**What do you like best about HHAeXchange?**

There's honestly nothing I like about HHAeXchange. They do have a few people who try to provide the best service possible on the front end, but when it comes to getting callbacks or response emails, it rarely happens. They're quick to send surveys, though. There is a free version for caregivers and caregiver agencies that Michigan offers in partnership with MDHHS, which seems to be pretty good and is a nice offering. I'm trying to get to this free version to integrate my existing platform.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

They have not solved anything for me and are holding me hostage for a billing contract that was not fairly presented by their sales department. The expensive contract wasn't what I wanted, and I can't afford it. They have horrible customer service, rarely getting a callback or response email. The pricing for the enterprise version should be geared towards small businesses instead of being priced like it's for big companies. The setup process was very hard and long, taking up to six to ten weeks to get things going.

**What problems is HHAeXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HHAeXchange hasn't solved anything for me. They're holding me back with an unfair billing contract, and I'm struggling to get their integration EDI department to assist me in running my business.

**What do you like best about HHAeXchange?**

That we can keep track of payments and invoices, and it's easy to edit visits.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

That when you download invoices or IVRs there's no set up option to download them by name or that the file has the clients name, so it gets confusing or we can make a mistake when doing multiple charges and clients

**What problems is HHAeXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We recently found a way to download daily care notes by week, so that specific feature save me personally A LOT of time. For the whole team, keeping track of old AR and the creation itself of invoices it’s something really cool

**What do you like best about HHAeXchange?**

HHAeXchange offers a comprehensive solution for managing home care services. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to schedule and monitor visits, track patient care, and manage compliance with regulatory requirements. The software’s integration with EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) ensures accurate timekeeping and reporting, which is crucial for maintaining transparency and accountability. Additionally, the real-time communication feature between caregivers and coordinators significantly improves the quality of care provided.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

While HHAeXchange is generally effective, there are occasional issues with system speed, particularly during peak usage times. This can slow down the workflow and create delays in updating patient information. Also, the reporting features, although robust, could benefit from more customization options to better suit individual agency needs. Finally, new users may find the learning curve steep, requiring time and training to fully leverage all the features.

HHAeXchange is solving several critical challenges in the home care industry, particularly around scheduling, compliance, and communication. By automating and streamlining the scheduling process, the software ensures that caregivers are matched with patients efficiently, reducing the likelihood of missed or overlapping appointments. This is particularly beneficial for agencies managing a large number of patients and caregivers, as it saves time and reduces administrative burden.

There are many feautres to utilizies to build schedules and billing out clients as well as developing medical documentations

if there is a problme it seems to affect across the platform.  also can be slow at times

In order to simplify operations, HHAeXchange offers a complete platform for managing home care services, complete with features for scheduling, billing, and compliance tracking. Accurate and effective care is guaranteed by its user-friendly interface and connection with EVV.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

Productivity may be hampered by the software's occasional slowness, particularly during periods of high usage. Furthermore, although effective, the reporting tools may use further customization choices to better suit the various agency demands.

HHAeXchange guarantees that care is provided effectively and in accordance with rules while streamlining workflows and lowering administrative hassles.

Full featured platform that offers a wide range of fields for caregivers and patients information

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

The UI while powerful feels dated and clunky to maneuver at times.  It feels like it hasn't been updated in a long time

A place for our caregiver and patients data that is HIPAA compliant which is so important for our industry.  Also having an app that our caregivers can clock in and clock out on is a great help

**What do you like best about HHAeXchange?**

Administratively I liked the system! I liked how easy one could create a calendar and the ease to see the patients. I also know that for billing purposes with Humana we had to use this system so thankfully we were able to treat and get paid for the patient because of this system.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

I know many HHAs did not like the documenting system. We ended up switching to 4Tellus because they could document everything easier from there. Overall I think it was just a minor issue.

**Recommendations to others considering HHAeXchange:**

Consider whether or not all employees can easily learn to use the system. I did not mind the system, but we ended up switching to Wellsky at the end of the day because it was the best for everyone.

**What problems is HHAeXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With HHAeXchange we used this as a documenting system to treat patients in our Home Health Care Agency. The program provided us a way to document, bill, and send notes to insurances to get paid for the services we were providing.

**What do you like best about HHAeXchange?**

It is the preferred company for Florida medicaid funded clients, but for anyone else it is not equipped or user-friendly to use for anything else. We were very disappointed in the program.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

The staff did not want to hear our concerns prior to the 'go live' date. We kept asking questions, getting partial answers and were told not to worry, that it would all work once we went live, but it was a disaster. We have clients that are private pay, insurance pay, etc. and we wanted to know how it would work for our non-govt funded clients. Turns out, once we went live, there was no good way to handle things. The people didn't want to learn how our company worked, to make sure their platform could do what we needed it to do, they just acted like we didnt know what we were talking about and that it would all work fine. They wanted us to change everything we do to fit into their program. Sorry, we've been in business 30+ years doing things the way we do them, we aren't changing processes that have worked for that long, just because a company doesn't want to figure out how their system could be improved to include our needs.

**Recommendations to others considering HHAeXchange:**

If you only handles govt-funded services, like Humana or Sunshine Health, this might work for you.

**What problems is HHAeXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It did not work for us at all. We ended up having to call our prior software company and extend services with them. HHA can only do scheduling for medicaid funded clients. Any other scheduling and billing for other clients is not something they are concerned with in their software.    It was built to meet the requirements for the government funded home care services, and that's really all it's good for.

What I really like about this program is that it has so many options, if you know how to use the program properly then it's amazing, sometimes it can be challenging to figure out stuff.

**What do you dislike about HHAeXchange?**

That when having a question or problem and you have to call HHA it's a nightmare - the wait is FOREVER. And after all that waiting I sometimes had that my ticket was never completed and i couldn't even track it because they kept on closing it and sending me new ticket numbers... Sometimes dealing with them is not that much fun. I wish they have a better system for open tickets, I'm not sure why I have a ticket open for more than 2 months spent over 19 hours on the phone and it is still not resolved. I even spoke to a supervisor she had promised me that she will take care of it and...

It specializes in Home Care so it really has almost everything you have.

I like that enables us to access all of our data from
Authorization all the way through billing.

Help desj Sometimes cannot help and i end up knowing the system better. I usually end up solving it on my own while I’m on hold waiting for them to figure something out

A myriad of issues are addressed. On the HR side, compliance is one. On the authorizations side it is helpful
As well.  We can set it up aomno sxhesuling can be done without an authorization. Makes accountability easier.
