**What do you like best about ShiftCare?**

The sales staff were very attentive throughout the pre-purchase phase.

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

The product failed to meet the main promises I was given, particularly regarding the so-called “public API.” The onboarding process felt awkward, communication throughout was unreliable, and after I made my payment, post-sale support seemed to disappear entirely.

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling and caregiver management is what Shiftcare was supposed to solve. This is the pain point for every home care agency. But Shiftcare failed miserably. They just made my life harder and cost me thousands of dollars. I would hardly call that a benefit.

shiftcare is simple readable and makes scheduling and client management much easier

sometimes the app can be slow and a few features fell limited or could be more intuitive.

ShiftCare helps streamline scheduling, client tracking, and daily reporting, which reduces manual work and errors. it keeps everything organized in one place, making my workflow faster and more efficient

**What do you like best about ShiftCare?**

ShiftCare has been great for keeping the client documents secure and easy to access for clients and staff. Scheduling is easy with a good amount of customisability, allowing me to add a good amount of detail to shifts for workers. ShiftCare linking to Xero has been great for streamlining invoicing, which has saved plenty of admin time. I have not had any issues using the app yet after over 12 months. I am confident that if there were any issues with the app or any of the software that it would be solved quickly. The customer service has been very responsive, efficient and the staff have been friendly, helpful and their service has been above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

The software has not always been easy to understand how to use. However, there are a lot of resources on the ShiftCare website and YouTube to help with understanding the function of the software. Customer service has also been very helpful.

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ShiftCare allows me to schedule shifts with NDIS clients with a good amount of detail. ShiftCare allows me to streamline invoicing by linking to Xero.

**What do you like best about ShiftCare?**

What I like the most about shift care is how it seamlessly assists with everything from rostering to client management

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

That it doesn’t have AI to help with drafting progress notes. Most of our staff use Chat GPT to draft the notes and then copy and paste it. They should have an AI feature to help with drafting the notes

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at this stage, I think the main challenge is knowing what features are on there and also the way forms are structured. The online digital forms need adjusting. It’s needs better configuration.

**What do you like best about ShiftCare?**

I love the ease of my employees being able to see their shifts, clock in and out and add kilometres and case notes then and there

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

it is a little hard to learn all the integrations with payroll etc. ANd when you get say an invoice wrong, there is no way to amend, you have to void and redo, and this does not automatically send emails to plan managers/participants.

The ability to roster my employees easily, and invoice easily without having to navigate different systems

**What do you like best about ShiftCare?**

ShiftCare won me over for various reasons:
1. Publicly disclosed pricing, with simple, logical licensing tiers. Much more affordable than competitors, especially for a very small business like ours.
2. Answered all my tricky questions live on their webinar
3. Extremely responsive, friendly, helpful customer service
4. Easy to adjust license seats up or down mid-way through a billing cycle, with credits applied instantly
5. Excellent integration with Xero
6. Semi-public roadmap with regular improvements and bug fixes
7. Heaps of guides, videos, and webinars (unlike competitors who almost ask you to sign an NDA just to see the software in action)

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

• No dedicated mobile admin app and a non-Responsive Design website makes it difficult to manage tasks on the go
• Certain UX issues - e.g. non-standard date picker, which doesn't allow keyboard input; limited flexibility in scheduling shifts (e.g. only 15- or 30-minute increments possible)
• Managing recurring shifts could be smoother – requires lots of clicking around
• Split shifts are confusing and don’t reflect as expected in the carer app or timesheets
• Other minor but noticeable issues: apostrophed contact name formatting errors <> Xero, lack of automatic syncing with Xero for staff details, and small UI bugs in the app

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1.	ShiftCare has significantly reduced the time spent on scheduling shifts, managing staff, and handling payroll. The integration with Xero allows for seamless invoicing, reducing manual errors and making payroll much faster and more accurate.
2. The ability to easily adjust license seats up and down, and assign shifts helps us manage an ever-changing team efficiently, without the need for complicated processes or external support.
3. ShiftCare’s platform allows us to keep clear records of shifts, notes, and communications, ensuring transparency and compliance and making it easier to manage staff and client interactions. It also helps with staff handover – crucial in an industry with such high turnover and casual employment.

These improvements have helped us reduce operational costs, minimise human errors, and free up more time to focus on delivering quality care. This has enabled us to scale more effectively while ensuring that administrative processes don’t become overwhelming, especially as the sole company director running the show.

It's helpful to be able to complete a whole bunch of tasks using one app, such as scheduling, approving timesheets, and storing staff and client's data!

At times, it takes a long time for someone to respond back to your message on the chat feature!

ShiftCare is well-designed and easy to use. 

Our employees find it easy to use, and it functions well for everything we need it to do. We use it for all of our weekly scheduling and client management and have encountered no issues. 

When we have had questions, the ShiftCare team has been quick to respond and help us resolve our issues. 

ShiftCare was incredibly easy to implement for everyone at Allard Home Care, from ownership to employees. It was easy to integrate into our way of doing things, and it has become our most-used software within our business.

