes:
Cloud-Based - Care services, billing and administrative processes seamlessly tied in
Collaborative, connected, with overall emphasis on a LTC's QA, compliance, & financials.
Very simple to Customize Reports
Clinical staff typically hesitant to make a change, but IMO, this is true whether you're making a facility-wide EHR upgrade to Cerner, McKesson, Epic, or any other EHR software...the acclimation process is expeditious, as well as any of your clinical staff/nurse staff's apprehensions of utilizing PCC. When your license is on the line round-the-clock, & you're perpetually charting, documenting, and many other, absolutely imperative responsibilities throughout everyday of your career, you quickly & genuinely come to appreciate any automated system reducing time, errors, and most of all assurance - the assurance that what you've done is 100% accurate, on time, and in the case of any questions arising? An irrefutable Record of your pristine work.