I have found no downsides to ShiftCare. Everything has been well done.

Shiftcare has replaced 3 other plateforms for our team. It does what we need all in one place and has been very user friendly!

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

There are still some features that need some work. Our team would love to have to forms to be able to attach to client/carer profiles, the clients to get an email when a new note is entered, and us to be able to edit the note types that are available.

It is replacing a lot of harder and more complicated processes for us. The nurses are finding it easy to use!

ShiftCare is a very intuitive app that allows us to easily manage both our support workers and our clients. The online customer support is fantastic, the team is always able to answer our questions and assist with issues that we may be having. We use shiftcare on an almost hourly basis, and the ease of use allows us to create new clients, and make changes to shifts incredibly easy.

We changed software after 4 years of agony with another product. 
It was easy to set up, user friendly support pages and real human help when you really need it .
My favourite part of shiftcare now is the integration with the app.

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

We integrate the invoices into Xero and when we import it gives them a long number.
I wish we could integrate xero invoice numbering system to make importing invoices easier 
I also wish we could upload pdf copies of documents into client communications

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rostering contractors
Allowing offsite workers to communicate and manage their participants information as well as communication and notes summaries 
Invoicing and payments for NDIS
Updating NDIS prices seamlessly
Improved data collection
Compliance management for staff and clients
Assists us to run a virtual office

Their customer service, their reasonable price, their software ease of use, the ease of implementation, the number of features, the ease of integration...it is all perfect!

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

I do not have any complaints!  Any requests I have made, they have immediately worked on!

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since transferring to Shiftcare, I have caregivers leaving notes without me having to hound them like we did with the old software!  I am also saving a large amount of money monthly!  Lastly, the customer service is so wonderful that I do not even dread reaching out for the few questions that I have had, which is a welcomed change!

The system and the mobile app are very user friendly! Easy to on-board my nurses to the system as well! The customer service is great as well Matt was wonderful when we were on-boarding our company with the this system!

At this time I do not have any issues with ShiftCare!

I have a private home care company that specializes in post cosmetic surgery patients. ShiftCare was able to give us a platform to input and keep tract of our clients electronically, input nursing staff HR files, document and communicate patient care, and track nursing staff clockin and out via an app. Overall this app gives me everything I need currently for my growing business!

I like using ShiftCare as it's super easy to use and allows me to write my shift notes. Using this, our communication is excellent and provides our clients with a better healthcare experience.

**What do you like best about ShiftCare?**

It is a very well designed program that has all the functions that is needed to succesfully run an NDIS buisness. It has all you need with an integrated system that includes timesheets to invoicing.

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

THere is very little at this stage that I dont like. There are a few fuctions that dont exactly perform as well at they could, but it is very minor and doesnt really impact my experience.

It cover all areas that you could think of in running an NDIS buisness, this includes notes, budgeting, inovicing. It ensure that I stay compliant with NDIS auditing with little effeort.

It's super easy to navigate and understand. It works well for both my administration workers and support workers. The progress notes and tasks features are amazing!

After nearly 4 months of using ShiftCare, I haven't found anything I dislike.

**What problems is ShiftCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps significantly with rostering staff, I love that I can add tasks to shifts to remind my staff. The progress notes feature is also very helpful. Previously, my staff would have to text message me their progress notes. Using ShiftCare for this is much more efficient.

It's just very clever. The Xero integration, scheduler layout and level of details able to be added to the client and staff profiles is incredibly helpful. It's a very competent software.

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

It is pricey when having a large quantity of staff using it, and it would be nice to have a chat feature integrated to allow staff to securely discuss and share client information and ideas.

It's saving our entire team time by allowing them to log shift notes, timesheets and clock in and out of jobs in the one place. It should be a massive time saver.

As the Director of the this business, I currently use my Calendar for all my appts / notes / documents and Correspondence for quick reference when needed, Shift care would be a Time Management issue for me currently to use only Shiftcare for my day to day notes, unless I haven't obtained training on how to use and be quick and easier for me ?

Shiftcare benefits all my Carers with all details required to complete their shifts and add Case Notes and followups if and when needed.

The weekly view of appointments with clients is super helpful. Editing notes and having files saved for each client is great for when you have to make changes or look up client background.

**What do you dislike about ShiftCare?**

Several differences between the mobile app and website - not being able to edit notes on the phone once they are submitted. When writing notes on the app, if you accidentally swipe down, the notes aren't saved and you have to start again.

Keeping track of client information. Having it on the system allows different workers see client history. It keeps workers honest with the location clock-in/clock-out feature.

I like that the software enable me to keep everything in one place.  Client notes, team details, shift times and client details.  Reports for timesheets.

Least helpful is that the team can't alter their own shift if they need to.  You can do that but at a higher prices subscription.

It helps us to keep our team organised and to be able to alter shifts and let the team know without having to call them each time.  We can keep acurate notes and mileage.
